Abstract

The objectives of this study are to find out that through quided question can improve student’s writing skill for the eighth grade a junior high school in SMP MUSDA Medan in the academic year of 2017/2018 and to explain how to improve students’ writing skill in descriptive text through guided question at eighth grade in SMP MUSDA Medan in academic year 2017/2018. This study was conducted by using classroom action research, consists of 32 students where taken as a sample of this research. The research was conducted in two cycles. There were three meetings from each cycle in this research. The research design that used in this research were quantitative data and qualitative data. Based on the writing test score, students kept improving in every test. In the pre- test the mean score was 67,13 in post test the mean of writing score was 76,21. Based on observation sheet, it was found that teaching learning process ran well and students were actived and interested in writing descriptive text through quided question. The result of this research that by using guided question method can improve students’ writing skill in descriptive text.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Penguasaan Deiksis terhadap Kemampuan Menulis Artikel Oleh Siswa Kelas X Di SMA Negeri 8 Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2016/2017 Semester Ganjil. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskripsi. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 8 Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2016/2017 berjumlah 288 orang. Sampel penelitian diambil berjumlah 36 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu dengan teknik claster sampling. Hipotesis yang dirumuskan dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut, HA : Ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara penguasaan deiksis terhadap kemampuan menulis artikel bagi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 8 Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2016/2017 Semester Ganjil. HO : Tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara penguasaan deiksis terhadap kemampuan menulis artikel bagi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 8 Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2016/2017 Semester Ganjil. Berdasarkan analisis data yang diperoleh ∑X = 2536, X =70,44, SDx = 18,94 dan data Y diperoleh ∑Y = 2728, Y = 75,77, SDy = 10,63. Dari perhitungan  dikonsultasikan dengan  pada taraf signifikan 5% dengan N = 36 yaitu 1,467 > 0,329, maka hipotesis alternatif (HA) diterima. Hal ini berarti Ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara penguasaan deiksis terhadap kemampuan menulis artikel bagi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 8 Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2016/2017 Semester Ganjil.  Kata-kata kunci: Pengaruh. Deiksis, menulis artikel.

Abstract

The objective of this research are to investigate whether Role Play Method significantly effect to Improve Students’ Speaking Skill for Nursing Study Program at First Semester of Universitas Audi Indonesia. This study is an experimental research. The population of this study is the students of Nursing study program at first semester of Universitas Audi Indonesia. The number of students was 124 students and 62 students are taken as the sample. The first group is experimental group which is taught by applying role play method. While the second group is control group, it is taught without role play method. oral test is used, Pass the instrument for collecting the data. These test consisted of two types, namely pre-test and post-test. As the result of the test, t-observed was 8.10 and t-table was 1.671 (p:005) the result of the data analysis show that the value of t-table 8.10³ 1.671 (p:0.05). It means that hypothesis alternative (Ha) is accepted while the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, therefore it is concluded that role play method significantly affects on students’speaking skill. Based on the explanation above, this research can be chosen as one alternative in teaching learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of giving special milk for pregnant women and additional food on weight gain in pregnant women. The main target is weight gain for pregnant women in the Deli Tua sub-district. This study used a quasi-experimental method in which the research design used was one group test with pre-test and post-test designs without a control group. This study used a sample of 15 pregnant women in the 1st trimester who were indicated to be underweight. The results of the study showed that there was a significant difference in the weight of pregnant women before and after being given milk and supplementary food to the experimental group (at the level of p0.05). The conclusion obtained is that the provision of milk and additional food has an effect on weight gain in pregnant women. This program can be applied in further practice for further research and discussion of reference for further midwifery activities.

Abstract

Program "Penguatan Kompetensi Guru Berbasis ICT di Sekolah UPT SD 030290 Punguan Nauli Kecamatan Sitinjo" merupakan inisiatif Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi Pendidikan Tinggi melalui skema Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Pemula (PMP). Dalam menghadapi tantangan era digital, program ini bertujuan memberikan motivasi kepada guru untuk menjadi terampil dalam menggunakan aplikasi pendukung pembelajaran. Sekolah UPT SD 030290 Punguan Nauli dipilih sebagai mitra kerjasama karena guru-gurunya memiliki potensi tetapi memerlukan pelatihan lebih intensif, dan fasilitas sarana prasarana masih terbatas. Melalui sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan pendampingan, guru diberikan pemahaman tentang penguatan kompetensi berbasis ICT dengan menggunakan aplikasi Canva dan ChatGPT. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa 28 guru yang mengikuti kegiatan tersebut mampu menggunakan kedua aplikasi untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang kondusif, interaktif, kreatif, dan inovatif. Evaluasi post-test mengungkapkan peningkatan dari 72% pada pre-test menjadi 90%. Hasil angket kepuasan menunjukkan 92% sangat memuaskan dan 8% memuaskan. Program ini berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam menghasilkan bahan ajar berbasis ICT, memecahkan masalah keterbatasan fasilitas dan kurangnya minat belajar siswa. Kesuksesan ini dapat dijadikan model bagi pengembangan kompetensi guru di sekolah-sekolah lain.
