Abstract

This study aims to obtain empirical evidence about the influence of board size,profitability, media exposure, and company age on disclosure of Corporate SocialResponsibility. The population in this study included banking companies listed on theIndonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2017. The sampling technique uses purposivesampling. The study samples are 35 companies, with two years of observation. So thetotal samples are 70. The analysis method used is multiple regression.The results ofthis study indicate that the size of the board of commissioners, profitability, and ageof the company influence the disclosure of Corporate Social Responsibility. While themedia exposure variable did not affect the disclosure of Corporate SocialResponsibility. The results of this study are expected to be a material consideration inimproving the implementation of disclosure of Corporate Social Responsibility in thecompanyKeywords: Corporate Social Responsibility disclosures, size of the board ofcommissioners, profitability, media exposure, company age

Abstract

Objek Penelitian adalah Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja Kabupaten Pesawaran yang merupakan salah satu Satuan Kerja Perangkat Daerah yang memberikan pelayanan berupa jasa untuk menegakkan peraturan daerah perda dan peraturan kepala daerah perkada, menyelenggarakan ketertiban umum dan ketentraman masyarakat serta menyelenggarakan perlindungan masyarakat . Tujuan peneliitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian insentif terhadap disiplin kerja anggota Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja Kabupaten Pesawaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis kualitatif dan analisis kuantitatif, dalam penelitian ini populasi berjumlah 400 orang. Dengan sampel 40 responden. Analisis data kuantitatif dengan rumus analisis regresi linear sederhana, yakni Koefisien diterminasi adalah sebesar 45,3 persen. variabel insentif menjelaskan variasi perubahan terhadap variabel disiplin kerja pada Anggota Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja di Kabupaten Pesawaran sebesar 45,3 persen.  Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah Pemberian insentif berpengaruh terhadap disiplin kerja anggota Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja di Kabupaten Pesawaran diterima.

Abstract

The focus of the study is to explore the role of podcasts in enhancing students' extensive listening skills in learning English as a foreign language. The research involved eight students from the English Education Department of a private university in Indonesia, and data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and guided reflective journals. The Case Study 2.0 framework was employed to collect and analyze data, which involved leveraging digital tools and platforms to enhance the traditional case study approach. The data collected were analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques such as content and frequency analysis. The findings of the study findings revealed that podcasts were an effective tool for enhancing students' extensive listening skills, improving their pronunciation, vocabulary, and comprehension of English spoken by native speakers. The study also found that podcasts were engaging and motivating for students, leading to better learning outcomes. The study concludes that using podcasts is a beneficial approach to teaching listening skills in language learning.
