Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of library automation toward service quality and performance in the Library and Documentation Batu City Government. The background of this research is to see that the library is an institution working in the field of information is appropriate use of information technology for libraries are required to be able to always present the information needed library users along with the development of science. The approach used is a quantitative study with a sample totaled 116 respondents who are visitors Library Documentation and Archives of the City of Stone. Analysis of the data used is descriptive statistics and path analysis (path analysis). The results of this study indicate that there is significant influence Automation of Library to quality of service (Y) indicated significant value of 0.001 (<0.005) with the results of the coefficient of determination (R2) of 24.6%, a significant influence variable quality of service to variable performance demonstrated the significant value of 0.000 (<0.005) and the results of determination coefficient of 51.9%, and there is a significant differenceAutomation of Library to variable performance (Y) which demonstrated the significant value of 0.000 (<0.005). Based on these tests can be seen that the variable quality of service strengthenvariableAutomation Library so that both affect the endogenous variable Performance. Keywords: Automation Library, Quality of Service, Performance ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan otomasi perpustakaan terhadap kualitas layanan dan kinerja pada Perpustakaan dan DokumentasiPemerintah Kota Batu. Latar belakang dari penelitian ini melihat bahwa perpustakaan yang merupakan instansi yang bergerak di bidang informasi sudah selayaknya memanfaatkan teknologi informasi karena perpustakaan dituntut untuk dapat selalu menyajikan informasi-informasi yang dibutuhkan pengguna perpustakaan seiring dengan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif dengan jumlah sampel berjumlah 116 orang responden yang merupakan pengunjung Perpustakaan Kearsipan dan DokumentasiPemerintah Kota Batu. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif dan analisis jalur (Path Analysis).Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yangsignifikan variabel Otomasi Perpustakaan terhadap variabel Kualitas Layanan yang ditunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,001 (<0,005)dengan hasil pada Koefisien Determinasi (R2)sebesar 24,6%, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan variabel Kualitas Layanan terhadap variabel Kinerjayang ditunjukkan nilaisignifikansi 0,000 (<0,005) dan hasil Koefisien Determinasi sebesar 51,9%, dan terdapat terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan variabel Otomasi Perpustakaan terhadap variabel Kinerjayang ditunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (<0,005). Berdasarkan pengujian tersebutdapat diketahui bahwa variabel Kualitas Layanan memperkuatvariabel Otomasi Perpustakaan sehingga keduanya mempengaruhi variabelendogenous Kinerja. Abstract

This research discusses the development of painted batik inspired by traditional Nusantara dance as a creative foundation. The selection of the painted batik technique in this theme aims to combine two traditional art forms traditional dance and batik to create a unique fusion of cultural heritage. This study introduces novelty by highlighting various traditional Nusantara dances, such as the Legong Dance, Burung Enggang Dance, and Gambyong Dance, as sources of inspiration for painted batik creation. This enriches batik art by incorporating broader and more diverse cultural elements. The creation process includes conceptual stages, idea visualization through sketches and designs, and application on primisima mori fabric. Hand-drawn batik techniques and colet coloring are employed in producing seven painted batik artworks of varying sizes. The selected Nusantara dances include the Legong Dance, Burung Enggang Dance, Jaran Kepang Dance, Gambyong Dance, Topeng Klana Dance, Topeng Betawi Dance, and Merak Dance. Each artistic visualization in the painted batik reflects the movements, decorative patterns, philosophy, and meaning embedded in traditional dance. This research aims to produce artworks that offer novelty and innovation by visualizing traditional Nusantara dance in painted batik. The findings indicate that the visualization of traditional Nusantara dance in painted batik is successfully realized through the exploration of movement, decorative patterns, and the philosophy of each dance. The resulting works showcase the unique characteristics of each dance with an innovative aesthetic approach. Additionally, this research contributes to cultural preservation by introducing traditional dance through the medium of painted batik and enhancing public appreciation of traditional arts.
