Abstract

Abstrak. Gout Arthritis adalah penyakit akibat kelainan metabolisme asam urat yang disebut hiperurisemia. Prevalensi gout arthritis di Indonesia 1,6-13,6 per seribu penduduk. Hiperurisemia adalah kadar asam urat 7 mg/dl pada pria dan 6 mg/dl pada wanita. Hiperurisemia disebabkan oleh produksi asam urat yang meningkat dan ekresi asam urat yang rendah. Diet purin adalah salah satu faktor yang meningkatkan kadar asam urat. Pengetahuan diet purin merupakan hal yang membutuhkan perhatian. Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan diet purin dengan kadar asam urat pasien gout arthritis. Penelitian analitik dengan studi cross sectional dilakukan pada 52 responden dengan metode consecutive sampling. Penelitian dari tanggal 24 Oktober-31 Desember 2012 Poli dan Ruang Rawat Inap Penyakit Dalam RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh. Pengetahuan diukur dengan kuisioner dan kadar asam urat dengan melihat hasil laboratorium atau dari rekam medik pasien. Hasil penelitian 80,7%  responden adalah usia 19-60 tahun. Responden perempuan 55,8%. Responden tidak bekerja 34,6%. Pengetahuan kurang 71,1% dan sebagian besar adalah responden hiperurisemia 75%. Hasil analisis  uji Fisher Exact test didapat p-value 0,005 (α 0,05). Terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan diet purin dengan kadar asam urat pasien gout arthritis di Kota Banda Aceh.Abstract. Gout Arthritis is a disease caused by abnormal metabolism of uric acid that is called hyperuricemia. The prevalence of gout in Indonesia 1,6 to 13,6 per thousand population. Hyperuricemia is a condition when uric acid levels 7 mg / dl in men and 6 mg / dl in women. Hyperuricemia is caused by increasing production of uric acid and low excretion of uric acid. Purine diet is one of the factors that increase  the levels of uric acid. Knowledge of purine diet is that needs attention. This study aimed to determine the relationship between knowledge purine diet with high levels of uric acid gout arthritis patients. Analitic method with cross-sectional study conducted in 52 respondents were taken with consecutive sampling method. The research was conducted on 24th October to 31th December 2012 in the Department of Internal Medicine RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin of Banda Aceh. Knowledge is measured by the questionnaire. Uric acid levels were measured by looking at the lab results from the patient or  medical record.The results  showed as much as 80,7% of respondents were aged 19-60 years. Female respondents was 55,8%. Respondents who did not work was 34,6%. The respondents have less knowledge level is 71,1% and the respondents were hyperuricemia 75%. From the analysis results using Fisher's Exact test, obtained p-value0,005 (alpha 0,05).There is a relationship between knowledge purine diet with high levels of uric acid gout arthritis patients in Banda Aceh.
