Abstract

This study focuses at the old town of Cirebon. This study assessed through three disciplines, namely visual communication design, architecture and product design. The layout of the old town of Cirebon is located in Yos Sudarso. This study through the stages of observation, literature review and interviews. This study is also a qualitative one. Special study of the visual communication design, using Semiotics. Not easy to draw conclusions from three authors (researchers) let alone different background knowledge. Hopefully, through this research, local authorities may consider the Cirebon city and realize the conclusions and solutions that have been done by the author. Key words: revitalitaion, semiotics, city, branding

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the semiotics of an OLX commercial named with “Former became Blessing”. It examined the relationship of laying camera angle in influencing message delivered by a TVC and how the cinematography is used as a visual rhetoric. The study was conducted qualitatively by semiotic analysis approach to the film. It analyzed by using a diachronic view of signifier and the signified. This study reveals the meanings contained in the TVC OLX.co.id “Former became Blessing”. By using one of the theories of Ferdinand de Saussure, TVC is the subject of the study authors described a scene. Presented through tables and also in the form of a paragraph so that the reader can follow the process of analysis that has been done by researchers.  Keywords: commercial, semiotics, film, cinematography

Abstract

Palembang city is currently experiencing rapid progress in terms of transportation. It is marked with the number of new infrastructure such as the LRT and road construction. However, there are several issues that still often occurs in the highway of Palembang city, these concerns are traffic violations and unsafe driving behavior in this context made by motorcyclists. Therefore, the Design Of Social Campaign Orderly and Safely Traffic Behaviour Based On Safety Riding is designed with the aim to raise awareness and urge the public about the importance of obeying traffic laws and drive safely. Media campaigns were containing various information regarding the traffic order, is designed in such a way without losing the factual aspects of the media as well as easy to be digested by the public.Keywords: Social Campaign, Safety Riding, Traffic

Abstract

Dog pets are very much in demand by the race breeds Society. But dog keepers are less responsible to the dog and less responsive to what is needed by the dog. This will lead to neglect of existing dogs that lead to violence against dogs. Lack of education and information. Dog keepers do not know the important things related. The existence of this design greatly facilitates the dog keepers neglect their dogs in terms of physical and mental as well as provide education to dog keepers in the care of his dog. In addition, the Design of Public Service Animal Welfare Service is expected to overcome the problems of abandoned dogs.
