Abstract

Hulu District, Deli Serdang Regency. This research was conducted in Tiga Juhar Village, STM Hulu District, which was deliberately chosen as the location of the study because it was the center of the production of salak pondoh in Deli Serdang . The number of respondents was 60 farmers who were taken randomly with a simple random sampling system. The research method used in this study is a survey method, data collection was carried out in April 2018. The purpose of this study was answered quantitatively by using financial analysis Net B / C. NPV, IRR, PBP and sensitivity analysis using a 9% factor discount. The results showed that salak pondoh farming in Tiga Juhar Village, STM Hulu District was financially feasible and profitable to continue. This refers to the value of the Net B / C = 3.5, value.of NPV = 116,953,200. Value of IRR = 20.6% and PBP = 4 years 8 months. Salak pondoh farming is sensitive to decreasing production and decreasing production prices but not sensitive to rising fertilizer prices.

Abstract

Ecoenzyme (EE) is a fermented organic waste solution derived from fruits and vegetables. The goal of this research is to see how ecoenzymes affect plant development and production, specifically in the edamame soybean plant (Glycine max L. Merill). This study used a non-factorial randomized block design (RBD) with four treatments and five blocks for a total of twenty research plots. EE, which was dissolved in water in a certain ratio, was investigated. E0 = without giving EE, E1 = 1: 100, E2 = 1:200, and E3 = 1: 300 were the four stages of the research treatment (EE: water). Plant height (cm), number of pods per sample (pods), number of pods per plot (pods), weight of sample pods (g), and weight of plot pods were all measured (g). The results of the statistically analyzed research show that ecoenzymes has no significant influence on all of the examined parameters, the best result is E1. The nitrogen content of the soil was determined using the Kjeldahl test method, while the P, K, CaO, MgO, and Fe elements were determined using the Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometric (AAS) method, where there was an increase in the nutrients N, K, Ca, and Mg. Abstract

Soursop plants is a plant that grows wild, then developed into a yard plant. Soursop plants (Annona muricata L.) grow in tropical climates and can adapt well to lowlands up to 800 m above sea level. This study aims to determine the effect of multi-functional liquid fertilizer on soil fertility in soursop plants (Annona muricata L.)  from shoot joints. This research was conducted on Jl Madura, Kelurahan Pahlawan, North Binjai District, Binjai City, Noorth Sumatra Province, from January 2023 to March 2023. This study used the Non-Factorial Group Randomized Design (GRD) experimental method with 4 leves of treatment (without liquid fertilizer treatment, 2 ml/ liter of water, 4 ml/ liter of water, and 6 ml/ liter of water) so that there were 16 experimental units. Each experimental unit consists of 3 sample plants, so that the total plant size is 48 experimental units. Observation variables in this study include plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, number of branches, trunk diameter, and branch length. The result showed that the effect of applying multi-functional liquid fertilizer at a dose of 6 ml/ liter of water had a significantly different influence on the age of soursop plants three months after transplanting on plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, number of branches, trunk diameter, and branch length. This is significantly different from the dose of liquid fertilizer 0, 2 ,and 4 ml/ liter of water.

Tanaman sirsak (Annona muricata L.) tumbuh pada daerah beriklim tropis dan dapat beradaptasi baik dataran rendah sampai 800 m dpl. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pupuk cair multi fungsi terhadap kesuburan tanah pada tanaman sirsak (Annona muricata L.) hasil sambung pucuk. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Jl Madura, kelurahan Pahlawan, Kecamatan Binjai utara, Kota Binjai, Provinsi Sumatera Utara, pada bulan Januari 2023 sampai dengan Maret 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode percobaan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Non Faktorial dengan 4 taraf perlakuan (tanpa perlakuan pemberian pupuk cair, 2 ml/ liter air, 4 ml/ liter air, dan 6ml/ liter air) sehingga terdapat 16 satuan percobaan. Setiap satuan percobaan terdiri dari 3 tanaman sampel, sehingga total keselurah tanaman 48 unit percobaan. Variabel pengamatan pada penelitian ini meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, jumlah cabang, diameter batang, dan Panjang cabang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh pemberian pupuk cair multi fungsi pada dosis 6 ml/liter air memberikan pengaruh berbeda nyata pada saat umur tanaman sirsak tiga bulan setelah pindah tanam terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, jumlah cabang, diameter batang, dan panjang cabang. Hal ini berbeda nyata dengan dosis pemberian pupuk cair 0, 2, dan 4 ml/ liter air.

Abstract

Durian (Durio zibethinus) is an annual plant that requires nutrients for its growth. This research was conducted from August 2022 to November 2022 on Jl. Madura, Pahlawan Village, North Binjai District, Binjai City, North Sumatra Province with an altitude of 28 meters above sea level. This study used a non-factorial randomized block design (RBD) with 4 treatment levels. The level of treatment of multi-function liquid fertilizer (D) consists of 4 treatment levels, namely: D0 = 0 ml/liter of water, D1 = 2 ml/liter of water, D2 = 4 ml/liter of water, D3 = 6 ml/liter of water. The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, number of branches, branch length, stem diameter. The results of the research on giving multifunctional liquid fertilizer to durian plants had a very significant effect on the plant height parameter at the level of D3 = 6 ml/liter of water. INTISARI            Durian (Durio zibethinus) merupakan salah satu tanaman tahunan yang membutuhkan unsur hara dalam pertumbuhannya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus 2022 sampai November 2022 di Jl. Madura, Kelurahan Pahlawan, Kecamatan Binjai Utara, Kota Binjai, Provinsi Sumatera Utara dengan ketinggian 28 mdpl. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Non Faktorial dengan 4 taraf perlakuan. Taraf perlakuan pemberian pupuk cair multi fungsi (D) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf perlakuan yaitu: D0 = 0 ml/liter air, D1 = 2 ml/liter air, D2 = 4 ml/liter air, D3 = 6 ml/liter air. Adapun parameter yang diamati yaitu Tinggi Tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, jumlah cabang, panjang cabang, diameter batang. Hasil penelitian pemberian pupuk cair multifungsi pada tanaman durian berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman pada taraf D3 = 6 ml/liter air.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the response of rice husk charcoal and goat manure solid organic fertilizer to the growth and production of corn (Zea mays). This study used a Factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 2 treatment factors and 3 blocks. The first factor is rice husk charcoal with each dose of A0 = 0 kg/plot, A1 = 1 kg/plot and A2 = 2 kg/plot. The second factor is the provision of goat manure solid organic fertilizer with each dose of K0 = 0 kg/plot, K1 = 1 kg/plot, K2 = 2 kg/plot and K3 = 3 kg/plot. Observation data were analyzed using analysis of variance and continued with the Duncant test. The parameters observed were plant height, stem diameter, number of cobs per sample, number of cobs per block, cob weight per sample and cob weight per block. The results of the study showed that the provision of rice husk charcoal and solid organic fertilizer of goat manure had a very significant effect on plant height, stem diameter, number of cobs per sample, number of cobs per block, weight of cobs per sample and weight of cobs per block. In the interaction of the combination of treatments between the provision of rice husk charcoal and solid organic fertilizer of goat manure did not have a significant effect on all parameters observed.

Abstract

Goat urine is liquid waste from goat feces. Goat urine is able to provide macro and micro nutrients and contains growth regulators (ZPT) that plants need. Goat urine contains 1.5% nitrogen, 0.13% phosphorus, and 1.8% potassium. Goat urine contains natural hormones of IAA, gibberellin, and cytokinin higher than other livestock urine. Goat urine processing can be done by fermentation. Fermentation is a process of chemical changes in an organic substrate through enzyme activity produced by microorganisms. The results of fermentation of organic materials such as sugar, alcohol, amino acids, proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins and other organic compounds are easily absorbed directly by plant roots. The use of effective microorganisms in the manufacture of goat urine fermented liquid organic fertilizer aims to accelerate the fermentation process. Effective microorganisms or also known as probiotics are mixed cultures of various types of beneficial microorganisms such as photosynthetic bacteria, lactic acid bacteria, actinomycetes yeasts, fermentation fungi that can improve soil microbes. The use of solid waste of goat manure is commonly done by farmers, but the use of liquid waste (urine) of fermented goats has not been widely known. Therefore, it is important to optimize the use of fermented goat urine as liquid organic fertilizer.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the response of multifunctional fertilizer and cow dung on the growth and production of Soybean (Glycine max L.) plants and their interactions. This study was conducted in Klambir Lima Hamparan Perak Village, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra from January to March 2023, using a factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK), with three blocks, 12 combinations. The first factor is cow dung fertilizer (P0) = 0 kg/plot, (P1) = 1.5 kg/plot, (P2) = 3 kg/plot, and (P3) = 4.5 kg/plot. The second factor is ecoenzyme (E1) = 90 ml/plot, (E2) = 180 ml/plot and (E3) = 270 ml/plot. The parameters observed were plant height (cm), number of productive branches (branches), number of pods per sample (plong), number of plong per plot (pods), production per sample (g) and production per plot (g). The results of the study showed that the provision of cow dung fertilizer had an effect on all observation parameters. The best observation parameter results on soybean plants were in the P3 = 4.5 kg / plot treatment. The provision of multifungal fertilizer on the growth and production of soybean plants had an effect on all observation parameters. With a treatment of 270 ml / plot gave the best results on soybean plants, while the interaction between cow dung fertilizer and ecoenzyme had no significant effect on all observation parameters.
