Abstract

The research was done in Kelurahan Kauman Kidul, Kecamatan Sidorejo, Kota salatiga, from February until June 2008, the type of soil is Latosol, the altitude is 525 metere above sea level. This research was arranged in Split-plot Design. Kinds of varieties as main plot concisted of 3 levelsPepe, Sintanur and IR 64, and dosages of NPK fertilizer as sub plot consisted 4 levels0 kg/ha, 200 kg/ha, 250 kg/ha and 300 kg/ha. In this research Urea.fertilizer was still used 200 kg/ha .The datas were analyzed using analysis variance and Least Significant Difference of 5% level. The research showed that kinds of varieties influenced .significant to high of plant, total amount of bough, amount of productive bough, dry shel of rice plant, dry shel of rice milled weight per sample, but not significant to weight of fresh straw and dry straw, dry shel of rice weight per plot, and weight of 1000 seeds. Dosages of NPR" fertilizer influenced significant to high of plant, total amount of bough, weight of fresh and (by straw, weight of dry shell per sample and per plot, weight of dry rice milled per sample and per plot and weight of 1000 seeds. Combined effect from two treatments was significant to weight of dry shell milled per sample and per plot, and not sifnificant to other parameters. The highest yield from this research is6,417 ton/ha from treatment IR 64 variety and 300 kg/ha dosage NPK fertilizer, but statistically not significant different from treatment with Sintanur or Pepe varieties and dosage fertilizer is 250 kg/ha. From economics analysis knows that using sintanur and Pepe varieties with dosage fertilizer 250 kg/ha is more profit than IR 64.

Abstract

The Effect of extraction methode and concentration Of tobacco leaf extract for the Aphis pest (Aphis craccivora Koch) on yard long bean (Vigna Sinensis). This research was carried out at Bergas Kidul village, Bergas District, Semarang Regency with altitude 450 500 meter above the sea level. The aim of this research is to know the effect of extraction methode and concentration of tobacco leaf extract for the Aphis pest (Aphis craccivora Koch) on yard long bean (Vigna sinensis L). The research used the factorial experiment (2 x 5) with randomized completly design (RCD) in three replication. First factor; extraction methode of tobacco leaf: be boiled and be blended. Second la ctor; concentration : 0, 10, 20, 30, 40 ml / litre solution. The result of research showed that extraction methode of tobacco leaf non significant on the numbers of aphis pest, allact intensity of aphis, fresh weight of crown, dry weight of crown, numbers of pod yard long bean, weight of pod yard long bean, numbers of young pod yard long bean, weight of young pod yard long bean. Also that combination extraction-methode of tobacco leaf and concentration non significant on all parameter. Even though concentration of tobacco leaf extract significant for all parameters. The concentration of 10-30 ml / litre can control the aphis pest at yard long bean.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of inoculation of Rhizoctonia Binukleat (BNR) and watering variation. This study used a factorial completely randomized design consisting of 2 treatments inoculated with Rhizoctonia binucleic fungi. And not inoculated, the second factor of the watering interval is that every (1, 5, 10, 15) days, there are 8 treatment combinations, each treatment is repeated 3 times. The results showed that 1). Inoculation of R binucleic and watering time interval had no significant effect on soil N content but had significant effect on soil P level that was able to increase P level of soil, 2). Rinukleat inoculation R and watering time interval significantly affect plant height, leaf number and fresh weight of stover 3). Inoculation of R binucleic acid can increase plant height, leaf number and fresh weight, 4). The combination of inoculation of R binucleic and watering time interval did not give real interaction to soil N and P as well as to plant height, leaf number and weight of fresh stover.
