Abstract

Kedatangan etnis Tionghoa di Indonesia telah sejaklama mendahului kedatangan orang-orang Belanda.Pasca kemerdekaan Indonesia pemerintah mengeluarkan beberapa kebijakan yang berpengaruh terhadap pola hidup etnis tionghoa di Indonesia khususnya pada bidang politik, ekonomi dan sosial-budaya.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh kebijakan pemerintah Indonesia terhadap etnis Tionghoa pada bidang politik, ekonomi dan sosial-budaya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kajian dokumen, maupun artikel dalam bentuk jurnal, berita, buku. Fokus dalam penelitian ini adalah kebijakan pemerintah pasca kemerdekaan terhadap pola hidup etnis Tionghoa dalam bidang politik, ekonomi dan sosial-budaya. Dari hasil penelitan dan pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan yang diterapkan terhadap pola hidup etnis Tinonghoa mulai dari orde lama, orde baru, sampai reformasi berangsung membaik dengan menghapuskan diskriminasi terhadap masyarakat Tionghoa dalam segala bidang kehidupan. Abstract

Abstract: This study is based on the phenomena encountered during pre-research which showed that student learning discipline was low during online learning and also student responses regarding the contributions made by Civics teachers in terms of disciplining student learning at SMPN 6 Singingi Hilir. The formulation of the problem in this study is how students' perceptions of the role of PPKn teachers in improving student learning discipline at SMPN6 Singingi Hilir. The purpose of the study was to see how students perceive the role of Civics Education teachers in improving student learning discipline at SMPN 6 Singingi Hilir. The benefits of this research are expected to help become a source of knowledge and contribute to the world of education related to writing scientific papers about the role of Civics teachers in student learning disciplines. This type of research is descriptive quantitative, with the instrument of data collection using a questionnaire. The population of this research is the whole students of SMPN 6 Singingi Hilir, totaling 147 people, with a sample of 25% of the total population to 37 respondents using simple random sampling technique. From the results of the study, it was concluded that students' perceptions of the role of PPKn teachers in improving student discipline at SMPN 6 Singingi Hilir were in the "Very Good" category. This is in accordance with the results of respondents who answered "Very Often" amounted to 43.08% plus respondents who answered "Often" amounted to 37.1% with a result of 80.18%, where this range is in the Very Good category. Therefore, it can be concluded that students' perceptions of the role of Civics Education teachers in improving student discipline at SMP Negeri 6 Singingi Hilir are "Very Good".Key Words : Study, Perception, Role, Civics Teacher, Learning Discipline
