Abstract

This study aims to provide empirical evidence of the role of physical capital and human capital on economic growth. The contribution is focused on Pekanbaru City because it is the center of economic activity in Riau Province, so it is necessary to analyze the contribution of physical and human capital development to regional economic growth. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis in Pekanbaru City during the 2009-2018 period. The asset capital indicators used in this research are fixed assets that have been realized for the last 10 years, and the human capital used in this study is the average length of schooling of the population for the education level and thelife expectancy of the population for the health level. The estimation results show that the level of education has a positive and significant contribution to economic growth in Pekanbaru City. This indicates the important role of education as one of the main sources to achieve better economic development. Another finding from this study is that fixed asset capital has a negative and significant effect on economic growth in Pekanbaru City, this is caused by the use of fixed assets in not being fully utilized for activities that can encourage productivity activities in Pekanbaru City.

Abstract

The service activities in Jayapura village were held from October 2018 to May 2019 in Jayapura Village, Siak Regency, aims to cultivate dayak onions by using organic waste compost and processing it into BADAK Tea (Dayak Onion) as an opportunity for home industry among PKK members. Method of activities through socialization, training, mentoring and field monitoring. The results ofactivities socialization and trainingare obtained; 96% of participants received knowledge of onioncultivation dayak (BADAK), 91% of participants were knowledgeable about the efficacy and benefits of BADAK, and 33% of participantswere interested in cultivating, and those skilled in cultivating BADAK increased from 20 people to 40 people. From the assistance obtained 100% of prticipants have used compost in cultivation and the BADAK yields increased 100%. Next, the yields are used 50% to be used as seed stock and 50% of the yields (profits) are used for the services of BIJAK community (Innovative Mother of Jayapura Active and Creative). The obstacle of the activity is to change the behavior of participants in teamwork and thethinking process ofthat is more likely to sell their crops without processing them intotea products BADAK.

Abstract

This study is aimed to examine the effect of brand image and service quality on patient decision with word of mouth as mediation variable. The study was conducted in Prof. Dr. Tabrani Hospital in Pekanbaru. The data used consist of primary and secondary data. Data were collected by using questionnaires that given to 120 patients of Prof. Dr. Tabrani Hospital in Pekanbaru that used purposive sampling. Descriptive analysis method is used to describe the characteristics of respondents and the research hypotheses by using relevant statistical tests. Variables used are brand image and service quality as independent variable, patient decision as dependent variable and word of mouth as mediation variable. Analyzer used is path analysis by using program of SPSS 21 for windows. The results of this study are found that brand image and service quality have a direct influence significantly and positive on word of mouth, brand image and service quality have a direct influence significantly and positive on patient decision. Indirectly, word of mouth has a positive mediation role on the influence of brand image on patient decision and word of mouth has a positive mediation role on the influence of service quality on patient decision. The improvement of brand image and service quality are recommended in order to optimize patient decision.

Abstract

iThis study aims to determine the competitiveness of Indonesian pepper to the United States, namely to analyze the level of competitiveness, competitiveness position, market concentration of Indonesian pepper exports to the United States. The research used is descriptive quantitative. The research data is the export value and total exports of Indonesian pepper to the United States in 2010-2019. The data used was obtained from the official website of the Food and Agriculture Organization, United Nation Commodity Trade Statistics, the Central Bureau of Statistics, the Directorate General of Plantations and the Ministry of Trade. The results indicate that the RCA for the competitiveness of pepper exports in 2010-2019 has an average value of 30.54 per year, means that Indonesia has a comparative competitiveness of >1. For competitive competitiveness or ECI has experienced a decline in competitive competitiveness because it has an average of 0.94 per year <1. In terms of competitiveness, Indonesia is an exporter country because the ISP value shows an average value of 0.99 per year in the maturation stage. Abstract

This study aims to analyze what influences the receipt of building permit fees in Kampar Regency. This study uses secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the DPTSP of Kampar Regency in 2010 - 2019, while the data analysis technique is to use multiple linear regression methods. The results of the study found that the number of buildings had a significant positive effect on IMB fees in Kampar Regency. Meanwhile, PDRB has no positive effect on receiving IMB fees in Kampar Regency. The implementation of policies carried out in Kampar District to increase the receipt of IMB fees is to increase public awareness in managing IMB permits.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the utilization and management of temporary storage places (TPS) for waste and to determine the factors that cause the number of temporary disposal sites (TPS) for environmental sanitation programs for the ministry of public works and public housing in the city of Pekanbaru. The data used are the results of interviews with the Head of the Pekanbaru City Environment and Sanitation Service and the Ministry of Public Works for the Work Unit for the Development of Environmental Health for Settlements (PLPP), the people of Pekanbaru City and community leaders, as well as the results of analysis of documents and records. The analysis was carried out by descriptive method, using a qualitative approach to this type of phenomenological research. The results of the analysis show that the management and utilization of temporary waste disposal sites (TPS) can fulfill what the community needs with encouragement and sustainability in TPS management, and socialization is needed about the 3R TPS so that the people of Pekanbaru City can participate in running the program. And the factors causing the management and utilization of temporary waste disposal sites (TPS) in Pekanbaru City such as communication factors, resource support, attitudes and dispositions of officials, bureaucratic structures and community support are not functioning properly.

Abstract

Customer satisfaction and loyalty is a key for successful business because consumers are satisfied and loyal will help teh company achieve its goals. If teh company can create maximum customers satisfaction, tehn teh company will created a loyal customers. The population in this research are people who consumers of teh Kayu Aro Brand Tea in Pekanbaru City and using 99 respondents. This research aim to find out teh effect of Brand Awareness,. Brand-imageaand consumer satisfaction on consumer loyalty for Kayu Aro brand tea in Pekanbaru City. Teh data were analyzed using SEM(Structural Equation Model) analysis. Teh results showed that brand awareness and brand images had a positive effect on consumer satisfaction. Meanwhile, Brand images and consumer satisfaction have a positive-significant impact on consumer loyalty to teh Kayu Aro Brand Tea. For teh indirect effect, it is known that Brand Awareness and brand images have an indirect effect on consumer loyalty of Kayu Aro Brand Tea through consumer satisfaction. Kepuasan dan loyalitas konsumen merupakan kunci bagu kesuksesan bisnis, karena pelanggan yang puas dan loyal membantu perusahaan untuk mencapai tujuannya. Perusahaan yang berhasil mewujudkan kepuasan pelanggan yang setinggi-tingginya, akan menciptakan pelanggan yang loyal terhadap produk. Populasi dalam penelitian ini merupakan konsumen Teh Merek Kayu Aro di Kota Pekanbaru dengan menggunakan 99 orang responden. Tujuan dari kajian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari Brand Awareness,brand-image dan kepuasan konsumen terhadap loyalitas konsumen Teh Merek Kayu Aro di Kota Pekanbaru. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis SEM (Structuran Equation Model).hHasil penelitian dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa brand awareness dan brand images berpengaruh positif-signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen Sedangkan, Brand images dan kepuasan konsumen berpengaruh positif-signifikan terhadap loyalitas konsumen pada Teh Merek Kayu Aro. Sementara hasil penelitian terhadap pengaruh tidak langsung dapat disimpulkan bahwa Brand Awareness dan brand images berpengaruh terhadap loyalitas konsumen Teh Merek Kayu Aro melalui kepuasan konsumen.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat literasi keuangan syariah pada mahasiswa Universitas Riau Program Studi S-1 Ekonomi Pembangunan Tahun 2018 Jurusan Ilmu Ekonomi angkatan 2018. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa jurusan Ekonomi, Kelas tahun 2018 sebanyak 106 mahasiswa yang aktif belajar. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel jenuh yaitu setiap anggota populasi dijadikan sampel sebanyak 106 sampel. Aspek literasi keuangan syariah yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi aspek pengetahuan dasar keuangan syariah, aspek simpan pinjam syariah, aspek asuransi syariah, dan aspek investasi syariah. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat literasi keuangan syariah mahasiswa Jurusan Ekonomi angkatan 2018 sebesar 66,32%, jika persentase tersebut masuk dalam kriteria tingkat literasi keuangan menurut Chen dan Volpe maka 66,32% berada pada kategori sedang. Rata-rata nilai yang diperoleh pada aspek pengetahuan dasar keuangan syariah sebesar 68,94%, simpan pinjam syariah 68,92%, asuransi syariah 60,01%, dan aspek investasi syariah 73,9%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of organizational climate and competence on organizational commitment. To find out and analyze the influence of organizational climate and competence on employee performance. To determine and analyze the effect of organizational commitment on employee performance and To determine and analyze the effect of organizational climate and competence on performance through organizational commitment. In this study, the population is non-educational employees as many as 125 civil servants and Honorer employees. While the sample used as many as 25 people. The data used in this study were primary data and secondary data, while the data collection technique used a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used in this study is the data analysis used in this study is SEM. Organizational climate affects commitment. Competence affects commitment. Organizational climate has an effect on employee performance. Competence affects the performance of employees. Commitment has a significant effect on employee performance. Organizational climate has a significant effect on employee performance through commitment. AndCompetence has a significant effect on employee performance through commitment.

Abstract

Setiap instansi seringkali dihadapkan dengan masalah mengenai kinerja pegawainya. Setiap pimpinan didalam instansiakan selalu berupaya agar setiap kegiatan yang dilaksanakan mencapai hasil yang maksimal dan dilakukan secara efektif dan efisien. Agar tercapai tingkat efektivitas dan efisiensi yang diinginkan, maka didalam instansi tersebut harus memiliki sistem kerja yang baik atau memiliki kinerja yang baik. Oleh karena itu, keberhasilan sebuah organisasi sangat bergantung kepada baik atau buruknya kinerja dari organisasi tersebut. Dimana kinerja dari suatu organisasi tergantung dari kinerja para pegawainya yang merupakan motor bagi berjalannya sebuah organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpian, motivasi dan insentif terhadap kinerja pegawai. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 62 orang. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder, sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linier berganda. Temuan penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa kepemimpinan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Kepemimpinan dapat menentukan tingkat kinerja pegawai, semakin baik kepemimpinan maka kinerja akan meningkat. Motivasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, artinya Motivasi pegawai dapat menentukan kinerja, sehingga semakin baik Motivasi, maka kinerja akan semakin tinggi. Insentif berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, artinya insentif pegawai dapat menentukan kinerja, sehingga semakin tinggi insentif, maka kinerja akan semakin menurun, sebaliknya semakin rendah insentif maka kinerja akan meningkat. Secara bersama-sama kepemimpinan, motivasi dan insentif berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan, motivasi dan insentif dapat menentukan tingkat kinerja pegawai. Semakin baik kepemimpinan, motivasi dan insentif maka kinerja akan semakin meningkat.
