Abstract

This research aims to know the marketing channels of Palm Sugar, knowing the functions that areperformed by each agency marketing, and to figure out the most efficient marketing channel in themarketing of Palm sugar from the Village of Cigemblong Sub-District of Cigemblong Regency ofLebak. Areas of research in the specified purpose of the Village Cigemblong and respondents takendone by stratified random marketing agencies with a method and snowball sampling. Manufacturersof as many as 28 people, merchants, merchant 2 collectors big 2 and 19 people retailers. The dataused in the form of primary data and secondary data. This research method using descriptive andquantitative methods. Results of the study showed that there were three Palm sugar marketingchannels is, Channel I : producer – merchant retailers – consumers, marketing Chanel II : producer -Middle-men – wholesalers - merchant retailer – consumer and marketing Chanel III : producer –wholesalers – consumer.

Abstract

The increases of demand for vegetables with more hygienic criteria is getting higher. One of the hydroponic vegetables business actor in South Tangerang City is Hydroponic Koe Garden CV Kelapa Agro Lestari which focuses commodity of oriental vegetables with hydroponic method (Nutrient Film Technique) and without shade of greenhouse in hydroponic cultivation process. The aim of this research are analyzing the profit obtained from oriental vegetables farming and measuring the efficiency level of oriental vegetables farming with NFT hydroponic system without greenhouse shade based on R/C ratio on Hydroponic Koe Garden in Cipayung Village, South Tangerang City, Banten Province. This research was conducted from May to July 2018. The type of this research is quantitative descriptive research. Data analysis method used in this research is the cost structure analysis, profit and efficiency analysis of farming based on R/C ratio. The results of the research showed that although Hydroponic Koe Garden CV Kelapa Agro Lestari producing the same types of vegetables with conventional vegetables such as water spinach, caysim and pakcoy, the business remain profitable and efficient. Based on R/C ratio analysis of hydroponic oriental vegetables in Hydroponic Koe Garden are efficient to run (R/C ratio > 1). The R/C rasio for water spinach, caysim and pakcoy commodity are1,17, 1,07 and 1,22 respectively. Hydroponic pakcoy commodity is the most efficient and profitable commodity to run.

Abstract

Diversifikasi Usahatani merupakan salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan produktifitas usahatani dandapat dilakukan dengan cara horizontal, vertikal. Melalui diversifikasi usahatani maka petani telahmelakukan usaha untuk meminimalkan resiko, dengan cara membagi risiko tunggal denganalternative usahataninya. Salah satu usaha diversifikasi usahatani adalah diversifikasi sistem surjan.Sistem Surjan pada dasarnya merupakan suatu usahatani campuran dari berbagai komoditi yangditanam dalam satu hamparan luas dengan membagi plot tanaman yang berbeda-beda dan dalamwaktu tanam yang sama. Petani telah melakukan diversifikasi usahatani, namun demikianpemanfaatan sumberdayanya belum maksimal. Melalui pengembangan diversifikasi usahatani initanaman padi dikombinasikan dengan ternak ikan ikan lele dalam hamparan sawah yang sama, yangdikenal dengan mina padi. Pengembangan lainnya dengan melakukan kegiatan pascapanen berupaolahan fresh handling sayuran dan fresh cut. Keduanya dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pendapatanpetani. Melalui percobaan yang dilakukan bersama masyarakat Desa Tonjong diperoleh hasil bahwapengembangan diversifikasi melalui usaha mina padi maupun penanganan pascapanen dapatmeningkatkan pendapatan petani.

Abstract

In order to maximize the potential of the region's topography and availability of natural resources, it would be wise to map the agriculture market competency to predict successful productivity odds in agriculture to support and help increase the economy in the province. Research to analyze the competitiveness of food crop agriculture sector in district and cities in Banten Province. Using quantitative research with descriptive methods, a study was done in Banten Province analyzing data with a methodology called the agriculture competitive quotient (ACQ). The study done in 2017, calculated that there are different competitive index scores in the district and cities in Banten Province locations. The position of the highest food crop agriculture competitiveness is in Pandeglang District with a competitive index score of 1.16, making Pandegelang District the most competitive in food crop of agriculture in the province. While the position of the highest food crop agriculture competitiveness is in South Tangerang City, with a competitive index score of 0.75, denoting that South Tangerang City does not have a competitive sector yet in food crop agriculture
