Abstract

This research about culinary creativity development was conducted in Depok City, West Java. Depok is a metropolitan city located near Jakarta, capital city of Indonesia. Depok has various local culinary that not known well yet. Whereas previous study shows that culinary is one of emerging tourism attractions. This research aim to describe dan propose strategy to develop culinary creativity in Depok City, and can attract tourist to visit and taste local culinary in Depok. Using interview and observation, research conducted on August 2019- January 2020. It was found that Depok City has potential in culinary and need to be improved using the mapping method of the culinary ecosystem. Depok has been applying creativity in creating attractive culinary experience, but chef competencies is need to be improved. This creativity must be completed with good promotion and publication, culinary events that held routinely and in a large scale,archiving and documentation, and prioritize traditional Indonesian cuisines. Abstract

Virus corona merupakan pandemi yang mudah menyebar secara contagious. Karena itu, banyak pemimpin yang menghimbau warganya untuk melakukan social distancing dan isolasi untuk mencegah penularan virus penyakit ini. Dalam jaringan sosial, banyak hal dapat menyebar secara contagious, termasuk virus. Dan cara untuk mencegah penyebaran makin luas adalah dengan menjalani peran sebagai isolate dalam jaringan sosial. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa jaringan sosial tanpa peran isolate memiliki ties dan kepadatan tinggi sehingga banyak peluang virus untuk menyebar pada anggota jaringan. Sedangkan jaringan sosial di mana banyak anggotanya melakukan isolasi memiliki ties lebih sedikit serta kepadatan rendah yang membuat peluang penyebaran virus antar anggota jaringan melalui ties menjadi lebih rendah.Kata kunci: virus corona, jaringan, isolate, penyebaran contagious

Abstract

Kohesi sangat terkait dengan konsep density dalam jaringan sosial. Mekanisme kohesi lazimnya terjadi pada jaringan yang padat/dense di mana para anggotanya memiliki kontak yang sering dan berulang/redundan. Kontak seperti ini menyebabkan perilaku dapat mudah menyebar secara contagious dan diimitasi oleh anggota jaringan secara kohesif. Objek penelitian ini adalah siswa sekolah menengah di sebuah asrama, yang terhubung dalam jaringan bullying. Para siswa ini memiliki kontak yang sering dan berulang, namun jaringan bullying mereka bukan merupakan jaringan yang padat melainkan renggang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyebaran perilaku secara kohesi pun dapat terjadi pada jaringan yang renggang. Selain density, faktor yang turut mempengaruhi penyebaran perilaku bullying secara kohesif ialah frekuensi dan multiplexity. Cohesion is closely related with density in social network. Cohesion mechanism normally happens in a dense network where its members make redundant and frequent contacts. This kind of contact allows certain behavior to easily spread like a contagion and is imitated by the network members cohesively. Objects of this study are high school students in a dormitory that belong to a bullying network. These students have a frequent, redundant contact while their bullying network is not dense but sparse. The study discloses that a bevahior can spread cohesively, even in a sparse bullying network. Besides density, other factors that influence the spread of bullying behavior cohesively are frequency and multiplexity.

Abstract

In the covid-19 global pandemic era, many countries apply restriction for many offline activities in order to prevent virus spread. This affected many business and force them to go online. Every business have to adapt and adopt technology within this pandemic situation. One of the business whose product demand are increasing, is a medical supplier company. But this increase not only in the matter of demand, but also competitor and product variation. Existing company should run digital transformation to secure and expand their position on the market. This paper explain digital marketing communication strategies which conducted by medical supplier company in covid-19 pandemic era. The company make use of some platform for the initial digital marketing strategy, such as social media activation, company website, and e-commerce. Result shows that digital marketing plays important role for product sales escalation. Company can promote their business and establish customer relationship through various digital channel. However, e-commerce strategy seems more challenging for medical supplier company. This paper could help other business to determine their suitable digital marketing communication strategy.

Abstract

Interactivity is among the powerful characteristic that differ social media with another kind of conventional media. Social media can facilitate any kind of communication practice, including political communication. Political communication highly needs the use of media to obtain their objectives, specifically for politician to persuade voters to choose them on election. This study aim to discover the social media strategy used by Indonesia president candidates 2024. Using internet research dan observation, Instagram feeds posts from three candidates’s account were collected and analyzed, during the start of campaign period – November 28TH  2023, until the article was written. Several aspects were assessed, including communication style, consistency, and four levels of political marketing strategy. Result shows that consistency in scheduling, writing caption, and choosing hashtag didn’t directly affect social media engagement, such as like and comment. All President Candidates manage their social media to communicate and persuade their audience or voters, but didn’t utilize the interactivity to reply the comment or build conversation via Instagram feeds. Another findings show that Instagram comment section were dominated by both fans/followers and political buzzers that interactively building conversation. Further research should be done to assess another platform and another type of political marketing content.
