Abstract

The surge in positive cases of Covid-19 in Indonesia has increased the demand for medicines and vitamins. As a result, many residents visited the village health center, pharmacies, and drugstores to buy medicine or vitamins to boost their body's immunity during a pandemic. health protocols that limit room capacity result in queues of buyers snaking which can lead to the potential for new infections. The World Health Organization (WHO) itself urges people to implement contactless payments, by using e-money or using electronic payments and avoiding touching touchless devices. This research is a continuation of the activity plan for Community Service at the Jatimelati village health center Pondok Melati Bekasi. Machines providing medicines that accommodate contactless and face-to-face contact with officers are deemed necessary to meet the needs of medicines and vitamins as a complement to machines providing medicines and vitamins so that people can get them more easily during and after the pandemic. In this study, this drug supply machine is equipped with a payment system using a balanced RFID card such as e-money and is also integrated with the website to facilitate monitoring of drug stock availability.

Abstract

In this research, proposed lighting in smartroom with PoE technology (Power over Ethernet). IT facility is PoE Switch, Ethernet Cable and LAN network. Smartroom in this study is defined as meeting room in a high rise building that has LAN network. This research is motivated by many lighting lamps that use AC power, when the future use of AC source will be reduced, even with PoE switch voltage source still use AC, but can eliminate the pitch of light that still uses conventional AC. Building infrastructure systems tend to be developed towards IP protocols. An area where the electrical area becomes fully integrated into the IP network. This is made possible through the use of LED with low voltage and low current. However, in order to utilize the technical and economic advantages offered by LED Lighting Solutions, the addition of light sensor and motion as a switch will make it more complete. The results of the study obtained a cheaper cost than the use without PoE.

Abstract

This activity provides knowledge about the basics and latest applications in the field of Robotics, especially industrial robots and teaches students to be able to assemble robots. 4 Degree of Freedom Arm Robot is a set of mechanical and electronic tools (mechatronics) that can carry out physical tasks, with 4 degrees of freedom of arm movement robots, namely 1 forward-backward, 2 left-right, 3 up-down. Then there are also three movements at the wrist, namely 4 yaw, 5 pitch and 6 roll. The robot arms have functions to move objects with control using a joystick. With the hope that it can make human work easier in moving objects. To be able to provide students with an understanding of robotics, qualified teachers are needed who have mastered the field of electrical engineering, especially robotics. From the comparison of test results before and after participating in activities by students, a significant increase in knowledge was obtained. Apart from that, students also succeeded in assembling a robot using the materials and components provided.

Abstract

This study explores an alternative method of generating electrical energy using a thermoelectric generator that utilizes heat from the soleplate of a steam iron and six thermoelectric units connected in series. Based on the Seebeck effect, the thermoelectric modules convert the temperature difference into voltage. An increase in the heat source temperature leads to higher voltage production by the series-connected thermoelectric modules, although the electrical power output depends on the connected load. The power generator design includes thermoelectric modules, a buck-boost converter, an 18650 lithium-ion battery, and a 5-watt, 12-volt DC lamp. The study addresses key aspects such as the impact of temperature on power output in series-connected and parallel-connected thermoelectric circuits, and the efficient conversion of heat from the steam iron soleplate into electrical energy. The research objectives are threefold: to determine power and temperature values for series-connected thermoelectric circuits, to evaluate power and temperature values for parallel-connected thermoelectric circuits, and to utilize heat from the steam iron soleplate as a thermoelectric heat source for generating electrical energy. Testing involved a buck-boost converter connected to a battery, producing 12.35 volts with a temperature difference of 49°C. Design enhancements, such as integrating heatsinks or coolers on the cold side of the modules to maintain a significant temperature differential, are critical for optimizing performance.

Abstract

Technological developments in Indonesia are relatively rapid, and most people have become part of the Internet of Things era. There are a couple of new technologies in the Internet of Things, one of which uses long-range (LoRa) communication technology, a wireless delivery method using radio signals at a frequency of 433 MHz. Meikarta Central Park is a city park that provides tourist bicycle rentals. Problems often occur when visitors rent bicycles, resulting in tourist bicycles being lost or placed incorrectly. All these problems make it difficult for operators to find abandoned bicycle locations. This research develops a system to detect the location of Meikarta’s tourist bicycles using a GPS tracker with an Arduino microcontroller based on a long-range working principle. On the other hand, the location point can be seen on the map’s application so that the whereabouts of the bicycle can be known. The research results of the tracking from the tourist bicycle GPS tracker using LoRa were 5 test locations, the furthest range of 625 meters on the first tourist bicycle with an accuracy value of 11.2 meters. Meanwhile, the second tourist bike has the most extended range of 590 meters with an accuracy level of 4.4 meters.

Abstract

Industri otomotif di Indonesia mengalami pertumbuhan yang pesat, didorong oleh teknologi manufaktur. Namun, industri ini juga membawa dampak salah satunya berupa tingginya tingkat kebisingan dalam proses produksinya yang menimbulkan polusi suara dan berdampak pada kesehatan pekerja. Rancangan sistem ini dibuat sebagai penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mendeteksi tingkat kebisingan dari sebuah mesin press yang dapat di monitoring dari jarak jauh menggunakan aplikasi blynk di smartphone dan perangkat komputer. Output yang di keluarkan dari sensor suara diproses oleh mikrokontroler ModeMCU ESP8266 untuk memberikan hasil pengukuran serta penyimpanan data hasil pengukuran tingkat kebisingan pada mesin press otomotif, yang kemudian ditampilkan pada layar LCD dan aplikasi blynk. Pengujian sistem monitoring menggunakan aplikasi blynk dengan uji konektivitas dan indikator tingkat kebisingan sudah sesuai dengan pembacaan pada alat. Hasil pengukuran tingkat kebisingan dilakukan pada empat jarak yang berbeda yaitu 25 cm, 50 cm, 75 cm, 100 cm. Dengan menggunakan dua alat Sound Level Meter GM1352 dan alat mikrokontroler. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kebisingan pada mesin press memiliki rata-rata error sekitar 3,24% dengan tingkat akurasi 96,76%, Pada jarak pengukuran 25 cm. Hasil ini mendekati pembacaan dari alat sound level meter GM1352. The automotive industry in Indonesia is experiencing rapid growth, driven by manufacturing technology. However, this industry also has impacts, one of which is high levels of noise in the production process, which causes noise pollution and has an impact on workers' health. This system design was created as research which aims to detect the noise level of a press machine which can be monitored remotely using the blynk application on smartphones and computer devices. The output from the sound sensor is processed by the ModeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller to provide measurement results and data storage of noise level measurement results on automotive press machines, which are then displayed on the LCD screen and blynk application. Testing the monitoring system using the blynk application with connectivity tests and noise level indicators is in accordance with the readings on the equipment. The results of noise level measurements were carried out at four different distances, namely 25 cm, 50 cm, 75 cm, 100 cm. Using two GM1352 Sound Level Meters and a microcontroller. The measurement results show that the noise level on the press machine has an average error of around 3.24% with an accuracy level of 96.76%, at a measuring distance of 25 cm. This result is close to the reading from the GM1352 sound level meter.

Abstract

Energy is an object that can move through essentialreactions; increasing population growth is one of the factors forincreasing energy needs. One of the initiatives initiated was thecreation of a Thermal Electric Generator (TEG). The formulationof the problem in this study is to determine the output voltage,current, and power generated by the thermoelectric as analternative energy and to determine the effect of temperature onthe thermoelectric. The goal is to determine the amount of outputthe thermoelectric generates when it gets a heat source from thedispenser. The data source in this study was obtained from testingthe tools made. The test results show the effect of temperature onthe thermoelectric tested for 120th minutes test of max 5.96 Voltswith a water temperature in the dispenser tank of 73C withoutusing a step up using six pieces of thermoelectric arranged inseries.
