Abstract

Abstrak Latar belakang: Infeksi cacing pada manusia dipengaruhi oleh perilaku, lingkungan tempat tinggal dan manipulasinya terhadap lingkungan. Helminthiasis banyak ditemukan di daerah dengan kelembaban tinggi serta keadaan hygiene dan sanitasi yang kurang. Berdasarkan observasi pada anak sekolah diketahui banyak yang memiliki kuku panjang dan tidak terawat yang akan menjadi tempat melekatnya berbagai kotoran yang mengandung bakteri dan telur cacing. Perilaku anak-anak usia sekolah dasar yang bermain tanah dan tidak memotong kuku dengan rutin serta tidak terbiasa mencuci tangan menggunakan sabun menyebabkan resiko kontaminasi penyakit cacingan cukup tinggi di wilayah Seberang Kota Jambi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan kebersihan kuku dengan kontaminasi telur cacing pada siswa sekolah dasar di wilayah Puskesmas Tahtul Yaman Kota Jambi dan untuk mengetahui hubungan mencuci tangan dengan kontaminasi telur cacing pada siswa sekolah dasar di wilayah Puskesmas Tahtul Yaman Kota Jambi.Metode : Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan rancangan Cross Sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah menjadi 60 sampel. Analisis hubungan antar variabel dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji Chi Square. Kesimpulan: Penelitian menunjukan ada hubungan yang bermakna antara kebersihan kuku siswa dengan kontaminasi telur cacing pada kuku siswa sekolah dasar di wilayah Puskesmas Tatul Yaman (p - value 0,000). Ada hubungan yang bermakna antara kebiasaan mencuci tangan siswa dengan kontaminasi telur cacing pada kuku siswa sekolah dasar di wilayah Puskesmas Tatul Yaman (p - value 0,000). Abstrack Analysis of Personal Hygiene to Contamination Worm Eggs in Nail Elementary School Students on Puskesmas Tahtul Yaman of Jambi City Background: Helminthiasis found many areas with high humidity as well as the state of hygiene and sanitation are lacking. Based on observations in students known to many who have long fingernails and unkempt. It will be a place of attachment of a variety of bacteria and dirt containing worm eggs. The behavior of children of primary school age were playing ground and do not cut the nails regularly and are not used to wash hands with soap worming cause contamination risk is quite high in Seberang Kota Jambi. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship nail hygiene with worm egg contamination in primary school students in the region Puskesmas Tahtul Yaman of Jambi City and to determine the relationship of handwashing with worm egg contamination in primary school students in the region Puskesmas Tahtul Yaman of Jambi City.Methode : This research is a quantitative research, using cross sectional design. The sample in this research is to 60 samples. Analysis of the relationship between variables is done by using Chi Square. Conclusions: The conclusion show there is a significant correlation between students the nail hygiene with contamination worm eggs on nails elementary school students in the region Puskesmas Tahtul Yaman (p - value 0.000). There is a significant relationship between students habit of washing hands with nail contamination worm eggs on elementary school students in the region Puskesmas Tahtul Yaman (p - value 0.000).

Abstract

Efficiency efforts by the management of drinking water refill depot (DAMIU) in Jambi leadmanagers of drinking water refill depot did not pay attention to the sanitary condition of drinking water refilldepot and the cleanliness of the operator's hand, hygienic behavior such as nails and clothes are notclean. This allows the quality of produced water refill ineligible particular requirements of bacteriologicalcontamination is suspected. The purpose of this study is known picture of the bacteriological quality(coliform), the relationship hygiene and sanitation depot operators of drinking water against coliformnumbers of refill drinking water in the city of Jambi. This research is descriptive analytic using crosssectional design.Samples in this study is 40 samples. Analysis conducted between variables using ChiSquare test.The results showed coliform numbers refillable water that qualifies as many as 28 (70%) andnon-qualified 12 (30%). The analysis showed there is a significant relationship between hygiene operatorwith the number of coliform value of p - value 0,037, there are behaviors that are inconsistent with theoperator Kepmenperindag No. 651/MPP/kep/10/2004. There is a relationship sanitation depot refilldrinking water with coliform numbers p value - value of 0.011 (p <0.05>, still found depot refill drinkingwater with limited sanitation facilities and drinking water are still merging with home depot and are not yeteligible in accordance Kepmenperindag No. 651/MPP/kep/10/2004.It is suggested to DAMIU manager tosupervise the operator hygiene and sanitation factors noticed depot refill drinking water.

Abstract

Aedes aegypti larvae that are not monitored will develop into adult mosquitoes, the Aedes aegypti mosquito, which can cause dengue fever. DHF disease transmission by Aedes aegypti mosquito larvae. The solution is to break the vector life cycle, by killing Aedes aegypti larvae, which have been using fogging, abate powder, which has side effects on the environment. Researchers are looking for a safe and effective natural larvicide solution, because researchers saw the number of papaya plants planted by residents in their yards. Papaya plants contain the enzyme papain, the protease effect of papain can kill Aedes aegypti larvae. This study aims to determine the effect of mortality of aedes aegypti larvae by immersing papaya flowers in water reservoirs. The research location is in Curup Tengah Village, the number of houses surveyed as many as 36 water reservoirs. Observational research, cross sectional study design. Larva survey using the single larva method. Survey data were analyzed using the chi-square test. The results of the Chi-square analysis showed that the value of P = 0.04 &lt;? 0.05. So Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, it means that there is a statistically significant relationship between papaya flower immersion on the mortality of Aedes aegypti larvae. so that the community plays an active role in eradicating Aedes aegypti larvae, through activities to get used to soaking papaya flowers and pouring them into water reservoirs as needed.
