This study aims to analyze the relationship and influence of social assistance on the number of poor people in Indonesia. There are control variables as a comparison, namely; unemployment, central government debt and economic growth. The research method used a quantitative approach with non-parametric statistics, annual data (2013-2020) and elasticity were used to measure the magnitude of changes in the number of poor people due to additional social assistance. Rank Spearman test to test the relationship of each variable (total unemployment, central government debt and economic growth) to the amount of poverty in Indonesia. The results showed that there was a very strong relationship between social assistance for Contribution Assistance Recipients (PBI) and the Family Hope Program (PKH) on the number of poor people. The negative sign indicates that social assistance can reduce poverty significantly, with the strongest impact being the PBI program. There is a strong relationship between debt and the number of poor people. The slowdown in economic growth is proven to be unrelated to the number of poor people, meaning that in the midst of an economic slowdown, the amount of poverty in Indonesia can be suppressed through social assistance programs, job creation as laborers and government debt is allocated for productive activities and economic activities that have a direct impact on the poor and vulnerable to poverty. Poverty alleviation efforts can be carried out by the government by synergizing social assistance programs and creating job opportunities according to the ability of the poor on average.

The rapid use of information technology in all aspects of life from the government to the community has encouraged several cities in Indonesia to implement the connectedness of the use of information technology in the form of smart cities. The development of this smart city apart from integrating all elements of the city in an information technology system that is easily accessible to the public is also for the provision of transparent, efficient and fair public services for all communities. In line with the smart city with a smaller context, namely the smart village, which is said to be smart if it innovatively uses information technology to achieve increased quality of life, efficiency and competitiveness in economic, social and environmental aspects. Permis Village, Simpang Rimba Sub-district, South Bangka Regency is a village directly adjacent to Rajik Village and Sebagin Village which is a potential village supported by a strategic location. When viewed in the context of a smart village, there is no understanding as to what ideally the concept of "smart" is when it is attached to the village. A smart village concept that is not only able to apply the use of information technology, but is also able to develop village potential, improve the economy and create. On the basis of these problems, this article constructs a smart village concept that can be applied to villages in Indonesia. This is also supported by the lack of studies that address the development of smart villages in Indonesia. It is hoped that this article will become an alternative for developing smart villages for villages in Indonesia so that in practice it will give rise to a conceptual picture of the realization and elements of smart village development.

Sewage pollution originating from the activities of shrimp farming companies in the Pasir Kuning Beach area raises serious concerns about its impact that damages the environment and disrupts the balance of the ecosystem. This research aims to understand and analyze the inclusiveness of social capital in local communities as an effort to prevent sewage pollution. Using a qualitative approach, this research conducted in-depth interviews with community members in the Pasir Kuning Beach Area. Respondents were selected based on criteria that ensured a balanced representation of various community groups, and secondary data was used to provide a broader context. The research findings highlight the central role of social capital in shaping relationships, trust, and cooperation among communities. The implications include developing more effective sewage pollution prevention strategies and providing a foundation for understanding community contributions to coastal ecosystem conservation. The focus on social capital inclusivity as a catalyst for positive change demonstrates the determination of local communities to overcome the negative impacts of shrimp farming activities. In the context of Bangka Belitung, which is affected by the mining sector, this research is significant in efforts to reduce environmental damage. It is hoped that these findings provide valuable insights for stakeholders in formulating sustainable solutions that support the ecology and well-being of local communities in the future.
