Abstract

This study examines the urgency of students' reading interest in literacy and numeracy skills at UPT SD Negeri 3 Gresik. The method used in this study is qualitative with a descriptive type. Subject determination is carried out using purposive sampling, which is a technique of determining the subject using certain criteria. Data collection techniques in this study are by observation, questionnaires, and interviews. The data collected came from related respondents/subjects who aimed to get an idea of the focus of the problem in this study. Questionnaires are distributed online so that students can work on questionnaires with flexible time with a predetermined period. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of data analysis show that interest in reading is very important for the development of students' literacy and numeracy skills. Without a high interest in reading, students will automatically experience obstacles to the development of literacy and numeracy skills. Policy innovations created and carried out by the principal together with all teachers at UPT SD Negeri 3 Gresik in the form of habituation every week and the implementation of interesting teaching methods and media to build interest in reading to improve the literacy and numeracy skills of UPT SD Negeri 3 Gresik students.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui kecerdasan intrapersonal peserta didik kelas V pada kegiatan pembelajaran di UPTD SDN Kamal 01. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan jenis kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling (sampel yang telah ditentukan). Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 6 peserta didik kelas V. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan angket/kuesioner, wawancara dan observasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini yakni siswa menggunakan kecerdasan intrapersonal dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran. Indikator kecerdasan intrapersonal dalam penelitian ini yakni emosional dan motivasinya. Berdasarkan indikator emosional, siswa-siswa menggunakan emosinal mereka, seperti rasa senang ketika mengikuti pembelajaran. Namun, dalam hal mengontrol emosi ketika pembelajaran berlangsung, terdapat siswa yang bisa mengontrol emosinya dan ada yang kurang bisa mengontrol emosinya. Siswa yang bisa mengontrol emosi, mereka tetap dapat mengikuti pembelajaran meski terdapat gangguan. Sedangkan siswa yang kurang bisa mengontrol emosinya ditunjukkan dengan mereka akan marah jika tidak paham dengan materi pelajaran. Mereka juga merasa terganggu apabila teman yang lain ramai berbicara. Sedangkan menurut indikator motivasinya, keenam siswa memiliki motivasi yang bagus dalam pembelajaran. Mereka memiliki keinginan dan inisiatif agar dapat mengikuti pembelajaran dengan baik dan maksimal. Hal ini terbukti dengan siswa akan mencatat materi, mencari jawaban melalui alternatif lain jika di buku kurang bisa dipahami. Maka dari itu, keenam siswa kelas V menjalani kegiatan pembelajaran dengan emosional yang berbeda-beda. Namun, sama-sama memiliki motivasi yang bagus dalam belajar.

Abstract

Dalam kegiatan belajar merupakan kegiatan yang paling pokok dalam keseluruhan proses Pendidikan di sekolah. Berhasil atau tidaknya pencapaian tujuan Pendidikan banyak bergantung pada bagaimana proses yang dialami siswa dalam belajar. Matematika merupakan salah satu Pelajaran yang sifatnya wajib di Tingkat Pendidikan dasar. Namun kenyataannya, matematika menjadi pelajaran yang ditakuti oleh para siswa sehingga tidak maksimalnya hasil belajar siswa. Maka diperlukan metode pembelajaran yang inovatif, salah satunya dengan strategi pembelajaran everyone is a teacher here. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu Untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis hasil belajar siswa antara kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran "Everyone is a Teacher Here" dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional pada materi pecahan sederhana untuk mata pelajaran matematika siswa kelas V UPT SD Negeri 84 Gresik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan yaitu Kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode konvensional menunjukkan rata-rata skor yang stabil antara pre-test (64.12) dan post-test (74.12). Sedangkan Kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan metode "Everyone is a Teacher Here" menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam rata-rata skor post-test (81.18) dibandingkan dengan pre-test (62.74). Maka kesimpulan yang didapatkan adalah intervensi metode "Everyone is a Teacher Here" memiliki dampak yang nyata dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi yang diajarkan.
