Abstrak. Anemia defisiensi besi merupakan penyebab utama anemia pada kehamilan sehingga tablet besi direkomendasikan untuk seluruh wanita hamil di berbagai negara. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubunganpengetahuan,sikap dan antenatal care dengan konsumsi tablet besi pada ibu hamil di Puskesmas Ulee Kareng Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik observasional dengan rancangan Cross sectional survey dimana tujuan peneliti untuk melihat hubungan, pengetahuan, sikap, dan antenatal care ibu hamil terhadap konsumsi tablet besi. Populasi adalah ibu hamil yang berkunjung ke ruang Kesehatan Ibu dan Anak Puskesmas Ulee Kareng Banda Aceh dan sampel dipilih secara Accidental Sampling pada ibu hamil trimester III dari tanggal 1 November sampai dengan 20 Desember 2011 dengan jumlah 32 responden. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis univariat dan bivariat dengan uji Chi-Square dan bila tidak terpenuhi persyaratannya maka digunakan Fisher’s Exact Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 53,1% responden mengkonsumsi tablet besi sesuai anjuran. Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara pengetahuan (p=0,003 RP=2,6(95% CI=1,3-5,4), sikap (p=0,026 RP=2,0 (95% CI=1,0-4,03), antenatal care (p=0,000 RP=4,1(95% CI=1,4-11,6) dengan konsumsi tablet besi. Abstract. Iron deficiency anemia is one of the main causes of deficiency anemia during pregnancy. As a result, iron tablets have been recommended to be consumed by pregnant women all over the world.. It is assumed that the pregnant women consumed less food that contains sufficient iron. The aim of this research is particularly to figure out the knowledge, attitude and antenatal care that related to Iron tablet consumption during pregnancy in Public Health ClinicUlee Kareng, Banda Aceh. Analytics observasional by designing Cross Sectional Survey was used in order to investigate the relationship between knowledge, attitude, and antenatal care of pregnant women and their consumption of iron tablets. The population of this research was pregnant women who came to Mom and Kids room in Public Health Clinic Ulee Kareng, while Accidental Samplingwas used to choose pregnant women who were in III trimester, particularly from November 1 to December 20, 2011. In this case,the number of total respondents was 32. Furthermore, this research employed univariat and bivariat analysis with Chi-Square. However, if the requirement was not sufficient, Fisher’s Exact Test would be utilized then. The result of this research has shown that 53,1% of respondent consumed Iron tablets accurately. The result of bivariat analysis has shown a clear relationship between knowledge (p=0,003 RP=2,6(95% CI=1,3-5,4), attitude (p=0,026 RP=2,0(95% CI=1,0-4,03), antenatal care (p=0,000 RP=4,1(95% CI=1,4-11,6) and iron tablet consumption.
