Abstract

Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic case has attacked more than 203 countries around the world. WHO states that Covid-19 can be transmitted from person to person through close contact and droplets. The groups most at risk of contracting this disease are people who have contact with Covid-19 patients, including those who treat Covid-19 patients, and people who are treated in infected areas. The purpose of this study was to describe the factors of newcomers, the trend of newcomers and the trend (trend) of positive confirmation cases of Covid-19 in Pekalongan City for the period April-June 2020. This research is an analytical survey research with analytical descriptive research method to present the profiles of Pekalongan residents who fall into the category comer. Based on the results obtained, the total number of immigrants who entered the Pekalongan City area was 1995 (South Pekalongan District with 312 migrants, East Pekalongan 431 migrants, West Pekalongan as many as 548 migrants and North Pekalongan as many as 704 migrants). The trend of arrivals in Pekalongan City for the period April - June 2020 shows a decline at the end of the incident period. The number or the highest peak occurred in the second week of decline with 161 people and the lowest in the VIII week (first week of June 2020) with 19 people. The trend of arrivals is directly proportional to positive cases of Covid-19, which continue to increase every week. The peak of the increase in positive cases of Covid-19 in Pekalongan City occurred in week II (early April 2020) of 12 cases. An increase in these cases came from people returning from international activities. This increase is also due to decreased public awareness in undergoing health protocols according to the Decree of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia No. HK. 01. 07 / MENKES / 382 in 2020 with the enactment of the New Normal Era.

Abstract

World Health Organization (WHO) menaikkan status kejadian infeksi Covid-19 dari Public Health Emergency of International Concern menjadi Pandemi. Abstract

The quality of health services at community health centers can be indicated by patient satisfaction. Patient satisfaction shows how good the health service is. Patient satisfaction is measured by comparing the experience with the patient's expectations. Patient dissatisfaction can be caused by the behavior of medical personnel, as well as system factors such as waiting time and facility comfort. This study aims to determine the effect of waiting time and comfort on patient satisfaction at the Bantarbolang Community Health Center. Using a quantitative method, a cross sectional approach with a sample size of 98 patients, the sampling technique was incidental sampling. The majority of respondents were female (76.5%), aged <20 to 30 years (54.1%), and had a high school/vocational school educational background (41.8%). Most patients experience waiting times that exceed the standards set by Minister of Health Regulation No. 30 of 2022 (75.5%), the average waiting time is the longest in dental clinics (120 minutes). The majority of patients had a low level of comfort (60.2%). Although the majority were satisfied with the service (73.5%), the analysis showed a significant influence between waiting time and patient satisfaction (p-value=0.003). However, there was no significant influence between comfort level and patient satisfaction (p-value=0.703).

Abstract

The Standard Inpatient Class (KRIS) is a policy within the National Health Insurance (JKN) transformation program aimed at achieving equal and standardized inpatient services. Implementation of this policy requires hospital readiness in terms of management and the fulfillment of 12 facility criteria. This study aims to analyze the readiness of KRIS implementation at Bendan Regional Hospital, Pekalongan City, based on management functions. The study used a qualitative descriptive approach through observation, in-depth interviews, and document review with management and related units. The results show that planning has been carried out in stages and based on priorities, organization is carried out through cross-unit coordination, and the implementation of most criteria has been met, especially in bed density, room allocation, room temperature, lighting, and basic facilities. However, several criteria such as ventilation, bed spacing, curtains/partitions, bathrooms, accessibility, and nurse call still require improvement. Control is carried out through internal monitoring and external evaluation, although record keeping still needs to be improved. In general, Bendan Regional Hospital is in the partially ready category for KRIS implementation, so strengthening the roadmap and gradually improving infrastructure is necessary.

Abstract

Stunting remains a significant public health problem in Indonesia. The Sarwodadi Community Health Center is one of the areas with a relatively high prevalence of stunting. In 2024, the stunting prevalence was recorded at 16.90%, and in 2025 the number of stunting cases increased by 18.63% compared with the previous year. This condition indicates that the implementation of the stunting intervention program has not yet been fully successful in reducing the prevalence of stunting. This study aimed to analyze the implementation of the First 1,000 Days of Life (1,000 HPK) Specific Nutrition Intervention Program for stunting management at the Sarwodadi Community Health Center. This study employed a descriptive qualitative design using a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document reviews. The data were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. Data trustworthiness was ensured through source and method triangulation. The findings revealed that several indicators of the specific nutrition intervention program targeting the first 1,000 days of life had not been optimally achieved. In terms of input, there were limitations in human resources, and specialized training for community health volunteers (cadres) on stunting management had not been systematically planned. Regarding the process aspect, the frequency of direct field monitoring remained limited. In the output aspect, the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding, as well as iron supplementation (30 and 90 iron-folic acid tablets) for pregnant women, had not reached the established targets. The study recommends conducting regular monitoring and evaluation of the First 1,000 Days of Life nutrition intervention program to improve its effectiveness in preventing and reducing stunting.

Abstract

The National Health Insurance (JKN) program aims to improve access to healthcare services and provide financial protection for the Indonesian population. Despite the increasing coverage of JKN enrollment, public perceptions of its benefits remain varied. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between perceived health needs and the perceived benefits of participating in the JKN program among residents of Kedungwuni District, Pekalongan Regency, in 2026. A quantitative study with a cross-sectional design was conducted involving 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Perceived health needs, operationalized through perceived susceptibility and perceived severity based on the Health Belief Model, served as the independent variable, while perceived benefits of JKN participation were the dependent variable. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed through univariate analysis and the Chi-Square test. The results showed that 51.0% of respondents had high perceived health needs, while 55.0% had positive perceptions of JKN benefits. A significant relationship was found between perceived health needs and perceived benefits of participating in the JKN program (p=0.000), with a Contingency Coefficient of 0.339 indicating a moderate association. Higher perceived health needs were associated with more positive perceptions of JKN benefits.

Abstract

The Chronic Disease Management Program (Prolanis) is a BPJS Kesehatan initiative designed to improve the quality of life of patients with chronic diseases through continuous healthcare services. However, its implementation at primary healthcare facilities remains suboptimal due to low participant activity and service quality, which may affect participant loyalty. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between Prolanis service quality and participant loyalty at Kedungwuni II Public Health Center in 2026. A quantitative correlational study with a cross-sectional design was conducted involving 76 respondents selected through probability sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires on service quality and participant loyalty and analyzed using the Spearman Rank test (α = 0.05). The results showed that 56.6% of respondents perceived Prolanis service quality as poor, while 51.3% were categorized as less loyal. Significant relationships were found between the dimensions of reliability (p=0.000), responsiveness (p=0.000), and empathy (p=0.000) and participant loyalty. In contrast, tangibles (p=0.251) and assurance (p=0.436) were not significantly associated with loyalty. Improving reliability, responsiveness, and empathy is recommended to enhance participant loyalty.
