Abstract

Kemampuan komunikasi yang baik menjadi modal utama seorang pemimpin dalam menjalan kan aktifitas bisnisnya. Permasalahan proses manajerial sebuah perusahaan cukup banyak didominasi oleh pola komunikasi yang kurang tepat dan tidak efektif baik verbal maupun non-verbal. Permasalahan ini dapat diminimalisasi dengan pola komunikasi kepemimpinan yang tepat, efektif dan efisien. Tulisan ini membahas bagaimana pola komunikasi kepemimpinan dapat diintegrasikan dengan strategi berbasis sumber daya sebuah perusahaan untuk memaksimalkan kompetensi dan kapabilitas perusahaan. Metode desk research digunakan dengan mengumpulkan, mengkategorisasi, menganalisa, dan menarik kesimpulan dari sumber-sumber terpercaya. Hasil dari kajian ini adalah model integrasi komunikasi kepemimpinan dengan strategi berbasis sumber daya sebagai perhatian agar seorang pemimpin perusahaan memiliki pemahaman komprehensif akan tiga hal, yakni: Interaksi, Komunikasi dan Transaksi. Ketiga hal ini menjadi kegiatan sekaligus kebutuhan paling mendasar umat manusia yang harus dipenuhi secara proporsional. Urgensi sekaligus kesimpulan dari kajian ini adalah, bahwa pemimpin yang telah memiliki pemahaman komprehensif diharapkan mampu mengoordinasikan aspek-aspek internal maupun eksternal perusahaan sekaligus sebagai faktor penentu suksesnya sebuah usaha, dalam hal ini PT. Astra Honda Motor (AHM). Kata kunci: Integrasi, Komunikasi Kepemimpinan, Strategi, Sumber Daya.

Abstract

The Hajj and Umrah become an annual tradition in Indonesia which must be accompanied by further emergence of travel agents that deliver services of organizing Hajj and Umrah. Hidayah Hasyid Oetama (H2O)Hajj and Umroh travel is practicing several marketing communication mix that is advertising, public relations and publicity, WOM and personal selling. This study discusses the paradigm of marketing communication in the context of Islam. Grand theory of this study is the marketing communication mix (Product, Price, Place, Promotion, and People) and focus on Promotion.This study used a qualitative approach worked with qualitative descriptive method. The paradigm of this research is constructivist and the collected data through interviews and direct observation to be analyzed systematically and thoroughly about Islamic values contained in the promotional activities of PT. H2O. The study stated and concluded that PT. H2O practicing sales and promotion based on the law of Islamic tenet and Syariah. The conclusion is that in Islamic principles, promotion techniques are not justified in using sexual attraction, emotional appeal, the appeal of fear, false testimony and the apparent attractiveness of research, as well as contributing to the ignorance of mind and encourage improvidence.

Abstract

Teknologi internet melahirkan istilah sosial media sekaligus menjadi sebuah “media baru” yang kini menjadi perangkat mutlak dan wajib bagi para praktisi Public Relations (PR). Fenomena ini terus berlangsung hingga saat ini dan tentu saja memiliki dampak perubahan besar dan mendasar, terutama bagaimana perubahan karakteristik dan alur penyebaran informasi yang terjadi di persimpangan era Generasi Milenial dan Generasi Z ini. Penggunaan media sosial masih didominasi oleh transaksi penjualan langsung online, sementara peran dan fungsi PR belum banyak mewarnai jagad media sosial. Akan tetapi perubahan karakteristik dan gaya hidup generasi saat ini sudah banyak berubah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan peran dan fungsi Public Relations dalam pemanfaatan sosial media sebagai bagian dari pertumbuhan “new media.”. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode literature review dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif untuk menafsirkan suatu realitas dan berusaha merumuskan konsep maupun teori berdasarkan realita yang dialami. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyaluran informasi melalui media massa yang awalnya bersifat satu arah, terpatahkan dengan hadirnya sosial media. Penilaian akan suatu fenomena kini menjadi milik publik yang heterogen, anonim dan tersebar karena penyebaran informasi yang lebih cepat, efisien, dan mudah didapat oleh semua lapisan masyarakat. Oleh sebab itu, praktisi Public Relations yang berfungsi menciptakan kesan baik pada sebuah organisasi, selayaknya mempunyai kemampuan menganalisa dan mengolah informasi yang tersebar di sosial media untuk kemudian dimanfaatkan dalam membangun citra sebuah organisasi.

Abstract

This scoping review explores the impact of emerging new media and communication technologies on society, focusing on the effects of technologies on communication, culture, and social interaction. The study aims to provide an overview of recent research, analyze the potential benefits and drawbacks of new technologies such as social media, mobile devices, and other digital platforms. The study employs a scoping review methodology, which involves a systematic search and analysis of existing literature on the topic. The study examines some aspects of new media and communication technologies, including their impact on interpersonal communication, political discourse, and social movements. The findings suggest that new media and communication technologies have significant implications for society, shaping the way people interact and engage in public discourse. While these technologies have created new opportunities for communication and collaboration, they have also presented new challenges, such as the spread of misinformation and the erosion of privacy. This scoping review contributes to a deeper understanding of the impact of emerging technologies on society, highlighting the need for ongoing research and the development of policies and practices that promote responsible use and mitigate potential harms. The findings are important for scholars, practitioners and policymakers.

Abstract

In 2012, the Central Government of the Republic of Indonesia projected the West Java Strategic Industrial Zone called the Rebana Triangle with 3 points: Cirebon City, Subang Regency, and Majalengka Regency. Since then, a large wave of modern industrialization has entered this area and affected all aspects of community life, including the threat to the existence of local cultural identity. This research aims to explore the meanings of 3 cultural symbols produced by the Jatiwangi Art Factory (JAF), a community of artists based in the Jatiwangi District, Majalengka Regency. Stuart Hall's concept of Cultural Identity serves as the reference basis, and Roland Barthes' Semiotics is used as the research analysis method. The research subjects are JAF, and the research objects are the 3 cultural symbols created by JAF. Data collection was conducted through informal discussions, field observations, the internet, and literature studies from 2000 to 2023. The results of the research show that: the Rampak Genteng Festival is a process of forming strong cultural defenses in mental, geographical, and political spaces. Clay Music is a dominant process of forming defenses in mental space. Meanwhile, Terakota City is the formation of cultural identity defenses in geographical, political, social, and economic spaces.

Abstract

Deepfake technology, an AI-driven method for synthesizing hyper-realistic yet fabricated content, has raised concerns regarding public trust and media manipulation. This scoping review examines its impact by analyzing interdisciplinary literature from computer science, communication, psychology, and sociology. Using a systematic review approach, the study identifies key trends, challenges, and research gaps. Findings reveal that deepfake technology significantly blurs the boundary between truth and fiction, eroding media credibility. Additionally, malicious actors exploit deepfakes to spread misinformation, manipulate public perception, and threaten information integrity. The study underscores the urgent need for increased awareness, policy interventions, and media literacy programs to mitigate deepfake-related risks. By mapping the current discourse, this review highlights critical areas for future research and practical strategies to safeguard digital information ecosystems.
