Abstract

The ability to understand concepts is one of the skills that must be mastered by students in mathematics. However, the ability to understand the concepts of MTsN 28 Jakarta students is still relatively low. The existence of the implementation of PTM Limited (PTMP) resulted in learning only being a process of transferring formulas and uploading assignments. Therefore, we need an innovation that can make learning more meaningful. PMRI can be a solution so that students are involved in learning. To overcome time constraints, PMRI can be implemented with the help of the Learning Management System (LMS) application. The purpose of this study was to find out the application of the PMRI approach assisted by the LMS application in improving the ability to understand the concept of Building Flat Sided Spaces in class VIII-2 students of MTsN 28 Jakarta. This study uses a qualitative approach with the type of Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in three cycles. The research subjects observed in the study were 6 students from the upper, middle and lower groups. Data analysis refers to the achievement of indicators of understanding the concept as seen from the results of the research subject's test answers through three stages, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the average test score increased from 69.97 in cycle I, 73.06 in cycle II, and 78.18 in cycle III. Students who reached KKM also experienced an increase, in the final test of cycle I there were 7 people (23.33%), in cycle II it increased to 16 people (50%), and in cycle III again it increased to 23 people (76.67%) . The increase in test scores is also supported by the addition of concept understanding indicator scores. Thus, it can be said that the PMRI approach assisted by the LMS application can improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts.

Abstract

The lack of students' knowledge about ethnic, cultural and religious diversity causes low awareness of the nation and state. Based on the results of the preliminary study it is known that less than 50% of students know ethnicity, culture and religion in Indonesia, 50% of students are not responsive to the presence of followers of other religions in their neighborhood, only 2 out of 8 students give a positive view of religious diversity in Indonesia , and frequent cases related to chauvinism and disciplinary violations. Learning innovations are needed through P5P2RA with the themes of Local Wisdom and Citizenship and Nationality which can make students involved and learn independently. This study aims to foster awareness of nation and state among students. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive method. This research was conducted at MTsN 28 Jakarta for 7 weeks from 5 May – 2 June 2023. The research subjects were 7th grade students, totaling 192 students. Data was collected through observation, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out on the four indicators of national and state awareness. The results showed that the acquisition of the results of the questionnaire on each indicator of national and state awareness reached more than 75% in each class. Likewise, case data related to chauvinism and disciplinary violations has decreased by up to 50% within 3 months after the implementation of P5P2RA. Thus it can be said that P5P2RA with the theme of Local Wisdom and Citizenship and Nationality can foster awareness of the nation and state in MTsN 28 Jakarta students.

Abstract

Digital spaces are often a source of religious learning for students. This phenomenon has positive and negative impacts. Digitalization makes it easier to obtain religious content quickly and widely. However, the rise of hoax content and hate speech in content can result in eroding students' religious moderation attitudes. This research was conducted using a quantitative approach through survey methods to quantitatively describe digital literacy tendencies and attitudes of religious moderation. The case study was conducted on MTsN 28 Jakarta students. The research results found that students' religious digital literacy was in the good category. Students master ICT skills, think creatively and imaginatively, participate in digital spaces, communicate through digital technology media, search and select information, think critically in contributing and analyzing, in line with social and cultural contexts, and ensure security when exploring information, creating, and collaborating with digital technology. Students' religious moderation attitudes are also in the very good category. Students have very good attitudes of national commitment, tolerance, non-violence and accommodating towards culture. Thus, it can be said that religious digital literacy has an impact on students' religious moderation attitudes. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen religious literacy programs in educational institutions through digital media to strengthen students' religious moderation attitudes.

Abstract

Literacy activities carried out at MTsN 28 Jakarta do not accommodate students' abilities in drawing conclusions from reading, writing and speaking. As technology advances, the goals of literacy activities have developed in line with educational goals that lead to 21st century skills, mastery of digital literacy and character. The aim of this research is to determine the forms of development of literacy activities at MTs Negeri 28 Jakarta and their impact on 21st Century skills. This type of research is qualitative research with research subjects totaling 540 people. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation and interviews. Qualitative data was analyzed descriptively using a data analysis technique framework consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The development of literacy activities is said to have an impact if there is an increase in the number or reaches a minimum of 75% of students who are involved and contribute. The results of the research conclude that the form of implementing literacy activities at MTs Negeri 28 Jakarta is carried out by getting into the habit of reading 15 minutes before lessons start, making class media, holding a literacy festival, holding morning literacy performances, preparing short story and poetry anthologies, preparing research proposals, and using the web as a digital literacy medium. The literacy activities carried out can foster 21st Century skills, mastery of digital literacy and character.

Abstract

Cases of bullying in schools continue to increase, some of which even end in very detrimental actions such as physical violence, trauma, or decreased academic achievement. Cases of bullying can occur due to a lack of knowledge about bullying itself. To create schools that are safe from bullying, education is needed, both in the form of learning and anti-bullying projects. The aim of this research is to determine the impact of the P5RA project with the theme Build Your Body and Soul on cases of verbal bullying in schools. This research was conducted on 194 grade 7 students at MTsN 28 Jakarta. This research uses qualitative methods. The data collection technique in this research was carried out in 3 stages, namely the identification stage, follow-up efforts, and monitoring the results of activities. The data collection instruments used by researchers in this research were tests, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The results of the research showed an increase in the percentage of each indicator of the bullying understanding test to more than 75%. Apart from that, there was a decrease in the percentage of students who were bullies, experienced verbal bullying, bullied in class, and an increase in the percentage of students who felt safe at school, had an empathetic attitude, rejected bullying, and reported cases of bullying. Thus, it can be said that the P5RA project with the theme Build Your Body and Soul can overcome and prevent cases of bullying in schools.
