Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Determinant Consumption of Curly Red Chili in Households in Baturaja, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. This research is a quantitative research, using primary data obtained from April to August 2018. The analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis, Research Results Shows when demand increases then prices also increase and vice versa. The price of substitution also affects when there is a decrease or increase in the substitution, the price of chili also experiences the same thing, while the number of families does not significantly affect the number of requests for dried chili.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence farmer participation in the rice farming business insurance program (AUTP) in Pengandonan District. The methodology of this research was carried out with qualitative methods. Where the research uses statistical analysis using logistic regression analysis. Data obtained by distributing questionnaires and data obtained from farmers directly and equipped with secondary data, namely the relevant agencies. The results of this study are the factors that influence farmers' decisions in participating in the rice farming insurance program (AUTP), namely there are seven factors including: age, education, farming experience, land area, income, planting calendar and premiums. Of the seven factors, six factors have a significant effect on farmers' decisions in participating in the rice farming insurance program, namely age, education, farming experience, land area, income, and premiums. And one factor that has no significant effect on farmers' decisions in participating in the rice farming insurance program is the planting calendar factor. Keywords: Participation, insurance, farming, rice

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of poverty (x), on the human development index (y) in South Sumatra in 2016-2020. The data used is secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency. The analytical method used is panel data regression. The results of the t test show that poverty (x) has a negative and significant effect on the human development index (y). The results of the coefficient of determination test show that the dependent variable can be explained by the independent variable by 12.03% and the remaining 87.97% is explained by other factors outside this model.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of economic growth (x), on the human development index (y) in South Sumatra in 2016-2020. The data used is secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency. The analytical method used is panel data regression. The results of the t test show that economic growth (x) has a positive and insignificant effect on the human development index (y). The results of the coefficient of determination test show that the dependent variable can be explained by the independent variable by 32.58% and the remaining 67.42% is explained by other factors outside this model.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to determine the influence of household income, head of household education level, and number of family members on consumption patterns in Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. Methodology: The study uses quantitative descriptive analysis with multiple linear regression analysis tools. Results: The findings show that household consumption is influenced not only by regional typology but also by socioeconomic conditions. Multiple linear regression analysis reveals that household income, head of household education level, and number of family members positively correlate with food and non-food consumption patterns in Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. Findings: Hypothesis testing indicates that household income significantly affects food and non-food consumption patterns. The education level of the head of household also significantly affects both food and non-food consumption patterns. However, the number of family members significantly affects food consumption patterns but does not significantly affect non-food consumption patterns. Novelty: This research provides insights into how socioeconomic factors influence consumption patterns in a specific region. Originality: The study offers a detailed analysis of the relationship between household socioeconomic characteristics and consumption patterns. Conclusions: Household income and head of household education level significantly influence both food and non-food consumption patterns, while the number of family members significantly influences only food consumption patterns.
