Abstract

Bencana merupakan suatu peristiwa yang terjadi secara tiba-tiba dan tidak dapat dihindari, seperti halnya gempa bumi yang dapat menyebabkan jatuhnya korban jiwa manusia. Pasca terjadi bencana, evakuasi korban yang masih hidup harus segera dilakukan untuk mengurangi dampak buruk yang ditimbulkan, tim SAR (search and rescue) akan membantu untuk menyelamatkan korban. Namun informasi tentang posisi korban belum dapat diketahui dengan dan lingkungan disekitar lokasi bencana masih sangat berbahaya untuk ditinjau, sehingga beresiko jika tim SAR langsung turun ke lokasi tersebut. Penelitian ini menghasilkan rancangan prototipe sistem pendeteksi posisi korban bencana yang mampu menberikan informasi posisi korban pada lokasi bencana dengan waktu singkat. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu robot sebagai platform dikontrol untuk berhenti pada suatu titik dan user mengaktifkan sistem untuk melakukan proses pendeteksian posisi korban bencana. Prototipe sistem ini menggunakan sensor PIR untuk mendeteksi ada atau tidaknya korban, sensor ultrasonik untuk mengukur jarak korban dengan prototipe dan sensor kompas sebagai penunjuk arah korban. Data informasi yang diperoleh dari sensor dikirim dan ditampilkan pada PC user secara nirkabel. Sistem ini mampu mendeteksi korban dengn jarak maksimum 390 cm dengan kondisi korban tidak terhalang seluruhnya oleh benda yang jatuh akibat bencana. Persentase keberhasilan penunjukan posisi korban yaitu 94.37% dengan perbedaan sudut 12.59° dan persentase keberhasilan pengukuran jarak korban dengan sistem 66.58% pada pengujian skala Laboraturium. Kata Kunci: Bencana, posisi korban, sensor PIR, sensor ultrasonik, sensor kompas.

Abstract

An earthquake is a natural disaster caused by the movement of the earth plates or from below the Earth surface. The impact of the earthquake could lead casualties and other losses whether material or immaterial. The evacuation process of the victims must immediately proceed. The SAR (Search and Rescue) team has a duty to rescue victims who trapped in the rubble of the building. But information about the position of the victims could not be known precisely, and the environment around the location of the disaster is still very dangerous that might endanger the safety of SAR Team. In this research, a robot path pointer was designed to help SAR team in locating the victims. The method used in this research is the robot wirelessly controlled by SAR team at SAR team’s post with remote control. The robot searches in the rubble of the building and sends the victim’s location information to SAR team. This robot pointer research aims to find safe routes for SAR team of the victim’s location to reduce the risks that may harm the SAR team. The robot will give the main results of the pointer in the form of location coordinates and routes of the victim so that the SAR team only have to follow the route. Robot pointer guides the SAR team to the location of the earthquake in a short and less risky path for victim evacuation.
