Abstract

PT. Bukit Asam (Persero), Tbk has produced coal used by various parties, the greater the market demand  for coal use trigger PT. BA to increase target production per year. The target of coal production at Tambang Air Laya Barat in 2017 is 3,500,000 Ton of coal and 20,750,000 BCM overburden. The year 2018 increased to 5,500,000 Ton and 33,000,000 BCM overburden. Based on current conditions the company needs to consider design pit options for the year 2018. Determination target production per month, the number of units that work, as well as the profits to be gained. Result reserve design pit of Tambang Air Laya Barat 2018 obtained 5,639,178 Ton of coal and 32,764,431 BCM overburden with stripping ratio 1:5,81 and recovery 90%. The target production plan is determined based on the capability of the main mining equipment each month. The main fleet allocation for mine for January uses 5 fleets coal and 12 fleets overburden, February 4 fleets coal and 12 fleets overburden, March 4 fleets for coal and 12 fleets for overburden, allocated for April - December equals such as January. Overall cost for coal sales Rp. 7.403.987.221.897,  overburden stripping Rp. 1.285.969.138.002 and  coal  production  Rp. 97.182.467.072, so the profit  to be obtained from mining proceeds for the year 2018  Rp. 6,020,835,616,822, so mining is worth doing feasible. Need to be studied further by considering costs such as coal processing, port transportation, employee salary so that net profit can be obtained.Keywords: Design Pit, Target Production, Overburden, Coal, Profits

Abstract

Abstract This research start from the condition in the field in PT. Karbindo Abesyapradhi, where the heavy equipment damage to often, it make production target never reach.   To reach the target, is important to buy some new heavy equipment, but it can make some problem about the cost of investment. There are 3 option to buy some new heavy equipment, one of the option will be a best option and can make the company get profit. For this problem the writer make this research, to know the best alternative to the company.In this research the writer use quantitative research method and also use descriptive method. From this reseach we will know comparation from each option. Sample will represent all of heavy equipment of PT. Karbindo Abesyapradhi have.Based on this research, we know that buy a new heavy equipment cash is the best option for the company, where the company will get benefit from this option. This result become from trial with Net Present Value method, where the cash option get the higgest NPV value, while when we test with Internal Rate of Return after pass the incremental analitysis produce the result that the cash option be a best option and have the most benefit for the company and it can apply for all kind of heavy equipment in PT. Abstract

PT Koto Alam Sejahtera is one private company engaged in the mining of andesite stone with open pit mining with quarry method. Located in Jorong Polong Duo Kenagarian Koto Alam District Pangkalan Koto Baru District Lima Puluh City Province West Sumatra. The purpose of this research is to analyze the performance of the crushing plant and other obstacles encountered during production activities. One of the steps to be taken so that the desired target company can be fulfilled is to rearrange the CSS (close side setting) on the cone crusher. To determine the actual capacity cone crusher then done by doing beltcut test beltcut test. Beltcut test is one type of tool capacity testing on belt conveyor, with the aim of knowing the amount (tonnase) and efficiency of the crushing plant. With the results obtained from the beltcut test, it is hoped that it can be used as a basis handliig crushing plant in the future. Currently the total production generated from the crushing result is 111,12 ton / hour or 17.574,20 ton / month, with the CSS size setting on the 45 mm for cone crusher I and 18 mm for cone crusher II. This amount is considered not able to meet the target set by the company that is as much as 23.000 tons / month in February. After the analysis, the total production was 155.98 ton/haur or 24.669,99 ton/mounth with 56 mm size of CSS cone crusher I and 26 mm for cone crusher II.Keywords: quarry method,  crushing plant, close side setting, beltcut test, efficiency

Abstract

Coal is a source of energy used as fuel. PT. Atoz Nusantara Mining is a coal mining company located in Nagari Tambang IV Jurai Pasisr Selatan. Currently coal mining activities are less effective because they are low in caloric value. Low calorie coal is piled up in stockpile and not sold. To be marketed, need to increase the value of calories or processing to be sold and utilized. Sawdust waste creates problems in handling and has not been optimally utilized. The waste is left to rot and be burned by sawmill or wood worker. Research with this method uses sawdust with the aim that low-calorie coal mixed with sawdust can be used. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the mixing of coal with sawdust can increase the calorific value of coal which in the sample 1 calorie coal 2186 cal / gr with a ratio of 25:75 to 3915 cal / gr. In the sample 2 calories of coal 4298 cal / gr with a ratio of 75:25 to 4249 cal / gr. In the sample 3 calories of coal 1757 cal / gr with a ratio of 25:75 to 3700 cal / gr. Other parameters such as water content, ash content, flying substances and sulfur content also changed, in sample 1 moisture in analysis 6.28% with a ratio of 75:25 to 4.32%; ash content 54.68% with a ratio of 25:75 to 10.66%; volatile matter 8.50% with a ratio of 75:25 to 29.28%; sulfur 0.55% with a ratio of 25:75 to 0.16%. In sample 2 moisture in analysis was 5.80% with a ratio of 75:25 to 4.46%; ash content 37.40% with a ratio of 25:75 to 11.33%; volatile matter 6.60% with a ratio of 75:25 to 26.79%; sulfur 1.17% with a ratio of 25:75 to 0.29%. In sample 3 moisture in analysis was 6.02% with a ratio of 75:25 to 4.28%; ash content 61.91% with a ratio of 25:75 to 15.65%; volatile matter 6.32% with a ratio of 75:25 to 30.48%; sulfur 1.17% with a ratio of 25:75 to 0.09%. Keywords: coal, low-calorie, sawdust, waste of sawdust, fuel

Abstract

Area 242 is a mining location located in the PT. Semen Padang area, in the process of clay mining in area 242 it uses 13 units of transport equipment and 1 piece of loading equipment. The production target for clay stripping / day is not achieved. This is due to lack of good composition of mechanical devices and the amount of waiting time that occurs on the conveyance. The purpose of this study was to calculate the productivity of the tool, calculate the harmony of the device in soil use, get the effort and reduce the queuing time on soil production in the 242 area, and get a match factor equal to 1. In this study combined between theory and field data, so that the approach to problem solving can be obtained. And the results of data processing will be analyzed to produce a recommendation. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded. First, the productivity of Kobelco SK200 on fleet 1 is 1,322.4 tons / day and the productivity of the DT Hino 500 FM260TI is 1,308.5 tons / day. Secondly, after being upgraded by 2 fleet and the addition of 1 unit of Kobelco SK200 type excavator and Kobelco SK200 productivity is 3,037.34 tons / day and DT Hino 500 FM260TI 13 units then the conveyance becomes 3006.38 tons / day. Third, efforts to reduce the queuing time to improve the composition of the tool to MF = 1. Fourth, analysis of MF calculation = 1 on fleet 1 = 13 units of Hino, fleet 2 = 13 units. Keywords: production, match factor, queuing theory, excavator, dumptruck

Abstract

Abstract. Pit A PT. Darma Henwa Tbk is conducting mine dewatering efforts to remove the water in the pit, to realize the mining plan back in pit A which will be carried out in March 2019. PT. Darma Henwa tbk provided 4 pump units in the mine dewatering activity. However, based on field observations, it is seen that there is still a high level of standing water in sump pit A, this certainly affects the initial mining plan. Therefore, evaluation of the drainage system in pit A. The problem solving method is done by analyzing the design recommendations related to optimizing pump performance and minimizing the fuel available in pit A, namely recommendation I, the design of 2 pump outlets on the highwall and 2 on the sidewall. Recommendation II is to design 1 pump outlet on the highwall and 3 on the sidewall, and recommendation III to design 4 pump outlets on the sidewall. Based on the analysis of the three recommendation, it is concluded that the recommendation I (2 outlet pump in the sidewall and 2 in highwall) solving problems more effectively and efficiently linked system optimization mine dewatering or pumping systems at pit A Bengalon Coal Project, PT. Abstract

The intangible factors in iron ore mining project can be calculated quantitively by using Black-Scholes-Merton Formula. Based on calculation results, NPV value using Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) is obtained that amount Rp. 384.410.329.525. The parameters of Black-Scholes-Merton (BSM) Formula has value amount: Volatility of Commodity Price (σ2)=4,5%, Risk Free Rate (r)=7,61%, Value of Underlying Asset (S)=Rp. 493.178.856.998,86, Capital Budget (K)=Rp. 16.213.165.807, and Loss of Opportunities (γ)=3,28%. So that the value of eNPV is Rp. 539.768.362.897,60 with Option Value (C) amount Rp. 155.358.033.372,49. Sensitivity analysis shows that Option Value (C) is directly proportional to the increment of Value of Underlying Asset (S) and Risk Free Rate (r). Meanwhile the Option Value (C) is inversely proportional to Capital Budget (K), Loss of Opportunities (γ), and Project Time Period (t). The increment Volatility of Commodity Price does not influence Option Value (C).

Abstract

Abstract. In the underground mining system at the Seam C location of PT. Allied Indo Coal Jaya The problem that often occurs is that a lot of water enters or is inundated. Therefore a mine drainage system is needed to support mining activities, so that various infrastructures that are made aim to control the water that flows in the mining area, especially in the opening hole. The water handling system in this area is more concerned because it is directly related to mining activities that are always mobile, so the discharge of water that comes out must be in accordance with the flow of water that enters the mine.In the Seam C area it has 2 sumps and 7 control tanks, because the pumping system is carried out by flowing water from the work front to the control basin, and then to the last sump, then it is flowed out of the mine by relay. The types of pumps used are Airlux WQD6-12 0.55 (075 Kw) and Airlux WQ25-20-3 (3 Kw). The number of pumps currently in use is 9 units, due to the large amount of incoming groundwater discharge. Measurement of water discharge is done manually in the field by measuring water at the point which is the largest water source at the study site, front tunnel tunnel 3 and tunnel tunnel front 4. Based on the discussion and analysis of the data it can be concluded that groundwater discharge in tunnel 3 is 0.1485 (m3 / min) and tunnel 4 is 0.1454 (m3 / min) while runoff water discharge is 0.1692 (m3 / sec) and the amount 10 units of pump needed to dry water consist of 8 units of Airlux WQD6-12 0.55 (075 Kw) and 2 units of Airlux WQ25-20-3 (3 Kw).Keywords: Underground Mine, Mine Dewatering, Pumps, Groundwater Discharge, Runoff Discharge

Abstract

The things that should be success parameter of mining company is the amount of its production. Loading and hauling equipments performance will determine production planning. Unproductive working hours directly also be an affect from unappropiate work system. As the draft of this research, the author examine the data of its equipments cycle time so that it can be obtained the details working hours of equipments such as effective working hours, and working hours obstacles. The methodology of this research used quantitative analysis approachment which the biggest point should be done to reach the goals of this research is to examine the data and make a detail of working hours such as the number of annual equipments and then evaluated it, thus it would be obtained the production. The results showed the average of equipments was working about 3.55 hours/day with production getting (25,417.997 ton). Then the autors do an evaluation, if working hours is increased to 5 hours/day, then it also will increase more than (35,819.3467 ton) and additional revenue from (Rp. 12,708,998,500) be (Rp. 17,909,673,800).

Abstract

Abstract. PT. Manggala Usaha Manunggal is a mining contractor company that is trusted to carry out coal mining activities by PT. Bara Anugrah Sejahtera in Pulau Pulau Village, Tanjung Agung Subdistrict, Darmo Village, and Keban Agung Village, Lawang Kidul District, Muara Enim Regency, South of Sumatra Province. PT. Manggala Usaha Manunggal uses the open mining method. The pit design was designed using Minescape Software 5.7. The results of pit reserves design in October 2019 were 1,225,796,571 BCM for overburden and 332,435,323 tons for coal with SR 1: 3,7. In November 2019 overburden was peeled at 1,225,026,887 and coal was mined at 322,769,945 tons with SR 1: 3,8. Whereas in December 2019 overburden was peeled at 1,238,004.473 and mined coal was 303,088.444 tons with SR 1: 4.1. Main mining equipment fleet allocation for October 2019 there are 5 fleets for overburden removal and 2 fleets for coal getting. In November 2019 there were 7 fleets for overburden removal and 3 fleets for coal getting consisting of 2 units Doosan DX700LC excavator and 1 unit Volvo EC480D excavator serve 18 units of Mitsubishi FUSO / HINO FM.
