Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis kelayakan dan keefektifan Interaktif Mobile Learning Module terintegrasi kearifan lokal lomba di Kabupaten Batang terhadap peningkatan representasi vektor materi momentum peserta didik. Desain penelitian menggunakan pretest-posttest control group design. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari dua orang dosen sebagai validator ahli, enam orang guru fisika dan 108 peserta didik kelas XI SMAN 2 Batang. Instrumen penelitian ini berupa angket validasi ahli, angket respon guru, angket respon peserta didik, dan tes tertulis. Validasi instrumen tes menggunakan Aiken’s V. Teknik analisis uji kelayakan media menggunakan kategori penilaian baku skala lima, sedangkan uji keefektifan media menggunakan analisis uji Multivariate Test pada General Linear Model (GLM). Penilaian instrumen tes kemampuan representasi vektor materi momentum Interaktif Mobile Learning Modul, berada pada kriteria valid. Analisis hasil uji keefektifan Interaktif Mobile Learning Module memeroleh nilai MD sebesar -37,331 dengan taraf Sig.<0,05 menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan representasi vektor materi momentum sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan Interaktif Mobile Learning Module

Abstract

The amount of sunscreen ability is determined through the value of a person's Sun Protection Factor (SPF) when under the sun without experiencing sunburn. This study aims to measure the intensity of sunlight received by batik textile fabrics and SPF measurements to determine the ability of these fabrics to protect sunlight radiation. The research was conducted at the Sorogenen area in Pekalongan, Central Java. The intensity data collection is done during the sunny weather with 300C - 320C temperature. The SPF value is calculated by comparing the intensity of sunlight without and with a protective batik cloth. Between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. (GMT +7), the average intensity is 85.160 lux to 113.400 lux. The results obtained by fabric with a thickness of 2 mm have an SPF greater than fabric with a thickness of 1 mm. Cotton fabric has the ability to protect against sunlight better than satin and Mori fabric. A blue cotton cloth owns the most significant SPF value with a thickness of 2 mm of 36.06. In comparison, the smallest SPF value is owned by yellow Mori fabric with a thickness of 1 mm of 5.24.

Abstract

A mental model was students’ internal representation when they learned a concept. The conceptual model is a description of natural phenomena following the views of scientists. Most high school students have an idea of classical physics on understanding the concept of the photoelectric effects. Understanding the photoelectric effect is key to comprehend the fundamentals of quantum physics. The photoelectric effects can explain the quantization of energy that is explainable by a classical physics theory. This research's learning modeling aims to identify and investigate the profile of Class XII high school students’ mental models by regarding the concept of the photoelectric effects. This research employed descriptive methods. The research sample was selected purposively. This research used a diagnostic test for the pretest to determine the initial knowledge about the photoelectric effect of 30 students (12 male students and 18 female students) from the XII MIPA class at SMA Negeri 1 Pekalongan. The pretest questions consisted of 4 description questions. The pretest results were then analyzed and used to determine six students for an interview process, two students with high results, two students with medium results, and two students with low results. The interview results reveal that the students usually implement classical physics knowledge when developing mental models of the photoelectric effects.
