Abstract

Kant’s theory of education is clearly written in Metaphysics of Morals especially in the article of “Metaphysical First Principles of the Doctrine of Virtue”. Based on the frst principle of the doctrine of virtue Kant developes his ideas on the Doctrine of the Method of Ethics whick consists of ethical teaching and ascetics. According to Kant, ethics is an obligation coming from within. Tis obligation is not ascribed but achieved by the subject who is consistent in following practical reason. Tis is why moral virtue, according to Kant, can be taught.Education, metaphysics, virtue, duty, and natureTeori pendidikan I. Menurut Kant, etika merupakan doktrin mengenai kewajiban moral yang tidak diturunkan dari hukum ataupun peraturan dari luar. Kewajiban tidak bersifat kodrat melainkan pencapaian subjek bertindak mengikuti akal budi. Mengikuti akal budi adalah kewajiban moral dan bukan kecenderungan kodrat. Merawat KemanusiaanPendekatan Kritis Terhadap Teknologi ModernA. Puspo KuntjoroABSTRAK: Berita bohong (hoax) dan ujaran kebencian (hate speech) telah menjadifenomena yang cukup sering menyebar di dunia maya terutama media sosial.Khususnya dalam periode kontestasi politik di Indonesia, hal ini berkembangmenjadi sesuatu yang sangat mengkhawatirkan. Pengalaman telah menunjukkanbahwa polarisasi dan konfl ik tajam yang diakibatkannya dalam masyarakattelah menggerus rasa persatuan dan persaudaraan bangsa kita yang majemuk.Lebih daripada itu, fenomena ini dapat berkembang menjadi krisis kemanusiaanIndonesia, kemanusiaan yang ramah, toleran, terbuka, adil dan beradab terhadapsesamanya.Teknologi modern jelas punya andil besar dalam memunculkanpersoalan ini, khususnya teknologi informasi yang berkembang super cepat.Hoax dan hate speech, misalnya, menjadi mudah tersebar luas dan cepat karenadimungkinkan oleh media sosial dan algoritmanya. Sejumlah kajian fi losofi sterhadap teknologi memperlihatkan bahwa teknologi modern bukanlah sekadaralat yang netral. Teknologi modern membentuk dan mengubah cara pandangserta cara hidup manusia di dunia. Di samping pendekatan hukum denganpenerapan Undang-undang ITE (Informasi dan Transaksi Elektronik) yangtanpa kompromi, pendekatan yang kritis terhadap teknologi modern diperlukanuntuk melindungi persatuan dan kemanusiaan Indonesia dari potensi-potensinegatif yang menyertai teknologi modern.KATA KUNCI: hoax, hate speech, politik identitas, globalisasi, persatuan,kemanusiaan Indonesia, teknologi modern, enframing, challenging-forth, mediasiteknologi, detox teknologi, moralising technology. Abstract: Hoax and hate speech have become phenomena which often spread incyberspace, especially in social media. Particularly during the period of political contestation in Indonesia, this has developed into something very alarming. Experiencehas shown that the polarization and the sharp confl icts which result from it in societyhave eroded our nation’s sense of unity and brotherhood. Moreover, this phenomenoncan develop into humanity crisis in Indonesia, humanity that is friendly, tolerant,open, just and civilized towards each other. Modern technology clearly has a bigrole in engendering this problem, especially information technology that developssuper fast. Hoax and hate speech, for example, become easily and quickly widespreadbecause they are made possible by social media and its algorithms. A number ofphilosophical studies of technology show that modern technology is not just a neutraltool. Modern technology shapes and changes people’s perspectives and ways of life inthe world. In addition to the legal approach via the uncompromising application ofthe ITE (Electronic Information & Transaction) Law, a critical approach to moderntechnology is needed to protect Indonesia’s unity and humanity from the negativepotential which accompanies modern technology.KEYWORDS: hoax, hate speech, identity politics, globalization, unity, Indonesianhumanity, modern technology, enframing, challenging-forth, technology mediation,technology detox, moralising technology.

Abstract

Rempeyek is one of the complementary food from Indonesia that has unique form, different texture, and it also has many different topping to make a rempeyek. Beside rempeyek, rengginang is also our job as a Prasetiya Mulya student in Community Development subject to improve their business and our partner name is Ibu Lilis. The first problem is that Ibu Lilis didn’t have a brand or logo, didn’t have a good neat product, didn’t have enough capital, lack of human resource, and lack of knowledge to make a financial records. The solution to increase small scale business and wider market were consignment strategy, create a new brand and logo, change the quality of the packaging to become more durable. Method that we used for this solution is SWOT. This is done by practicing directly with partners to provide knowledge about all aspects; marketing, finance, operations, and human resources to develop partner businesses to be more developed. Finally, The product that Ibu Lilis produced can grow to be better quality, have a structured financial report, and get higher profit than before.

Abstract

Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) is a social organization that aims as a means of community development. PKBM has various activities in it, one of which is the Business Learning Group (KBU) which is currently not running due to constraints in management. We as a group work together with PKBM in developing KBU activities so that the potential of PKBM community members can be maximized. Groups help in terms of operations, marketing, human resources, and finance. From an operational point of view focused on the snack products produced, in terms of marketing supported for consignment systems and sales with online media, in terms of human resources a management system is made so that it is organized and financially in order to record more details. This facilitator is expected to help the activities at the KBU which lead to the implementation of activities in PKBM in order to help social problems. The resulting product focuses on snacks, especially roll chips and chopsticks that do not require special abilities. HR Management is the main challenge for the group to determine the person in charge of the activities at KBU so that the business can run continuously. Making this management system in the KBU will be the main focus so that the community economy in PKBM can develop.

Abstract

Community Development is one of the best program of Prasetiya Mulya University in collaboration with various small businesses in remote areas of Cianjur and Cipanas. We had the opportunity to help Ms. Wiwi's mochi business in Cianjur. Mochi production by the community, especially Taman Jaya Dua Village, Gadog Village, Pacet District, Cianjur Regency, has high potential to be developed both in terms of quantity and quality. Many processes must be passed as the time goes by to help develop partners' mochi businesses, including increasing standardization and sub-branding of mochi styles, compiling production SOPs, using safe preservatives, making online marketing media, adding competent workforce, and monitoring business financial performance independent. Our results are very satisfying. Ms. Wiwi as the business owner is also very happy and open with the input we provide. The results we get from Community Service activities are very satisfying as well. The income earned by Ms. Wiwi has also improved in line with the development of Mochi Gaya.
