Abstract

The development of the halal economy comes from global Muslim consumers who indeed live a halal lifestyle. A halal lifestyle that includes the food they eat, about pharmacy and medicine, body care, cosmetics, banking services, travel, education, entertainment, and so on. In fact, the value of halal globally is estimated at US $ 2.1 trillion per year. The issue of halal cosmetics began to develop precisely after the rapid progress of the food and financial industry in accordance with Islamic principles. The development of halal cosmetics is so rapid at this time a product that is very steal the attention of women. This study aims to examine the impact of the level of knowledge and religiosity on one's intention or intention to buy halal cosmetic products. This study uses a survey method with an instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The questionnaire will be distributed to various regions throughout Indonesia. Respondents in this study were women in the age range of 18-25 years with consideration of having an understanding and being able to buy cosmetic products. This research was previously tested for validity and reliability. The results of the study stated that knowledge is an important factor in one's intention in purchasing halal cosmetic products. while, the influence of religiosity is positive but not significant which means there is no influence which means that a person has a high or low level of religiousness on his desire to buy halal cosmetic products.

Abstract

This empirical test aims to estimate the beta parameters of the risk premium and other risk factors and compare the performance of the single-index model, Fama and Frech three and five-factor models. The sample used as the study object is companies in the property and real estate subsector with data collected from datastream Thomson Reuters from January 2014 to December 2018. The results are consistent with the previous studies that asset pricing using the Fama and French five-factor model can better explain stock returns than the other two models. The property and real estate subsector seems to provide a positive and statistically significant abnormal return, indicating that asset pricing with the three models is irrelevant to Indonesia. These results suggest that the stock market in Indonesia is still inefficient.

Abstract

This study finds empirical evidence of a significant negative relationship between religiosity dimension and Muslim women’s behavior toward fashion in Indonesia. This study uses a survey method utilizing questionnaires that were distributed to some universities in Jakarta and West Java. Using a purposive sampling technique, the collected data are 165 questionnaires. The measurement variables of religiosity dimensions in this study are adapted from Glock (1972) and consist of five different dimensions including ideology, intellectual, ritualistic, experiential, and consequential. The measurement of Muslim women’s behavior toward fashion is adapted from Farrag and Hassan (2015). All collected questionnaires are analyzed using the Pearson correlation test. The relationship is around 15% - 29%. Ideological and ritualistic dimensions have a strong negative correlation (29%), consequential (28%), intellectual (23%) and experiential (15%).Keywords: religiosity, religiosity dimensions, Muslim women’s behavior, fashion.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Internal Factor and External Factor on Profitability on Profitability in Islamic Banking listed in Indonesia Central Bank and Financial Service Authority (OJK) . In this study, the explanatory method is used to explain the influence between the independent variables namely Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), Inflation, and Exchange Rate on the dependent variable, namely Retiurn on Asset (ROA) and explain the relationship between variables. The population in this study is islamic banking listed on the Indonesia Central Bank and Financial Service Authority for the period 2013-2017. Sample selection through purposive sampling method. There are 11 companies that meet the criteria as research samples, so the research data amount is 220 data. Data collection techniques carried out were document review, data reviewed were quarterly financial reports, transaction data of Indonesia Central Bank, previous research journals and other literature related to research problems. Processing and data analysis techniques include financial management analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, classic assumption test, hypothesis testing, coefficient of determination test and multiple correlation coefficient test. The results of the study show that partially CAR and Inflation variables have a positive and significant influence on ROA. Meanwhile, FDR variable have a negative and signifikan influence on ROA. This shows that the higher FDR, the smaller ROA. The other way around, the smaller FDR, the higher ROA. On the other side, Exchange Rate partially have no signifikan infuence on ROA. Meanwhile, simultaneously research results shows that CAR, FDR, Inflation, and Exchange Rate have a positive and significant effect on ROA. Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to overcome the problem related to the operational funding needs of an orphanage by creating a small creative industry through the making of screen printing graphic art. The problem arises because the funding source of an orphanage is highly dependent on various sources of social grants that are not fixed so that it is prone to face financial difficulties if the budget expenditure is greater than the source of incoming funds. The solution to solve this problem is to increase economic independence by empowering the youth of the orphanage through the provision of screen printing skills manually. Methods in the implementation of this activity include; pre-implementation phase, implementation phase, and post-implementation phase. Through training and assistance in making screen printing is expected to create economic independence for the orphanage, increase the creativity and can be provision of entrepreneurship for the youth of the orphanage.

Abstract

Sebagai lembaga pendidikan pada jenjang menengah, SMA Muhammadiyah 4 memiliki peran penting untuk melakukan pemetaan potensi unggul peserta didiknya. Pada jenjang ini, mereka diharapkan telah menyelesaikan pengenalan minat dan bakatnya dalam bidang tertentu sehingga dapat fokus memilih program studi yang sesuai dengan minat dan bakat mereka masing-masing. Memiliki target yang jelas akan membuat siswa lebih termotivasi untuk mengoptimalkan nilai akademiknya sebagai persiapan menuju program studi yang diminati. Untuk itu, sekolah memerlukan pemetaan potensi unggul agar mampu mencapai visi dan misi yang sudah ditetapkan sekolah. Melalui test minat dan bakat serta seminar yang diselenggarakan oleh tim dosen FEB-UHAMKA dalam rangka pengabdian melalui program kemitraan masyarakat diharapkan dapat membantu pihak sekolah untuk melakukan pemetaan ini. Pemetaan potensi unggul dilakukan untuk menyiapkan sumber daya manusia yang unggul karena memiliki expertise di bidang spesifiknya masing-masing. Tanpa pemetaan, sekolah adalah expenses atau biaya yang akan hilang begitu saja. Sebaliknya, dengan melakukan talent mapping, sekolah akan menjadi investasi yang memberikan manfaat baik bagi individu itu sendiri maupun bagi lingkungan yang lebih luas lagi. Abstract

Investasi di pasar modal syariah mengalami perkembangan seiring kesadaran masyarakat Muslim Indonesia untuk berinvestasi secara halal. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk menginvestigasi pengaruh investasi pada pasar modal syariah yang meliputi saham syariah, reksa dana syariah, dan sukuk terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia. Sampel data yang digunakan yaitu data time series dengan frekuensi triwulanan dari nilai saham syariah, sukuk, dan reksa dana syariah dan pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia tahun 2011 sampai 2021. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan menggunakan metode estimasi Ordinary Least Square (OLS). Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa saham syariah dan sukuk memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia sedangkan reksa dana syariah ditemukan tidak signifikan. Serta secara simultan, ketiga komponen pasar modal syariah ini memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia. Sebagai implikasi penelitian, pemerintah diharapkan dapat turut memberikan perhatian untuk mengembangkan pasar modal syariah terkait regulasi dan infrastrukturnya karena turut berkontribusi terhadap perekonomian Indonesia.

Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh growth opportunity dan net working capital terhadap cash holding pada perusahaan industri barang konsumsi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2020-2023. Metodologi: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan data sekunder dari laporan keuangan tahunan yang dianalisis menggunakan data panel. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dan jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 34 perusahaan. Temuan: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa growth opportunity berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap cash holding. Sedangkan, net working capital berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap cash holding. Orisinalitas: Penelitian ini berfokus pada perusahaan industri barang konsumsi yang terdaftar di BEI periode 2020-2023. Keterbatasan Penelitian: Terdapat beberapa data laporan keuangan perusahaan yang tidak dapat diakses sehingga tidak bisa dimasukkan ke dalam sampel penelitian yang menyebabkan jumlah sampel data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menjadi terbatas. Selain itu, penelitian ini hanya fokus memeriksa pengaruh growth opportunity dan net working capital terhadap cash holding pada sektor industri barang konsumsi. Implikasi Praktis: Perusahaan industri barang konsumsi diharapkan mempertahankan jumlah kas yang optimal sehingga dapat menyeimbangkan kebutuhan untuk mendukung peluang di masa depan dengan memastikan kelancaran operasional sehari-hari.
