Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the role of teachers in instilling the values of Pancasila and the character of the students (young citizens) in Atambua junior high school. Atambua is one of regencies in East Nusa Tenggara province which borders between the State of Indonesia to Timor Leste. Based on observations of researchers that in Atambua junior high school, Civics teachers play an active role in instilling the values of nationalism character in students. Pancasila as a guide to life in Indonesia so it is important to preserve. Efforts to strengthen the values of Pancasila by civics teachers during the learning process. The object of research in Atambua junior high school. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive form. The results show that teachers strive to instill nationalism Civics on student Atambua junior high school. The technique used by civics teachers in instilling nationalism is to engage students in the class to play drama. Drama prepared by the teacher and played by students. The play contains the living example with berpadomana on Pacasila values, sense of responsibility, nationalism, and self-confidence as a citizen of Indonesia. After the students play the drums, the teacher asks the students to conclude messages and images in the drama. In addition, one of the efforts that teachers do is to always provide various examples of harmony in the lives of diverse ethnic, religious and cultural.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low interest in entrepreneurship of members of the Sukamaju women's farmer group. The purpose of this study was to determine the process of developing the entrepreneurial character of members of the Sukamaju farmer women's group through the application of living values education. The research process uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The subjects in this study were group leaders, members and the surrounding community. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Analysis of the validity of the data consists of data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The method used by farmer women's groups in developing entrepreneurial character is through the application of living values education, appreciation, cooperation and responsibility. The results showed that through the application of living values education carried out by the Sukamaju farmer women's group, they were able to strengthen the entrepreneurial character of their group members. This is evidenced by the behavior and daily activities of the members of the women's farmer group who show entrepreneurial character.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya minat belajar peserta didik yang berdampak pada proses pembelajaran yang kurang optimal, khususnya pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn). Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dalam upaya meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas VII di SMPK Santa Maria Assumpta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan, minat, dan kemampuan peserta didik memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar. Siswa menunjukkan keterlibatan aktif, antusiasme yang lebih tinggi, serta pemahaman materi yang lebih baik. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran berdiferensiasi terbukti efektif sebagai pendekatan yang mampu mendorong partisipasi belajar yang lebih bermakna dalam konteks pembelajaran PPKn di tingkat SMP.

Abstract

This study discusses the function of the Archipelagic Concept as an instrument for preventing conflicts arising from cultural differences in Indonesia. With its multicultural society, characterised by hundreds of ethnic groups and diverse regional languages, Indonesia faces significant challenges in maintaining national unity amid such diversity. Intercultural friction often arises due to differences in value systems, conflicting interests, and a lack of national awareness. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, utilising literature reviews from various relevant legal documents and literature. The findings show that the application of the principles of Wawasan Nusantara, which include national unity, mutual respect, and equitable welfare, can strengthen national cohesion and anticipate cross-cultural conflicts. Recognition of customary legal systems and the application of local values have been shown to increase the credibility of legal institutions while maintaining balance in community life. However, its implementation still faces obstacles such as limited public knowledge of this concept and the impact of globalisation. Therefore, strengthening efforts are needed through an education system that respects diversity and public policies that prioritise the principle of social justice
