Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh komposisi media tanam dengan lama perendaman dalam larutan urine sapi terhadap pertumbuhan setek lada serta interaksi kedua faktor tersebut. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di University Farm Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Syiah Kuala. Pada bulan Februari sampai April 2016. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) pola faktorial 4x4 dengan 3 ulangan, sehingga terdapat 16 kombinasi perlakuan dan 48 unit percobaan setiap satuan diwakili oleh 2 tanaman sehingga keseluruhan terdapat 96 tanaman. Adapun faktor yang diteliti yaitu komposisi media tanam dengan 4 taraf yaitu M0 (tanah), M1 (tanah + sekam + pupuk kandang = 1:1:2), M2 (tanah + sekam + pupuk kandang = 2:1:1) , M3 (tanah + sekam + pupuk kandang = 1:1:2) dan faktor kedua yaitu lama perendaman dalam larutan urine sapi yaitu W0 (tanpa perendaman), W1 (30 detik), W2 (60 detik), W3 (90 detik). Parameter yang diamati dalam penelitian ini mencakup jumlah tunas , panjang tunas (cm), jumlah daun (helai), berat brangkasan segar (g), berat akar kering  (g),  Berat tunas kering (g), dan volume akar (ml). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan komposisi media tanam dan lama perendaman dalam urine sapi berpengaruh nyata dalam membantu pertumbuhan setek lada.Influence of Composition of Planting Media and Old Immersion in Cow Urine Solution to Pepper Spinning Growth (Piper nigrum Linn)This study aims to determine the effect of planting media composition with long soaking in cow urine solution to the growth of pepper cuttings and the interaction of these two factors. This research has been conducted at University Farm Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University. In February to April 2016. The experimental design used in this study was Randomized Block Design (RAK) 4x4 factorial pattern with 3 replications, so there were 16 treatment combinations and 48 experimental units per unit represented by 2 plants so that there were 96 whole plants. The factors studied were the composition of planting medium with 4 levels ie M0 (soil), M1 (soil + husk + manure = 1: 1: 2), M2 (soil + husk + manure = 2: 1: 1), M3 (soil + husk + manure = 1: 1: 2) and the second factor is long immersion in cow urine solution W0 (without immersion), W1 (30 seconds), W2 (60 seconds), W3 (90 seconds). Parameters observed in this study included shoot number, shoot length (cm), number of leaves (strands), fresh weight weight (g), dry root weight (g), dry shoot weight (g), and root volume (ml). The results showed that the composition of planting medium and the duration of immersion in cow urine significantly influenced the growth of pepper cuttings.

Abstract

Penilitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tanggapan jarak tanam dan konsentrasi pupuk cair Grow Quick terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum L.). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian dari bulan September 2015 sampai April 2016.  Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) pola faktorial dengan 3 ulangan, factor pertama jarak tanam dengan 3 taraf yaitu 20 cm x 10 cm, 20 cm x 15 cm dan 20 cm 20 cm. Sedangkan faktor kedua konsentrasi pupuk cair Grow Quick dengan 3 taraf yaitu 1 ml/L air, 2 ml/L air dan 3 ml/L air.Dari hasil analisis data secara statistik diperoleh bahwa perlakuan jarak tanam berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap bobot berangkasan basah per berdeng, bobot berangkasan kering per bedeng, bobot kering umbi per bedeng dan potensi hasil. Berpengaruh nyata terhadap bobot kering daun per rmpun dan bobot kering daun per bedeng. Perlakuan konsentrasi pupuk cair Grow Quick berpengaruh nyata terhadap bobot berangkasan kering per bedeng, namun terdapat interaksi yang nyata antara jarak tanam dan konsentrasi pupuk cair Grow Quick bobot berangkasan kering per bedeng dan bobot kering daun per rumpun. Effect of Planting Distance and Concentration of Liquid Fertilizer on The Growth and Grow Quick Results Onion (Allium ascalonicum L.) Origin of SeedsThis research aims to determine the spacing of responses and Quick Grow concentrated liquid fertilizer on the growth and yield of onion (Allium ascalonicum L.). This research was conducted at the Experimental Farm, Faculty of Agriculture from September 2015 until April 2016. The design used in this study is a randomized block design (RAK) factorial design with three replications, the spacing of the first factor with 3 levels of 20 cm x 10 cm, 20 cm x 15 cm and 20 cm 20 cm. The second factor Grow Quick concentrated liquid fertilizer with three levels ie 1 ml / L of water, 2 ml / L of water and 3 ml / L of water. From the analysis of statistical data shows that the treatment plant spacing very significant effect on the weight of the wet stover per plot, stover dry weight per plot, the dry weight of tuber per plot and yield potential. Significant on leaf dry weight per clump and dry weight of leaves per plot. The treatment of concentrated liquid fertilizer Quick Grow significantly affect stover dry weight per plot, but there is a significant interaction between plant spacing and concentrated liquid fertilizer stover Grow Quick dry weight per plot and dry weight of leaves per clump.

Abstract

Abstrak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh jenis media tanam dan konsentrasi air kelapa muda, serta ada tidaknya interaksi keduanya terhadap pertumbuhan setek tanaman tin. Penelitian ini dilakukan dari bulan April hingga Juli 2019, di Rumah Kasa dan Laboratorium Fisiologi Tumbuhan Fakultas Pertanian. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan ialah RAK pola faktorial 4 x 4 dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor yang diteliti ialah jenis media tanam terdiri 4 taraf (tanah + kompos, tanah + pupuk kandang, tanah + arang sekam, dan tanah + sekam padi) dan konsentrasi air kelapa muda terdiri 4 taraf (0%, 25%, 50% dan 75%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis media tanam berpengaruh terhadap panjang tunas, jumlah daun 30, 60 dan 90 HST, jumlah tunas 60 dan 90 HST, berat brangkasan kering, panjang akar, berat brangkasan basah, berat kering akar dan berat basah akar. Pertumbuhan setek tanaman tin terbaik dijumpai pada jenis media tanam tanah + kompos (1:1). Konsentrasi air kelapa muda berpengaruh terhadap jumlah daun, panjang tunas 30 HST, jumlah tunas 90 HST, berat brangkasan kering, panjang akar, berat brangkasan basah, berat kering akar dan berat basah akar. Pertumbuhan setek tanaman tin terbaik dijumpai pada konsentrasi air kelapa muda 75%. Terdapat interaksi antara jenis media tanam dan konsentrasi air kelapa muda terhadap jumlah tunas 60 dan 90 HST, panjang tunas 30, 60 dan 90 HST, jumlah daun 30 HST, berat brangkasan basah, berat brangkasan kering, panjang akar, berat basah akar dan berat kering akar. Pertumbuhan setek tanaman tin terbaik dijumpai pada kombinasi antara jenis media tanam tanah + kompos (1:1) dengan konsentrasi air kelapa muda 75%.The Effects of Types of Planting Media and Concentration of Green Coconut Water on the Growth of Cuttings of Fig Plants (Ficus carica L.)Abstract. The purpose of this study to determine the effects of the types of planting media and the concentration of green coconut water, as well as the interaction between the two on the growth of the cuttings of fig plants. This research was conducted at the Greenhouse and Plant Physiology Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture of Syiah Kuala University from April to July, 2019. The research design used was a randomized block design with the 4 x 4 factorial pattern and three replications. The factors studied were the planting media consisting of 4 different types, namely soil mixed with compost, soil mixed with manure, soil mixed with rice husk charcoal, and soil mixed with rice husk and the green coconut water concentration consisting of four levels, namely 0%, 25%, 50% and 75%. The results indicates that the treatment given to the planting media gave a significant effect on the length of the buds, the number of leaves in 30, 60 and 90 DAP, the number of buds in 60 and 90 DAP, the dry strover weight, the root length, the wet strover weight, the dry root weight and the wet root weight. Furthermore, it significantly affected the length of the buds in 30 DAP. The best growth of cuttings of fig plants is found in the type of soil mixed with compost (1: 1). The results also shows that the concentration of green coconut water also had a very significant effect on the number of leaves, length of the buds in 30 DAP, the number of buds in 90 DAP, the dry strover weight, the root length, the wet strover weight, the dry root weight, and the wet root weight. The best growth of cuttings of fig plants is found in concentration of green coconut water 75%. There was also an interaction found between the types of planting media and the concentration of green coconut water which had a very significant effect on the number of buds in 60 and 90 DAP, the length of the buds in 30, 60 and 90 DAP, the number of leaves in 30 DAP, the wet strover weight, the dry strover weight, the root length, the wet root weight and the dry root weight. The best growth of cuttings of fig plants is found in the combination of type of soil mixed with compost with concentration of green coconut water 75%.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan diTaman Teknologi Pertanian (TTP) Jantho Kecamatan Kota Jantho, Kabupaten Aceh Besar, dan Laboratorium Fisiologi Tumbuhan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Syiah Kuala, yang berlangsung sejakbulan Agustus hingga Desember 2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan petak terpisah (split plot design), dengan dua faktor yaitu dosis pupuk kompos jerami dan varietas. Dosis pupuk kompos jerami menjadi petak utama yang terdiri atas 3 taraf yaitu (kontrol, 10 dan 20 ton ha-1), varietas menjadi anak petak yang terdiri atas 2 taraf yaitu (Situ Patenggang dan Sanbei). Peubah yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah anakan, dan berat berangkasan kering. Perlakuan dosis pupuk kompos jerami berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman pada umur 4 dan 8 MST. Perlakuan varietas berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap jumlah daun pada umur 4 dan 8 MST. Terdapat interaksi antara kompos jerami dan varietas terhadap jumlah anakan, jumlah daun dan berat berangkasan kering. Dosis pupuk kompos jerami yang terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan padi gogo  pada tanah ultisol adalah 20 ton ha-1. Pertumbuhan padi gogo terbaik pada tanah ultisol dijumpai pada varietas sanbei. Kombinasi terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan padi gogo pada tanah ultisol adalah dosis pupuk kompos jerami 20 ton ha-1 dengan varietas sanbei.The Effect of Straw Compost Fertilizer on the Growth of Two Gogo Rice Varieties (Oryza sativa L.) in Ultisol SoilAbstract. This research was conducted in the Agricultural Technology Park (ATP) of Jantho, Kota Jantho Subdistrict, Aceh Besar Regency, and Laboratory of Plant Physiology at the Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University, which lasted from August to December 2016. The study used a split plot design, with two factors are doses of straw compost fertilizer and varieties. The doses of straw compost became the main plot consisting of 3 levels, namely (control, 10 and 20 tons ha1), the varieties being subplots consisting of 2 levels namely (Situ Patenggang and Sanbei). The variables observed included plant height, number of leaves, number of tillers, and dry weight. The treatment of straw compost doses significantly affected plant height at age 4 and 8 WAP. The treatment of varieties had a very significant effect on the number of leaves at ages 4 and 8 WAP. There were interactions between straw compost and varieties on the number of tillers, number of leaves and weight of dry stover. The best dose of straw compost for padigogo growth in ultisol soil is 20 tons ha-1. The best growth of upland rice on ultisol soil was found in sanbei varieties. The best combination of the growth of upland rice on ultisol soil is the dose of straw compost fertilizer 20 tons ha-1 with varieties of sanbei.
