Abstract

Bahan ajar merupakan sesuatu yang tak terpisahkan dari setiap kegiatan pembelajaran, oleh karena itu keterampilan guru dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar perlu dilatih, salah satunya melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah melatih keterampilan guru-guru MGMP Kimia MA se_Sumatera Barat dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar dalam bentuk e-modul. Metode pelatihan dilakukan secara daring dan luring. Peserta kegiatan berjumlah 37 orang guru-guru kimia madrasah negeri dan swasta yang berasal dari beberapa Kabupaten/ Kota di Sumatera Barat. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan teknik persentase. Dari hasil analisis angket diperoleh rata-rata persentase penilaian peserta terhadap penyelenggaraan kegiatan sebesar 90% (sangat baik), penyampaian materi oleh narasumber 89% (sangat baik), dan manfaat kegiatan bagi peserta 85% (sangat tinggi). Data ini menunjukkan bahwa guru-guru MGMP Kimia MA se-Sumatera Barat memiliki persepsi yang sangat baik terhadap penyelenggaraan, penyajian materi, dan manfaat kegiatan pengabdian masyararakat yang telah dilakukan untuk melatih keterampilan guru-guru mengembangkan bahan ajar dalam bentuk e-modul.

Abstract

Classroom Action Research (CAR) is one of the activities which teachers must carry out to improve and develop their professionalism. This community service activity aimed at train and improve the professionalism of chemistry teachers through CAR activities. The method was conducted with lectures, discussions, questions and answers, and workshops on proposal preparation, literature searching, CAR implementation, report, and CAR research articles preparation. The number of participants is 34 who are the members of MGMP Kimia Kabupaten Tanah Datar. There were six meetings with the total time was 36 hours in July-December 2019. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The data obtained were analyzed using the percentage and equation techniques of Kappa Cohen's. Based on the results, of the 34 participants, 15 CAR titles were obtained, 11 CAR titles were carried out, 8 CAR reports were produced, and 4 CAR articles were drafted. Based on the teacher's questionnaire responses, the kappa moment average value was 0.86 which categorized as very high. This data showed that the classroom action training activities provided can improve the professionalism of chemistry teachers in preparing proposals, implementing, drafting reports and articles. This training activity still needs to be continued to obtain CAR articles that have been published in several national /international journals or proceedings.

Abstract

This article is compiled based on the results of community service activities through the community partnership program of Padang State University in 2018 year. This activity aims to improve the competence of chemistry teachers in Padang City chemistry group through training based on guided discovery learning materials. The way to implement these activities can be done through training and workshops to 53 Padang chemistry group teachers. The instruments used were questionnaires for teacher and student responses. The product trial was carried out on 27 students of class X at Padang 1 Public High School in the 2018/2019 academic year. Data analysis was performed using percentage techniques and moment Cappa Cohen's. From the results of the questionnaire analysis of the chemistry teacher's response to the implementation and presentation of the material by the resource persons in succession, the average percentage percentage was 88% and 91% with the second category of aspects that being assessed very high. From the questionnaire analysis of teacher and student responses to learning using chemical modules based on guided discovery learning (GDL), the mean value of the kappa moment was 0.85 for the teacher's questionnaire responses with very high categories and 0.70 for the responses questionnaire of students with high categories. It was concluded that training in the preparation of teaching materials based on guided discovery learning could improve the competence of chemistry group teachers.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang Analisis Kadar Logam Timbal (Pb) dan Tembaga (Cu) pada Susu Kental Manis Kemasan Kaleng dengan Metoda Spektrofotometri Serapan Atom. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelarut terhadap kadar logam timbal (Pb) dan tembaga (Cu) dalam susu kental manis kemasan kaleng, mengetahui pengaruh masa kadaluarsa dan keutuhan kemasan terhadap kadar logam timbal (Pb) dan tembaga (Cu), serta mengetahui kadar logam timbal (Pb) dan tembaga (Cu) dalam salah satu susu kental manis kemasan kaleng yang beredar di pasaran. Analisis kadar timbal (Pb) dan tembaga (Cu) dilakukan dengan menggunakan metoda destruksi basah dan dilakukan beberapa variasi yaitu variasi pelarut, variasi masa kadaluarsa serta variasi keutuhan kemasan kaleng. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semua sampel mengandung timbal (Pb) dan tembaga (Cu). Kadar timbal (Pb) tertinggi didapatkan dengan menggunakan pelarut aquaregia, dengan keadaan kaleng rusak dan masa kadaluarsa satu bulan setelah kadaluarsa yaitu 4,548 mg/L. Kadar tembaga (Cu) tertinggi didapatkan dengan menggunakan pelarut aquaregia, dengan keadaan kaleng rusak dan masa kadaluarsa satu bulan setelah kadaluarsa yaitu 4,491 mg/L.
