Abstract

This research was conducted at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) Study Program, Pattimura University. During the new normal period (Pandemic Covid-19), Pattimura University implemented an online learning process in all Faculties, at the Teaching and Education Faculty, especially the PPKn Study Program, online learning became a separate obstacle for PPKn Lecturers in providing learning information due to college students inactive and inadequate focus during the learning process. In an effort to ensure that the online learning process can continue to be carried out well, this research was conducted. This study aims to implement an effective online learning evaluation to determine the level of understanding of PPKn college students in receiving course material. In this research, the online learning evaluation system implemented includes: (a) learning journals as college students evaluation materials in reviewing the material presented, (b) case studies as a way of thinking of college students in expressing opinions related to issues that occur in society, (c) film review articles as a form of creativity, knowledge to hone college students writing skills, (d) teaching simulation as a method to develop college student teaching skills as prospective educators. The research method used is descriptive qualitative to describe the alternative solution to the problem of learning evaluation. The results showed that the implementation of online learning evaluation can make it easier for lecturers to assess the extent of the success of the implementation of online learning in the PPKn Study Program, especially during the Pandemic Covid-19.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of integrating Civics Education and Religious Education materials in enhancing students' understanding of citizenship concepts and moral values. The study involves detailing the number of students and the demographic information of two groups of 10th-grade students from three well-accredited high schools in Ambon City, with each group consisting of 35 students: one experimental group and one control group. Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests, classroom observations, and questionnaires. The research results indicate that the experimental group experienced an increase in average scores from 60 to 85, while the control group only increased from 60 to 70. Paired t-test analyses showed that this increase was statistically significant, with t-values of 3.34 for the experimental group and 2.10 for the control group, both groups having a significance level smaller than 0.05. Observations and questionnaires also revealed that students in the experimental group were more active in classroom discussions and exhibited a more positive attitude toward the material taught. These findings affirm that the integration of civics and Religious Education materials can significantly enhance students' understanding, attitudes, and behaviors regarding moral values and citizenship. This research underscores the significant impact of integrating Civics and Religious Education on enhancing students' understanding of citizenship and moral values. It contributes to the existing literature by providing empirical evidence and emphasizing the necessity of comprehensive teacher training to effectively implement holistic curricula. The implications of this study highlight the need for adequate teacher preparation and ongoing evaluation to ensure successful curriculum integration, positioning this approach as an effective strategy in moral education to shape a younger generation with integrity and responsibility.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konflik internal terkait perebutan hak kepemimpinan tradisional (mata rumah parentah) antara kelompok keturunan Hulan Lesi dan Marayase di Negeri Ureng, Kabupaten Maluku Tengah, melalui perspektif Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Pemilihan subjek penelitian dilakukan secara sengaja melalui teknik snowball sampling, yang melibatkan Penjabat Negeri, Saniri Negeri, tokoh adat, tokoh agama, tokoh masyarakat, serta warga setempat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa akar konflik bersumber dari perbedaan klaim historis dan legitimasi silsilah patrilineal yang telah berlangsung sejak masa kolonial Belanda tahun 1932. Konflik dipicu oleh penunjukan pejabat sementara dari luar garis keturunan sah. Dampak dari sengketa ini memicu perpecahan sosial di masyarakat serta menghambat jalannya roda pemerintahan adat akibat kekosongan jabatan raja definitif selama kurang lebih lima tahun. Upaya penyelesaian masalah dilakukan melalui kombinasi dua pendekatan utama, yaitu musyawarah adat bersama Saniri Negeri dan penempuhan jalur hukum formal di pengadilan. Kajian ini menyimpulkan bahwa dalam perspektif Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan, penyelesaian ketegangan adat memerlukan penguatan kesadaran hukum dan karakter warga negara yang berbasis pada nilai Pancasila agar masyarakat mampu mengelola perbedaan sosial secara damai demi menjaga integrasi komunitas adat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penguatan civic culture dalam pengembangan pariwisata berbasis masyarakat lokal di Pantai Air Babunyi, Desa Leksula, Kabupaten Buru Selatan. Permasalahan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah pentingnya kontribusi nilai kewarganegaraan dalam menjaga keberlanjutan destinasi wisata lokal. Studi ini menerapkan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif guna mengeksplorasi secara mendalam kesadaran, partisipasi aktif, serta kerja sama masyarakat dalam pengelolaan potensi wisata. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung, dan studi dokumentasi, yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan reduksi data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa civic culture yang tercermin melalui partisipasi sosial, tradisi gotong royong, dan tanggung jawab lingkungan memegang peran sentral dalam keberlanjutan pengembangan pariwisata daerah. Keterlibatan aktif ini berhasil mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal ke dalam manajemen destinasi modern. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penguatan budaya kewarganegaraan menjadi faktor krusial dalam mendukung pembangunan pariwisata yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan bagi masyarakat. Implementasi civic culture yang kuat terbukti mampu memberdayakan ekonomi komunitas lokal secara mandiri, sekaligus meminimalkan dampak negatif komersialisasi terhadap kelestarian ekosistem alam di Desa Leksula.
