Abstract

This research aim to build and implement the Foods Menu Recommendation System into android platform. This application is built using the android studio 2.0 and SQLite database. Recommendation system is a software that means to help the user by giving a recommendation to them when user face the problem to take a decision, as example what book to read, what music to listen, etc. this system have a function to give a food menu recommendation which build by some formula to count the Body Mass Index (BMI), Body Metabolic Rate (BMR), Ideal Weight, and caloric needs by using the users data weight, height, age, gender, and physical activity. From the users caloric needs, system will get some food menus from SQLite database which the total amount of the caloric needs of the food menu reach almost the same with the users caloric needs.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to build Student Unit Information System which displays the archives of information that entered from a collection of data that coming from many existing student activity unit as a proof of student activeness in participating campus student activity unit. This research divided into five stages, that is problem identification, data collection, design system, implementation, and testing system. Design system includes system modeling using Data Flow Diagram and data modeling using ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram), then implemented using PHP programming language and MySQL as database then testing on system using black box testing method. From the results of this study produced a web-based applications that can help the students in monitoring the activeness of every existing UKM.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design a class presension application using Collective Facial Recognition using Haar-Cascade methods. The presension problem nowadays is really worrying. Lately, there’s a lot of presension problem, either from college students or from another acamedic instances. Which is why the author is trying to design a presension application that implements facial recognition system in classrooms to deal with this presension problem. The author uses Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 to design and create this application. The result of this research is the author managed to design and create the presension application using facial recognition with Visual Studio 2010 with accuracy rate along 71%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to build a Printing Product Order Information System that manages every customer ordering transaction and to generate a better ordering report. Stages in this study is divided into five stages, namely problem identification, data collection, system design, implementation, and system testing. System design includes system modeling that is done by using Data Flow Diagram and data modeling using ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram), then implemented using PHP and MySQL programming language as database and then testing on system using black box testing method. From the results of this penelilitan generated a web-based applications that can help the PT Sulo in handling consumer ordering transactions.

Abstract

Getting a job that suits the personality of the self is the thing that everyone wants. This Final Project discusses the design of psychological test application based on personality theory of Myers and Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) for job field determination and interest and job recommendation with Android based programming. The purpose of this research is to implement the theory of MBTI into the form of Android-based applications to assist users in identifying their MBTI personality types. After completing the test, the application will display psychotest results describing the behavior, habits, strengths and weaknesses of respondents and their character types based on four dimensional comparisons of MBTI theory: Extrovert-introvert, Sensing-Intuition, Thinking-Feeling, and Judging-Perceiving. The app will also feature personality characteristics, development suggestions, and field work alongside. recommendation of vacancy appropriate to the MBTI type of personality.

Abstract

CV Minahasa is a service company engaged in the field of grief services, such as funeral homes, funeral equipment and supplies, delivery of corpses, and others. The need for large operational costs and the inability to finance the profits of the company, forcing CV Minahasa so far must continue to depend on the demand for business loans. The short-term credit demand continuously carried out by CV Minahasa without regard to the ability of the company's assets or assets to repay the credit caused a serious problem and almost made CV Minahasa fall bankrupt. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to create an information system application to analyze the ability of CV Minahasa to pay short-term credit using the liquidity ratio analysis method (which consists of working capital, current ratio, cash ratio, quick ratio, accounts receivable turnover and inventory turnover). This system was built using visual basic programming languages ​​through Visual Studio 2013. The results of this system showed that CV Minahasa experienced many difficulties for paying their short-term credit because it could only meet the current ratio number, while the quick ratio and cash ratio were quite bad. Dependency on the balance of the sufficient amount of cash, accounts receivable, and inventory (all assets) can be a serious threat because any time the company can go bankrupt because it is unable to pay its short-term credit.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to build a Decision Support System that can assist the acceptance of employees based on the criteria and parameters that have been determined by the CV. Tri Tunggal Sejati. The method used in the process of data collection is the interview of the CV. Tri Tunggal Sejati. The SPK method used is Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART). In this study the criteria used are experience, education, age, microsoft office test, responsible, analyze the problem, make decisions, achievement tests, personality tests and intelligence tests and each criteria has parameters according to the criteria and parameters the company desires. From the results of this study produced a SPK design that can help the CV. Tri Tunggal Sejati in employee acceptance. Final decision making remains in the hands of the CV. Tri Tunggal Sejati, and the system only provides an alternative choice that makes it easy in decision making.

Abstract

Improper use on computer can cause a lot of damages especially on the hardware. Even though sometimes the damages are severe, there’s also simple damages. The goals of this study are to design and implement webbased expert system using Naïve Bayes method that can process the rules of computer condition to conclude final answer to the problem and then measure the performance. It begins with making data-flow diagram and entity-relationship diagram. Then, we implements that with PHP as programming language and MySQL as database. Based on research result, the author has managed to build expert system application to diagnose computer hardware problems with 100% accuracy based on 18 test samples with the average time of execution is 0.158845 seconds. With that, visitors can easily understand the nature of their computer problems and how to solve it.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to make interactive learning media for learning alphabet in Indonesian language using voice regocnition on android. This research based on the problem of how to design and build a learning media that can meet two types of children in learning alphabet. The first one is visual learner and auditory learner. To support this research, writer used Android Studio software that can produce an interactive application, and runs well in smartphone that using android as operation system. For testing method, writer was using black box testing. The results of this research are writer can design and build a learning media for learning alphabet for children by using voice recognition using the Android Studio software to produce interactive applications and can meet the two types of children in learning alphabet.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to measure the performance comparison between Levenshtein Distance and Jaro Winkler algorithms to detect plagiarism in text documents. The test data that were being used in this study consisted of two test data, the test data to measure the similarity algorithms and test data to measure the processing time of the algorithms. The algorithm was tested by using plagiarism detection application to calculate the value of similarity and processing time by both algorithms. After testing, the results of the two tests are averaged and then analyzed the comparison. Results obtained for the comparative analysis of the average similarity of Jaro Winkler algorithm is 80.92%, while for the algorithm Levensthein Distance is 49.43%. Then, comparative analysis of the average processing time of Jaro Winkler algorithm is 0.054 seconds, while the average processing time of Levensthein Distance algorithm is 0.138 seconds. Based on the comparative analysis that has been done, Jaro Winkler algorithm is shown to have a higher similarity accuracy and the processing time is faster than the Levenshtein Distance algorithm in detecting plagiarsime document.
