Abstract

Abstrak: Untuk mengurangi biaya operational kelompok tani ikan Nila di Desa Sungai Duren, Muaro Jambi. Permasalahan umum yang dihadapi unit usaha KJA ini diantaranya adalah rendahnya produktifitas perikanan tambak karena biaya pakan yang relative mahal. Solusi yang ditawarkan yakni dengan transfer teknologi pemanfaatan alat pembuat pakan ikan alternatif skala UMKM guna menekan biaya pakan. Hasil dari kegiatan PKM ini adalah peningkatan pemahaman teknologi pembuatan pelet ikan, yang mencakup pada pemahaman formulasi bahan baku pakan, penakaran, peracikan sampai pada tahap pencetakan menggunakan mesin pelet. Dengan pakan alternatif ini didapat potensi penurunan biaya pakan sampai dengan 15,5% untuk kombinasi pemberian pakan 50:50 persen terhadap pakan konvensional. Secara keseluruhan, peningkatan indeks pengaruh kegiatan PKM ini mencapai 2,3 poin, dari 1,7 menjadi 4,0 dalam skala 5, dengan persentase terbanyak dari peningkatan kemampuan dalam formulasi dan pembuatan pakan ikan menggunakan mesin pellet. Abstract:  To reduce operational costs a group of tilapia farmers in Sungai Duren village, Muaro Jambi. They are face several problems such as low productivity of pond fisheries due to relatively high cost of feed. As a solution, transfer of technology of pellets machine for MSME scale was believed may reduce feed costs. The result of this activity was an increasing in understanding of the technology for making fish pellets, which includes understanding the formulation of feed raw materials, dosing, compounding untill molding stage by using a pellet machine. With this alternative feed, the is a potential reduction of feed costs for up to 15.5% for combination of feeding 50:50 percent to conventional feed. Finally, the increasing of understanding index of PKM activities reached 2.3 points, from 1.7 to 4.0 out of 5, with the largest contribution from the increased ability in the formulation and manufacture of fish feed using a pellet machine.

Abstract

This research is related to the development of pv system scanning at Politeknik Jambi and economic analysis using RETScreen software. The purpose of this research is to design photovoltaic system at building of Politeknik Jambi, to analyze photovoltaic technology for Poliknik Jambi building and to calculate photovoltaic economy for Politeknik Jambi building. The results showed that the required PV system of 135 kW/day, while based on the results of economic analysis using RETScreen Software required development cost of IDR 4.696.030.000 and capital turnover time for 20 years. This result shows that the system is designed to be built in Politeknik Jambi.

Abstract

Abstrak, Paper ini akan mengetengahkan tentang bagaimana terciptanya mobil listrik serta metode metode yg diperlukan untuk tercapainya sebuah mobil listrik. Konsep mobil listrik bukanlah barang baru. Seiring bertambah majunya teknologi baterai pada akhir abad ke 19, beberapa kendaraan listrik sudah mulai dibuat. Perkembangan dunia otomotif, menyebabkan peningkatan kebutuhan akan bahan bakar minyak yang dipakai sebagai bahan bakar kendaraan bermotor. Dengan kenaikan harga minyak bumi yang terus meningkat, maka pengembangan mobil listrik berpeluang besar menjadi penyelesaian masalah tersebut. Penggunaan mobil listrik dirasa efektif selain tidak menimbulkan polusi udara dan konstruksi mesinnya yang lebih sederhana. Penggunaan mobil listrik tentunya membutuhkan mesin listrik. Dipaper ini digunakan beberapa metode kontrol untuk membuat sebuah mobil listrik, seperti metode kontrol kecepatan putaran motor, metode kontrol EV/HEV Bidirectional, dan metode kontrol full cell atau metode kontrol untuk pengisian baterai. Kata kunci : Mobil listrik, motor dc, full cel, EV/HEV Bidirectional.

Abstract

Penerapan energi baru terbarukan (EBT), seperti energi surya, menjadi salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan ketercapaian terget serapan EBT 23% di tahun 2025 secara nasional. Provinsi Jambi yang terletak -1,6o LU dari garis ekuator memiliki potensi yang besar akan energi surya, yakni 4,59 kWh/m2/hari. Untuk itu, sebagai salah satu cara untuk mendorong masyarakat mulai melakukan peralihan dari energi listrik konvensional menuju energi terbarukan, dibangun suatu sistem tenaga surya yang difungsikan sebagai energi cadangan , guna mengatasi disaat terjadinya pemadaman listrik. Rancangan ini dibangun untuk diterapkan pada pelanggan listrik berdaya 900 watt. Hasil pengujian dalam skala laboatorium, dengan menggunakan panel surya 100Wp dan baterai 70Ah, diperoleh potensial energi yang dihasilkan sebesar 0,32 kWh sampai dengan 0,74 kWh per hari. Waktu pengisian baterai diperoleh selama 720 menit dengan daya pengisian PV sebesar 70 watt. Sementara itu, dengan menggunakan daya 500W, diperoleh waktu pengosongan baterai selama 100 menit. Penerapan ini, diperoleh potensi penghematan energi listrik sebesar 6% sampai 15% dari total 4,9kWh energi yang dibutuhkan per hari. Implementasi sistem energi surya sebagai energi cadangan ini selain mampu menanggulangi disaat terjadi pemadaman listrik, juga mengurangi ketergantungan terhadap energi listrik konvensional.

Abstract

The prototype of an automatic water tank filling system based on a sonoff smart switch that works based on the volume of water level in a tank based on a sonoff smart switch has been successfully created. This study aims to determine the working principle of the sonoff switch and automatic water tank filling system. The water sensor used in this study is a float switch type that works based on changes in the value of the high volume of the tank water. For automatic filling of the water tank, a sonoff smart switch and also a float switch has been used as a switch to drain and disconnect the electric current to the pump. The design results show that this automatic water tank filling system can work well, where if the water tank level is below 20% then the water pump will turn "ON" and if the water level in the tank is above 90% then the water pump will turn "OFF".

Abstract

One of the problems in the field of electrical energy is limited fossil energy resources are the main source of electrical energy producer in Indonesia. To reduce the impact of electricity dependence on the availability of this fossil, it needed a new source of electrical energy that can be renewed. Hybrid power is one source of electrical energy, which is sourced from the light and wind gusts that are environmentally friendly. Due to this hybrid power source of the sun and the wind is, the output voltage of electricity is not stable, because the change according to the circumstances surrounding nature. Batteries are one of the tools that can store electrical energy and can accommodate energy output from the hybrid power source. This research will be discussed rationing system is a hybrid of the capacity of the energy storage system, which includes the relationship between light intensity and the wind blowing against the current and the voltage is raised, and the efficiency increase of the energy storage system.

Abstract

Research on the design and construction of a micro hydro power plant has been conducted. This tool is used to support energy conversion learning, in this case a micro hydro power plant. In this research a series of steps were carried out including design, assembly, and testing. The plant uses a 12 VDC generator equipped with an inverter. From the test results it was found that this prototype has been able to produce electrical energy from a relatively small water flow, which starts from 1,9 m3/s by generating electricity of 0.03 watts. In this test the highest power measurement results obtained were 0.09 watts at the water discharge of 3,02 m3/s. Thus the greater water debit used, the bigger electricity produced will be.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menawarkan pemanfaatan sumber daya energi yang tidak akan pernah habis (terbarukan), tetapi untuk membangun sistem pembangkit pv itu membutuhakan biaya yang cukup besar sehingga perlukan analisis terkait dengan dampak tekno-ekonomi terhadap keberdaaan pembangkit pv. Penelitian berkaitan dengan analisis tekno-ekonomi sistem pembangkit pv pada gedung politeknik jambi (poljam), tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang system pembangkit pv sekaligus menganalisa dampak tekno-ekonomi sesuai dengan kebutuhan energi listrik sebesar 66 kwh (PLN) dengan pemakaian rata rata 6 kw/jam yang diperlukan pada gedung politeknik jambi dengan pembayaran bulanan mencapai +- rp. 7.000.000. Per bulannya, analisis tekno-ekonomi dilakukan menggunakan software retscreen untuk mengetahui kebutuhan biaya dan jangka waktu Return Of Investment (ROI) berkaitan dengan pembangunan pembangkit pv pada gedung politeknik jambi.

Abstract

Testing of 3 phase induction motors with a variety of wire diameters. First, find out the ideal wire size on an induction motor. Second, ratio of the power used on an induction motor with different winding wire sizes. Third, to find out the torque produced by an induction motor with different wire winding sizes. Then, The induction motor test was performed by taking the power data used on two motors with a diameter of 0.6 mm and 0.5 mm winding wire, RPM data and torque produced by an induction motor with a diameter of 0.6 mm and 0.5 mm. So, we can get the results the induction motor with a diameter of 0.6 mm wire uses as maximum power of 549.10 Watt or more than the induction motor with a diameter of a wire wound of 0.5 mm which only uses a maximum power of 345.95 Watt, the wire diameter induction motor winding 0.6 mm produces a maximum torque of 746.92 Nm or greater than an induction motor with a diameter of 0.5 mm winding wire which only produces a maximum torque of 383.97 Nm. So, It can be conclude that the more number of revolutions per minute (RPM), the torque produced will be smaller, then, the greater the torque produced, the more power is used.

Abstract

In a basic electricity network, the quality of electric power distribution is needed. There are also obstacles in the distribution of electric power that can affect, let alone damage, the electric power system. If this voltage constraint is connected to electrical or electronic equipment and exceeds the nominal voltage tolerance limit, it can interfere with the performance of the equipment or moreover it can damage it. From the testing of the Arduino uno microcontroller-based under / over voltage relay tool, it can be concluded that the under / over voltage relay device designed and made can work properly, in the sense that this tool can detect an under voltage of -5% and an over voltage of +5. % of nominal voltage and able to activate the fault indicator light and sound an alarm when the under / over voltage setting is exceeded
