Abstract

For decreasing morbidity in children, World Health Organization (WHO) and United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) recommend giving exclusive breastfeeding for infants aged 6-12 months. In Indonesia, exclusive breast feeding coverage nationally in 2015 was 55.7% that was far from the achievement target in exclusive breastfeeding globally that It should be 80%. Whereas in 2016 it was known that the total infants who were given exclusive breastfeeding for 0-6 month infants were 29,5% and for 0-5 month infants were 54% (Kemenkes RI,2017). The purpose of this research was knowing the relationship of husband’s support with mother’s readiness breastfeeding infant. The type of this research was observational analytic with cross sectional approach. Samples of this research were all mothers who were in the third trimester at working area at PukesmasBulu, Sukoharjo district with 36- 40 weeks gestational age from November to December 2018. The instruments that were used were univariate and bivariate using chi square test. The result of this research showed the Asympvalue. Sig (2-sided) was 0.175 > 0.05. For the result, it could be concluded that there was no relationship of husband’s support with mother’s readiness breastfeeding infant with the strength of correlation. It could be seen through r value that was worth 0.220. It meant that the strength of relationships among variable was weak. Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk mengetahui status pertumbuhan dan status gizi anak dan  melakukan klasifikasi perkembangan pada siswa PAUD Wijaya Kusuma Papahan Tasikmadu Karanganyar. Target Luaran dari kegiatan ini adalah semua siswa dapat mengikuti kegiatan dan dilakukan pemeriksaan tumbang serta orang tua bersedia untuk mengisi lembar observasi tumbang dan menyerahkan tepat waktu sehingga data mengenai tumbang dapat diambil kesimpulan dan klasifikasi proses tumbang apakah kategori normal, atau keterlambatan. Hasil dari program kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini diperoleh 17 siswa yang mengikuti pemeriksaan 100%  termasuk dalam status gizi baik, 16 siswa (94%) memiliki tingkat perkembangan sesuai usia, 1 siswa (6%) belum sesuai usia.Kata kunci : Tumbang, Balita, KPSP

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor individu yang  menentukan pemberian ASI eksklusif pada ibu menyusui di Kabupaten Karanganyar. Faktor yang di identifikasiantara lain usia ibu, tingkat pendidikan ibu, status pekerjaan, urutan kelahiran bayi, tempat bersalin, proses persalinan dan IMD. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif analitik observasionaldengan pendekatan cross sectional dan metode survey analitik.Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner. Jumlah responden sebanyak 38 ibu yang memenuhi kriteria inkiusi dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Data yang diperoleh diolah secara statistik dengan menggunakan uji Chi Square dan fisher exact test untuk menentukan faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap pemberian ASI eksklusif dan regresi logistik digunakan untuk menentukan faktor yang paling berpengaruh terhadap pemberian ASI eksklusif. Uji statistik menunjukkanvariabel yang berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap pemberian ASI eksklusif adalah paritas dan IMD. Uji regresi logistik menunjukkan bahwa faktor paling dominan yang mempengaruhi pemberian ASI eksklusif adalah tindakan IMD dengan p=0,025 dan OR=0.19 Faktor individu  yang berpengaruh terhadap pemberian ASIeksklusif paritas dan Imdd sedangkan usia ibu,pendidikan, status bekerja,paritas dan jenis proses persalinan tidak menunjukan pengaruh signifikan terhadap pemberian ASI eksklusifKata kunci: faktor individu, ASI eksklusifANALYSIS  FACTORS AFFECTING  EXCLUSIVE  BREASTFEEDINGABSTRACTThe provision of exclusive breastfeeding is very necessary until the baby because only natural food ASI is enough to meet the nutritional needs of the baby and energy up to 6 months of age. The purpose of this study was to determine the individual factors that determine exclusive breastfeeding in nursing mothers in Karanganyar Regency. Factors identified included maternal age, maternal education level, employment status, baby birth order, place of birth, labor and IMD. This study was an observational quantitative analytic study with a cross sectional approach and analytical survey method. Data collection was done by questionnaire. The number of respondents was 38 mothers who fulfilled initial criteria with purposive sampling sampling technique. The data obtained were processed statistically using Chi Square test and fisher exact test to determine the factors that influence exclusive breastfeeding and logistic regression was used to determine the most influential factors for exclusive breastfeeding. Statistical tests show variables that significantly influence exclusive breastfeeding are parity and IMD. Logistic regression test showed that the most dominant factor affecting exclusive breastfeeding was IMD with p = 0.025 and OR = 0.19 Individual factors that influence exclusive breastfeeding parity and Imdd while maternal age, education, work status, parity and type of labor were not show significant influence on exclusive breastfeedingKeyword : Individual factors, Exclusive breastfeeding

Abstract

It is important in the phase of teenagers to get specials attention since in this period the teens experience a lot of change both physically and psychologically even health problems which are often experienced by female teenagers, such as anemia, a lump in the breast and dysmenorrhea which happen every month. However, the teens are still lack of knowledge about reproductive health problems and how to deal with. Even, the female teenagers consider those problems as a common thing and it is considered as something taboo to share. Some teens also feel ashamed to come and check-up at a health center. This community service is wrapped in reproductive health mini-seminar activities to make it more interesting. The methods used during the health education are lecturing, question and answer, and practice. This community service is aimed at improving the teens’ knowledge about anemia, handling dysmenorrhea, and practicing self-awareness (SADARI) independently. This activity was conducted on June 20th, 2019 and followed by 85 students of Muhammadiyah Senior High School 1 from class X and XI. After joining this activity, it is expected that the participants can appropriately react and be responsive to reproductive health problems that are often experienced by teens.
