Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of probiotics on PBBH, feed consumption and feed conversion of lamb female Priangan. The research was conducted from November 16, 2021 to January 8, 2022 at LTW Tasikmalaya, West Java. The material was used 18 of female Priangan lamb aged 6 months. The study was conducted with 3 treatments and 6 replications. The treatments include P0 = concentrate + forage; P1 = concentrate + forage + 1% probiotics; P2 = concentrate + forage + 2% probiotics. The observed variables were average daily gain (ADG), feed consumption, and feed conversion. The data obtained were statistically processed using analysis of variance in a completely randomized design (CRD). The results showed that the highest average ADG in the control treatment was 26.00 ± 1.28 grams. The results of the analysis of the addition of probiotics to feed consumption in the form of dry matter, the highest was P2 of 346.73 ± 13.60 grams. The feed conversion calculation results at P2 showed higher results compared to P0 and P1, namely 14.20 ± 0.75. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the addition of probiotic products from LTW Tasikmalaya farms has a significant effect on ADG, feed consumption, and feed conversion. The results of the analysis showed that the administration of probiotics with higher concentrations, the resulting ADG decreased while feed consumption and feed conversion increased. Increased feed conversion indicates a lack of efficiency of feed absorbed by the body.

Abstract

Diperlukan perbaikan pada feeding system and good farming practices untuk meningkatkan produktivitas sapi. Kebijakan untuk meningkatkan akses pembiayaan kredit, meliputi (i) Penguatan dinamika kelompok dan penerapan teknologi untuk memperbaiki produktivitas sapi potong, (ii) pendampingan pemerintah mengenai aspek penjaminan dan subsidi kredit, penyediaan bantuan untuk revitalisasi pertanian yang dikelola pemerintah dan perbankan, (iii) bekerjasama dengan mitra yang sesuai seperti perbankan dan BUMN untuk program Kredit Kemitraan dan Corporate Social Responsibility.(Livestock production system of beef cattle in the village and their development strategies)ABSTRACT. Livestock On-Farm Trials addressed to identify livestock system of beef cattle production in the villages of Cilacap, Banyumas, Purbalingga, Banjarnegara and Kebumen regencies. This study was designed to documenting the production system characteristics of beef cattle and development strategic of livestock production system in order to increase their productivity and financial support from bank. Beef cattle production systems characterize by traditional rural landless and integrated with crops especially rice. Ongole Cross (Peranakan Ongole) are the predominant of the local cattle and are widely distributed over the five regencies. Brahman Cross also found that are raising for cow calf operation. Performance of Peranakan Ongole, Sumba Ongole, and Simental Cross for fattening purposes were moderate to high of BCS, but low reproductive for Brahman Cross. Improving feeding system and good farming practices could be done to increase beef cattle productivity. Policies to improve access to credit financing, including (i) Strengthening of group dynamics and application of technology to improve the productivity of beef cattle,(ii) government assistance on the aspects of credit guarantee and subsidies, provision of assistance for agricultural revitalization managed by the government and banking,(iii) working with appropriate partners such as banks and BUMN for Partnership Credit and Corporate Social Responsibility programs.

Abstract

Rataan pertambahan bobot badan harian sapi persilangan Simental, Limosine dan Charalois adalah 1,4 kg dengan BCS berkisar 7-8 (level tinggi).(Development type and productivity of beef cattle at the community development partnership program in banyumas and cilacap regencies of Central-Java Province)ABSTRACT. The purposes of this study was to describe the developoment type and productivity of Beef Cattle at the Community Development Partnership Program.
