Abstract

PT Bukit Asam (Persero), Tbk as the one of STATE-OWNED company under the Ministry of Energy and Mining was the main manufacture of coal mining industry in Indonesia, located at Tanjung Enim, South Sumatera. There are three sites in PTBA mining permit area, Tambang Air Laya, Muara Tiga Besar, and Banko Barat. On the site of Tambang Air Laya will planned an expansion of the pit area and build a new Lingkar Townsite road for fluency mobilization. There are several problems have been founded to build a roads in Lingkar Townsite road, such as the unknown value of basic soil density and physical properties of soil layers, and also there is a weak point of the road beause there is a former swamp that directly closed without throwing away the mud first such as STA point 200, 300, 400, 600, 700, 800, 900, 1100, 1300, and 1400.To solving those problems is done by testing the density of the soil with the Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) and the California Bearing Ratio (CBR). And also physical properties testing such as atterberge, paraffin wax density, water content, and grain size is done with. In addition to direct the testing in field, the testing is also done as a light compaction test in labor as an order to guidelines doing compaction for the road. On the compaction for the road there are three stages of compactions work that is basic layers compaction, bottom binders layer, and top binders layer.Based on basic soil hardness test the result values of CBR test are 6.56 %, 3.98 %, 5.29%, 3.96%, 3.86%, 5.63% , 8.90%, 6.74%, 5.48% , 5.73%, 5.61%. The type of soil at Lingkar Townsite relocation road is loam soil and silty soil. Many Compactor track doing soil compaction, for compacting Basecose B is 11 tracks and for Basecose A is 10 tracks. After doing the compation will get the value of final road. After doing the compaction the result values pf CBR are 14.7% , 72.69%, 58.39%, 35.00%, 36.78%, 21.85%, 31.69%, 51.31%, 27.21%, 13.43%.Keywords : Road compaction, Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP), and CaliforniaBearing Ratio (CBR)

Abstract

PT. Semen Padang has 4 units of crushing plant there are crusher II, IIIA,IIIB, and VI. Production of limestone crusher in April 2017 is 692,755 tons, while thetarget of limestone crusher production is 804,749 tons so the target of limestonecrusher production in PT. Semen Padang in April 2017 was not achieved. This iscaused of the target crusher working hours are not achieved, frequent improvementsin the crusher, and the change of usage belt conveyor lines. The purpose of thisresearch is to get the performance value of crushing plant and belt conveyor, get theproduction capacity of belt conveyor, reveal the ideal crusher working system so wecan get the ideal limestone crusher production.This research was combined between theory with field data, then we can getthe problem solving approach, and the result of data processing will be analyzed forsubsequent to be generated a recommendation.Based on the research result can be concluded. First, the performance ofcrushing plant and belt conveyor is not optimal because the work efficiency oflimestone crusher II is 26,20%, crusher IIIA is 21,54%, and crusher IIIB is 28,33%.Second, the minimum production capacity of the belt conveyor is 1,409.7 tons/hour.Third, the ideal crusher working hours is 672 hours in a month so that the productionof limestone crusher 810,992 tons in a month.

Abstract

Mining activities conducted in PTBA is directed to undertake the mining environmentally.Mining activities conducted include exploration, land clearing, stripping topsoil, excavation ofoverburden ,coal mining, transporting, processing and marketing of coal. Reclamation is theactivities that are performed throughout the stages of the mining effort to organize, restore, andimprove the quality of the environment and the ecosystem to function returns appropriateallocation. The success of reclamation activities according to Regulations the Minister ofMineral Resources number 07 2014 covering the activities of the arrangement of land, thepromised land of tops (top soil), water management and erosion control, revegetation and theprevention and mitigation of acid mine water. All activities on the reclamation process aboverequires considerable cost and its implementation should be planned so that the cost have to beeffective and efficient.Technical planning of reclamation on the outside dump Mahayung 2015 designed byrearranging the land by using the method of encapsulation, perform the promised land of tops toimmediately do revegetasi, make and take care of the channel that is in a outside dump ofMahayung to prevent erosion and maintain the water and add to the compartment on a pool ofMud and Precipitator liming regularly to prevent the occurrence of acid mine water. The cost forthe reclamation activities at the outside dump of Mahayung is the total cost of reclamationconsists of two that is direct costs and indirect costs. Direct costs for reclaiming the year 2015amount Rp 39.565.434.558,- and indirect costs Rp 3.758.716.283,- Then the total cost ofreclaiming the year 2015 amount to Rp 43.324.150.841
