Abstract

Dalam usaha mengubah paradigma pendekatan penilaian dari classical test theory (CTT)menjadi item respon theory (IRT), maka penelitian ini berfokus pada estimasi kemampuanindividu (Mahasiswa) menurut pengkuran rasch model. Komponen yang ditinjau yaknikemampuan mahasiswa dan tingkat kesukaran tiap aitem tes. Metode penelitian ini dilakukandengan tes yang diberikan kepada mahasiswa pendidikan fisika semester V, FakultasKeguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Katolik Widya Mandira. Proses analisis dilakukandengan mengurutkan kemampuan mahasiswa dan parameter tingkat kesukaran dalam skalalogitnya masing-masing. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kemampuan mahasiswadalam mengerjakan tes Optika memiliki logit lebih tinggi yakni (0,76 logit) dari rata-rata logitkesukaran aitem tes atau mean item (0,00 logit). Analisis ini mampu mengklasifikasikankemampuan tiap-tiap individu dan kesulitan aitem-aitem tes dengan lebih tepat.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability to ask questions and problem solving skills of learners in the learning of physics through Problem Based Learning. This research is a classroom action research with two cycles in learning using problem based learning. Data collection techniques used to determine the ability to ask is by observation while for problem-solving skills using the test. Subjects in this study were students of Senior High School X class at St. Seminary Rafael Oepoi Kupang Academic Year 2017/2018. The results showed that: (1) there was an increase in the ability to ask learners in the second cycle; (2) there is an increase of mean value of problem solving ability of learners gradually that is from 68 at initial test, 72 at cycle I and 77 in cycle II. Abstract

This study aims to improve students' creativity through STEM in Science Learning in Class VIII SMP Negeri 11Kupang. The STEM approach is associated with the environment, so that a learning is realized that presents the real world experienced by students in everyday life. This means that through the STEM approach students are not just memorizing concepts, but rather how students understand and understand scientific concepts and their relationships in everyday life. The problem in this study is the low creativity of students in science learning. The subjects of this study were class VIII J students totaling 25 people. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). This research model is in the form of a cycle consisting of four stages, namely: planning, action, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques in the form of observation sheets and questionnaires. The analysis technique uses descriptive analysis. The results of the study show that science learning with the STEM approach can train students 'creative abilities in linking the four fields of the exact science so that they have deep insights and can enhance students' creativity Keywords: Creativity, STEM, Learning outcomes
