Abstract

STIE XYZ in managing financial transactions still uses Microsoft Excel which is divided by year and type of payment. The purpose of this research is to build a systemized alternative application for managing financial transactions in accordance with financial management at STIE XYZ. Rapid Application Development (RAD) system development method was chosen because in this method a system can be developed within 180 days and the users are directly involved when developing the system so that the system is developed according to user needs. The RAD design process uses the Unified Modeling Language (UML) method. Dimension of Quality for Goods (Operations, Reliability and Durability, Conformance, Service Ability, Appearance and Perceived, and Quality) test scores> 75.50, 76.50 so that it can be concluded that the product is declared successful, the results of the benefit testing are based on the variables Usability, Learnability, Efficiency and Acceptability (ULEA) produces a value> 70 that is 90.65% so that it can be declared useful. Abstract

The educational paradigm has tried to create a quality of education that is in line with current developments but still does not forget the character of students and the local wisdom culture of the local area. The relationship between culture and the application of science in society is studied using an ethnoscience approach. The ethnoscience approach in science learning is an approach that is expected to help students think critically and explore phenomena that occur in the environment around them. This study aims at 1) Exploration of making “brem” in Wonogiri Regency; 2) Integrating Ethnoscience in the “brem” manufacturing industry in the Basic Competencies of Elementary School Science Learning. The study was included in qualitative methods of ethnographic design by determining both material and formal research objects. Research data was collected through interview techniques, observation and documentation of primary and secondary data. Through inductive data analysis techniques with data reduction processes and data presentation, it is assumed that reliable conclusions can be drawn. The research results show that the process of making “brem” goes through many processes and stages. The process of making Wonogiri “brem” applies science knowledge which can be compared with scientific expert statements. In conclusion, the process of making g of Wonogiri “brem” has gone through a scientific process, both chemical and biological reactions. Another conclusion is that process of making “brem” can be integrated as meaningful teaching material for students in several Basic Competencies in science lesson content for grades 3 and 5 of elementary school.

Abstract

Technological developments have an impact on decreasing environmental quality. Activities carried out by humans during their lifetime directly or indirectly affect their environment, the condition of the plants in the school garden looks less maintained, food and beverage packaging waste is left scattered. Many studies on strengthening the character of caring for the environment are still limited to the substance of learning and school cleaning activities. The purpose of this study was to explore the results of strengthening the character of caring for the environment through ecoprint artwork in elementary schools. Through a qualitative descriptive approach, it is expected to be able to reveal the problems in this study. The need for data collection, the types of instruments used are interviews and observations. Researchers use triangulation techniques and sources to test the validity of the data. This research was conducted using interactive data analysis techniques. Based on the results of research on the implementation of strengthening the character of caring for the environment through ecoprint artwork in elementary schools, the following are as follows: (1) The character of caring for the environment, the indicator of not using harmful synthetic dyes, reaches 100%. (2) Caring for the environment, the indicator of reducing the use of toxic chemicals reached 66.6%. (3) Caring for the environment Characteristics of saving energy and water is 100%. (4) Caring for the environment Characteristics of caring for and caring for plants is 100%. (5) Caring for the environment Characteristics of reduce, reuse and recycle indicators reached 75%. In general, it can be concluded that strengthening the character of caring for the environment through ecoprint artwork achieves a success percentage of 88.32%. Apart from the main goal of strengthening the character of caring for the environment, it has another impact, namely being able to awaken the entrepreneurial spirit of students by producing paintings and cloth products with leaf motifs that can have economic selling value..
