Abstract

In the world of education there is already a curriculum that must be carried out with learning outcomes that must be achieved by students, as well as lecturers who also have duties as facilitators in these achievements. With the Learning Outcomes, it makes students have the ability or competence in accordance with the requirements to meet the predefined study program profiles. One of the competencies that graduates of the Broadband Multimedia field must achieve is in the field of data processing including data compression. The most widely used data compression technique is the Huffman code. Some research on the Huffman code has been done a lot, and someone has made the Calculator application. The calculator is used to determine the code for each character. The code for each character is not fixed, depending on the frequency of appearance in a text. The more often the character appears, the shorter the code. In this study, it has proven that the feasibility of the Huffman Calculator as a tool for Learning Outcomes can be done where data compression with language variables, in this case English and Bahasa Indonesia to the compression ratio, produces the same compression ratio, which ranges from 1.51 to 1.64 for Bahasa Indonesia while English is 1.56 to 1.83, with the average entropy for English 4.35 and Bahasa Indonesia 4.41.   Keywords: competence , data compression,  huffman code, learning outcomes.

Abstract

SON technology is used to change the network optimization process that was previously done manually to be automated. One of the main modules of SON is Automatic Neighbor Relation (ANR). ANR works by optimizing the Neighbor List to increase the number of successful submissions and reduce failed connections. In this report, the implementation of SON in the city of South Tangerang will be carried out using the ANR module. Optimization is carried out on 4G to 3G neighbor cells to increase the success rate of Circuit Switched Fall Back (CSFB). From the results of this optimization, it is known that the existing frequencies and bands in South Tangerang City are 251 (10 MHz), 1850 (10, 20 MHz), 3500 (10 MHz), 38750 (20 MHz), and 38948 (10, 20MHz) for the 4G networks and 10638 for 3G networks. The results of the implementation of the 4G3G IRAT ANR module in South Tangerang City showed a good decision by adding good relations and eliminating bad relationships so that there was a change in KPI on the CSFB side with an increase of 0.68% for the success of CSFB preparation and 3.25% for the success rate of execution CSFB.

Abstract

Teknologi akuakultur bioflok merupakan metode menjaga kualitas air dalam budidaya ikan. Penjagaan kualitas air dilakukan dengan mengubah nitrogen anorganik menjadi nitrogen organik yang tidak bersifat toksik menggunakan bakteri. Bakteri ini dapat mengkonversi limbah organik menjadi kumpulan mikroorganisme berbentuk flok yang dimanfaatkan oleh ikan sebagai sumber makanan. Namun metode bioflok memerlukan pemantauan air secara teratur untuk menjaga kualitas air. Oleh karena itu pada penelitian ini dirancang bangun sebuah sistem yang dapat menjaga kualitas air pada kolam ikan bioflok berdasarkan suhu air, TDS air, dan pH air menggunakan komunikasi Long Range agar dapat memantau dan mengontrol kolam dari jarak jauh. Alat yang digunakan untuk komunikasi Long Range adalah LoRa RFM95W. Hasil pengujian pengiriman data menggunakan LoRa dalam keadaan LOS dapat diterima hingga jarak 300 meter dengan nilai RSSI adalah -100dBm. Semua sensor dapat bekerja dengan baik seperti sensor suhu air, TDS air, dan pH air yang dapat membaca perubahan nilai yang terjadi pada air kolam bioflok tiap waktu. Selain itu, pemberian pakan ikan secara otomatis dapat dilakukan sesuai jadwal yang ditentukan dengan bantuan modul RTC. Respon yang diberikan saat kondisi air tidak dalam batas normal juga dapat berjalan baik dengan menyalakan buzzer dan menampilkan notifikasi pada aplikasi.

Abstract

The development of modern communication technology demands fast and high-capacity data transmission, making fiber optics the primary choice in telecommunications infrastructure. The implementation of fiber optic technology requires special supporting devices such as splicers, Optical Time Domain Reflectometers (OTDRs), and Optical Power Meters (OPMs), which have high investment values ​​but are vulnerable to loss. PT XYZ, which is engaged in telecommunications infrastructure maintenance, experiences obstacles related to real-time location monitoring and limited visibility in managing high-value equipment assets. This study designs an Internet of Things (IoT)-based GPS tracker system for monitoring and tracking fiber optic equipment using the integration of the ESP32 architecture, SIM7600G-H module for 4G LTE connectivity, active GPS, and the Firebase Realtime Database. The monitoring website was developed with a role-based access control system that regulates three levels of access: Admin, Reviewer, and Field Team. The results of GPS accuracy testing at 11 locations in Jakarta showed an average deviation of 2.02 m with 90.9% of locations achieving the good to very good accuracy category (≤5 meters). The website's performance efficiency evaluation based on the ISO 25010 standard achieved a score of 90.20%, in the "Very Good" category, with a range of 88%-92%. The system is capable of providing real-time monitoring with update intervals of 30 seconds to 1 minute, minimizing the risk of asset loss and optimizing the efficiency of field fiber optic equipment management.
