Abstract

Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 74 of 2008 concerning teachers article 3 describes the 4 competencies that a teacher must have. These competencies are pedagogical competence, personality competence, social competence and professional competence. Pedagogic competence and professional competence are closely related to the use of technology in learning. Learning media is a tool or intermediary that functions to facilitate the teaching and learning process so that communication between teachers and students is more effective. This research was conducted to determine the competence of learning media based on Information and Communication Technology by teachers at Senior High Schools in Padang City. The research was conducted in the form of a combination approach that combines quantitative and qualitative methods. these are selected according to the problem under study. The combination of these two approaches will strengthen the study related to the overall phenomenon under study. To obtain quantitative data, a questionnaire was developed based on research indicators.

Abstract

Technology mastery is one of the most important competencies for teachers. In Permendiknas No. 16/2007 concerning Academic Qualification Standards and Teacher Competencies, there are four competencies that must be mastered by teachers, two of which are pedagogical and professional competencies. Both of these competencies are very closely related to the use of technology in learning. In curriculum 2013, every teacher is required to utilize technology in the learning process. This study aims to see the extent of the use of technology by teachers in the learning process in schools in Padang. This research is a field survey research. The subjects of this study were 60 public junior high school teachers in Padang. The research method used is quantitative descriptive percentage with data collection techniques in the form of a questionnaire in the form of a Likert scale of 5. The results obtained from this study are: (a) the use of information and communication technology by teachers in planning to get 70.1% results including the high category, (b) the use of information and communication technology by teachers in the learning process to obtain 69.1% results including high category, and (c) the use of information and communication technology in learning evaluation obtained 68.9% results included in the high category.Keyword: information and communication technology, curriculum 2013

Abstract

Kabupaten Tanah Datar mengalami lonjakan signifikan dalam tingkat pengangguran, terutama di kalangan lulusan SMA yang tidak melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang lebih tinggi. Berdasarkan data dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), angka pengangguran di kabupaten ini naik dari 4,63% pada tahun 2021 menjadi 5,35% pada tahun 2023. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, salah satu solusi yang diusulkan adalah pelatihan sablon mug dan sablon DTF (Direct to Film) bagi siswa SMA Negeri 1 Batipuah. Pelatihan ini dirancang untuk membekali siswa dengan keterampilan praktis yang dapat mereka gunakan untuk memulai usaha mandiri dan sekaligus menumbuhkan semangat kewirausahaan. Harapannya langkah ini dapat membantu mengurangi tingkat pengangguran di daerah tersebut. Artikel ini akan membahas secara mendalam pelaksanaan pelatihan, metode yang diterapkan, serta dampak yang diharapkan dari program ini
