Abstract

Latar belakang: Mahasiswa profesi keperawatan wajib memiliki keahlian dalam melakukan tindakan keterampilan keperawatan berupa pemeriksaan fisik pada beberapa sistem oragn di tubuh manusia. Saat mahasiswa melakukan praktik keperawatan klinis di rumah sakit, masih banyak ditemukan bahwa mahasiswa belum mampu sepenuhnya melakukan tindakan pemeriksaan fisik secara baik dan tepat. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku modul clinical skill keperawatan medikal bedah sekaligus mengukur keefektifan buku modul tersebut terhadap keterampilan mahasiswa profesi Ners. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini pre-experimental design yaitu one-shot case study dengan pendekatan Research and Development yaitu dengan tujuan menciptakan sebuah produk. Perhitungan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling dengan melibatkan seluruh mahasiswa profesi perawat di sebuah Lembaga Pendidikan di sebuah Kabupaten di Jawa Tengah sebanyak 114 mahasiswa sebagai responden. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Maret s.d Juli 2019. Variabel independent pada penelitian ini adalah buku modul clinical skill keperawatan medikal bedah, sedangkan nilai kelulusan uji praktik pemeriksaan fisik sebagai variabel dependent. Hasil: Rata-rata nilai uji pemeriksaan fisik (posttest) pada kelompok intervensi seluruh responden adalah 86,49 dan kelompok kontrol 78,77. Saran: Penggunaaan buku modul clinical skill keperawatan medikal bedah dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mahasiswa perawat atau perawat klinis di dalam melakukan tindakan pemeriksaan fisik. Kata Kunci: Keperawatan Medikal Bedah, modul clinical skill, mahasiswa perawat

Abstract

The emergence of COVID-19 pandemic is one of the major concerns among pesantren. PAYD (The Orphanage and the poor) Muhammadiyah Gombong is an orphanage with a semi-pesantren system that focuses on memorizing the Qur'an. Lack of socialization in efforts to prevent COVID transmission from health workers among Islamic boarding schools of PAYD. Objective: Finding out the level of knowledge about COVID-19 in adolescent students in PAYD Muhammadiyah Gombong. Method: The lecture and discussion method used by prioritizing the Student Learning Center. A total of 29 (twenty-nine) male students participated as respondents (total sampling). With the pre-post and post-test, knowledge assessment used a questionnaire. Results: Most of the respondents' aged group ≤14 were 11 respondents (37.9%), 17 respondents with junior high school education category (58.6%), followed 10 respondents by high school / vocational education level (34.5%), then 2 respondents from College level (6.9%) Respondents got the information about Covid-19 through the internet 17 respondents (58.6%) As many as 24 respondents have a good level of knowledge about Covid-19 (82.8%), and as many as 5 respondents with a sufficient category (17.2%) Conclusions: The level of PAYD students knowledge about Covid-19 is dominated by good categories.

Abstract

This result with paired t-test showed a significant increase in learning [pre-test (6,31.62), post-test (9.20.84), p <0.001). the increase in mean scores after attending online course was significant (p <0.001). there was no difference in learning (p = 0.482) after observation. The simulation results were carried out after course: check response (90.2%), exposed chest (93.1%), checked for pulse (93.1%), checked for breathing (87.2%), called emergency services (72.5%), use a defibrillator (86.2%), correct hand position (82.4%), perform chest compressions (92.4%), perform compressions of at least 2 inch (82.4%), full recoil (89.2%), provide ventilation (94.1%), use AED (84.3%), and positioned the pads (89.2%). BLS course conducted online is an alternative course and effective method to provide knowledge and skills, where students continue to accurately implement BLS actions
