Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of scientific literature related to digital da'wah through social media using a bibliometric approach. Data were retrieved from the Dimensions database with the keywords “Da'wah AND Digital” for the period 2017-2024, resulting in 400 documents that were analyzed based on the number of publications, citations, affiliations, and thematic trends. The results showed that scholarly literacy on digital da'wah grew significantly with an average annual growth rate of 75.36%, reaching a peak in 2023 before declining in 2024. Publications are dominated by contributions from Indonesia, with international collaboration still low. Thematic analysis shows that “digital media da'wah” is a highly relevant but less dynamic Basic Themes, while “da'wah and social media” is a rapidly growing Motor Themes. This research confirms the importance of digital da'wah as a strategic topic with great potential for global development, although international collaboration and exploration of new themes need to be improved.
