Abstract

This research is motivated the low achievement motivation of employees in the implementation of tasks in Office Education of West Sumatra Province. This study aims to obtain information about employee achievement motivation in the implementation of tasks in the West Sumatra Provincial Office viewed from aspects of responsibility, acceptance of feedback, creativity and innovation. This type of research is descriptive with the population being employees of the Education Office of West Sumatra Province, amounting to 191 people . The sampling technique was Proportional Random Sampling so that the respondents were 68 people. The research instrument is a questionnaire (questionnaire) with a Likert Scale model with five alternative answers, namely always (SL), often (SR), sometimes (KD), rare (JR), and never (TP), which has been tested for validity and reliability. Questionnaire declared invalid by rho rho Countof rho table validity test using SPSS 16.0 to test the validity perbutir and declared all valid items with a 95% confidence level and reliability of otherwise reliable with rho Countof rho table is 0.971> 0.444. The data were processed using the formula average(mean).The results showed that achievement motivation seen from the aspect of responsibility was in the high category with an average score of 3.67. For the aspect of receiving feedback, the category is quite high with an average score of 3.55. For the aspect of creativity in the high enough category with an average score of 3.56, then the innovative aspect is in the high category with an average score of 3.67. In general, achievement motivation in carrying out tasks in the West Sumatra Provincial Education Office is in the high category with an average score of 3.67. Based on this, the authors suggest that the provision of achievement motivation be increased again so that it can increase employee motivation in work.

Abstract

This study aims to develop chemical literacy items on chemical bonding material that can be used to measure students literacy skills, help students understand chemical literacy-based questions, understand chemistry, communicate chemistry orally and in writing, and apply their ability to solve problems in daily life. The type of research is development research with Model of Educational Reconstruction (MER) design. The content validity test was carried out by five validators and analysed using the Rasch model with the facets application. Meanwhile, empirical testing of students was analysed using the Rasch model with the winsteps application. The results of the content validity analysis in this study showed the results of the agreement (exact agreements) of 86,8 percent and the estimated results of the approval (expected agreements) of 87,8 percent, and the results of the analysis of chemical literacy instruments had a valid category and had a reliability value of 0,96.

Abstract

Differences in the level of altruistic behavior tendencies in terms of gender on campus students V UNP. This study to recognize differences in level of altruistic behavior tendencies in terms of gender on campus students V UNP. Research design use is comparative quantitative.. The population from this study was all active campus students V UNP with simple random sampling. The number samples obtained 100 people. This study used scale from Myers with realibilty is 0,898. The data was analyzed using independent sample t-test. Based on the analysis of data obtained value of p = 0,656 > 0,05.it means that H0 in this study was accepted and Ha was rejected that is, there is no significant difference in the level of altruism behavior in college students of V UNP from a gender perspective. Perbedaan tingkat kecenderungan perilaku altruisme ditinjau dari jenis kelamin pada mahasiswa Kampus V UNP. Penelitian ini berfokus untuk melihat perbedaan tingkat kecendrungan perilaku altruisme ditinjaudari jenis kelamin pada mahasiswa Kampus V UNP. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif komparatif. Populasi yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini seluruh mahasiswa yang aktif di kampus V Universitas Negeri Padang dengan teknik sampel yaitu simple random sampling. Jumlah sampel yang didapatkan adalah 100 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan skala altruisme dari Myers dengan reliabilitas yaitu 0,898. Teknik analisis yang dipakai adalah independent sample t-test. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh Nilai p = 0,656> 0,05, artinya H0 pada penelitian ini diterimadan Ha ditolak, yaitu tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan tingkat perilaku altruisme pada Mahasiswa Kampus V Universitas Negeri Padang ditinjau dari jenis kelamin.
