Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model TGT dan permainan ular tangga. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 siklus, siklus I dengan pembelajaran model TGT dan siklus II pembelajaran TGT dengan permainan Ular Tangga. Alat pengumpulan data adalah observasi, tes, dan catatan lapangan. Teknik data diolah dengan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran bahasa Inggris menggunaan model TGT dan permainan Ular Tangga, (2) terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar sebesar 31.25%, dan (3) terjadi peningkatan pelaksanaan pembelajaran dari 77.5 % menjadi 85%. Dari hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan TGT dan dan permainan ular tangga dapat meningkatkan hasil belaajr siswa pada mata pelajaran bahasa Inggris.

Abstract

Speech Acts are an important component of communication because they show how people express their intentions and goals and help create strong bonds among team members. The aim of this research is to examine how students at the Faculty of Economics, Medan State University behave when speaking during organizations. This research uses a qualitative methodology which includes document analysis, observation and interviews. Direct interviews conducted by researchers and supporting data collected from other sources serve as research data sources. The research findings suggest two key conclusions. First, students use a variety of speech acts, including perlocutionary speech acts that influence the listener, illocutionary speech acts that conceal meaning, and locutionary speech acts that present facts. Second, this study outlines a number of communication problems faced by students that can hinder the achievement of company goals. The findings of this research are intended to be a guide to improving communication within the student organization environment at the Faculty of Economics, Medan State University.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine how government spending and GDP affect North Sumatra's Original Regional Income (PAD) between 2010 and 2022. Multiple linear regression and the 95% significance threshold are two data analysis approaches used in the quantitative research approach. The findings of the simultaneous analysis show that GDP and government spending at current prices significantly and favorably affect North Sumatra's PAD. Government spending has a sizable and beneficial impact on North Sumatra's PAD, to a certain extent. Nevertheless, during 2010–2022, North Sumatra's PAD is positively influenced by current GDP in an insignificant way.

Abstract

The urgency of updating the approach in handling minor crimes is increasingly relevant amidst society's demands for a more just and humane legal system. This article aims to examine the concept of restorative justice as an alternative for resolving minor crimes and assess its relevance to the social justice agenda in Indonesia. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach. Data was collected through literature studies, policy documentation, and in-depth interviews with law enforcement officials and community figures. The research results show that restorative justice is able to be a more efficient, inclusive and solution mechanism than the retributive approach, by prioritizing the restoration of relationships between perpetrators, victims and society. These findings strengthen restorative legal theory and provide a real contribution to the discourse on criminal law reform based on local values ​​and social justice. In conclusion, the implementation of restorative justice has great potential to strengthen social cohesion and build a more responsive and participatory legal system. This research recommends the need to strengthen regulations and training of officials to overcome obstacles in their implementation, as well as opening up space for further exploration in a broader context.

Abstract

The rapid development of financial technology (fintech) has driven innovation in the world of investment, one of which is through digital platforms for gold investment. Pegadaian Digital, as an online gold investment service, offers ease of access and flexibility for the public, but raises issues of Islamic law regarding the suitability of contracts, ownership, and transaction mechanisms in a non-physical system. This study aims to analyze the compliance of online gold investment practices at Pegadaian Digital with Islamic legal principles. The research employs a qualitative method with a normative-legal and conceptual approach, and data is obtained through literature review, including fiqh literature, DSN-MUI fatwas, and official documents from Pegadaian. The results of the study indicate that digital gold investment through Pegadaian Syariah uses a combination of wakālah, ijarah, bai’, and qardh contracts, which are considered valid under Islamic law, provided they meet the conditions and requirements of the contract and are free from elements of riba and gharar. The delivery mechanism in the digital system is deemed valid based on the concept of qabḍ hukmī (legal delivery), and does not contradict sharia if the transaction object, price, and rights and obligations of the parties are explained transparently. The conclusion of this study states that online gold investment practices through Pegadaian Digital can be considered in line with Sharia principles, provided they remain under continuous supervision to align with the objectives of Sharia (maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah) in contemporary muamalah practices.
