Abstract

ABSTRACT Bogor Botanical Garden (BBG) is one of many important assets of Indonesia. It has very wide range of botanical collection that have high scientific values. Up to present there are only line maps available to visualize the BBG, and none of them available in the form of image maps yet. To completely and clearly present the information of the BBG, a satellite remote sensing IKONOS imagery is required to visualize the thematic geospatial information on a map at the scale of 1:5.000. The aim of the research project is to visualize the thematic geospatial information of the scientific botanical garden on a 1:5.000 scale image map.Data of thematic geospatial information of the scientific botanical garden were collected from the old maps of the BBG and the catalogues of the Indonesian Institution of Sciences. Other data of line maps and IKONOS imageries were processed in a series of phases i.e. geometric correction, determination of the 321 band, data editing and updating, and cartographic designs in one and two levels, including the distribution of questionnaires to test the design out and get the feed back from the respondents.Result of the visualization is considered substantially sufficient, cartographically correct and complete at scale of 1:5.000, and aesthetically interesting in terms of tourism due to the acceptance of the entire 30 designed image symbols. Key words : bambu visualization, image map, bogor botanical garden, cartography, ikonos imagery.

Abstract

The research to find out the effect of Beauveria bassiana dose, organicpesticide dose and interaction of Beauveria bassiana with organic pesticide onthe percentage pest attack of berries borer coffee. This study was conducted inCoffee Garden in Kalibening Village of Kebondalem Village of Jambu SubDistrict of Semarang Regency. By using a factorial completely random groupdesign method with two factors. The first factor was the dose of Beauveriabassiana organic controlling agent (A), administration consisting of : A0 =without treatment; A1 = 1 kg/Ha; A2 = 2 kg/Ha; A3 = 3 kg/Ha. The second factorwas the dose of organic pesticide (T) administration consisting of : T1 = 100ml/Ha; T2 = 200 ml/Ha; T3 = 300 ml/Ha. The result showed that the interaction ofBeauveria bassiana dose and organic pesticide dose treatments affectedsignificantly, the lowest percentage of attack occurred in the combination of A3T2treatment as 0,38 % with the Beauveria bassiana dose of 3 kg/ha and the organicpesticide dose of 200 ml/Ha.

Abstract

Gunung adalah bentuklahan besar yang membentang di atas tanah sekitarnya, berada di wilayah yang terbatas biasanya dalam bentuk puncaknya, ketinggian tinggi di pegunungan menghasilkan iklim dingin daripada di permukaan laut, gunung di karakteristik oleh sejumlah parameter yaitu ketinggian, volume, relief, kecuraman, jarak dan kontinuitas. Iklim dingin sangat mempengaruhi ekosistem pegunungan: ketinggian yang berbeda memiliki tanaman yang berbeda dan hewan. Karena medan yang kurang ramah dan iklim, pegunungan cenderung digunakan untuk ekstraksi sumber daya dan rekreasi, seperti mendaki gunung. Parameter lingkungan memiliki fungsi dan pengaruh terhadap kehidupan komunitas. Data penginderaan jauh dapat ditransformasi menjadi nilai temperatur, tahapan transformasinya nilai dijital diubah menjadi radians kemudian dikonversi menjadi temperatur. Perlu dilakukan koreksi radiometrik, agar representasi nilai temperatur sesuai dengan kondisi sebenenarnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan data Landssat ETM+, hasilnya menunjukkan kisaran rata-rata temperatur di puncak Taman Nasional Gunung Pangrango pada siang hari 15,92oC dan kecenderungan perubahan temperatur terhadap tinggi di lokasi penelitian adalah linier.
