Abstract

Due to their unique risk profile, Islamic banks face challenges in risk management. This study aims to review the risks faced by Islamic banks. This study explores risk practices through selected literature and describes the risks faced by Islamic banks. The results show that there are several risks faced by Islamic banks including: credit risk, liquidity risk, operational risk, legal risk, withdrawal risk, benchmark risk and fiduciary risk. Another finding is that Islamic banking is riskier than conventional banks due to its uniqueness in providing financing. In addition, this is also due to an immature money market, limited availability of lender of last resort facilities from the central bank, and a lack of market infrastructure. Islamic banks from the literature analyzed, have not shown to have developed effective solutions to manage the risks of conventional banks and face their own unique risks. Abstract

Islamic bank marketing must be able to change the way of human life and work processes as a whole, in order to support the advancement of information technology to be able to synergize in the world of life with marketing media that can be used to market products that exist in Islamic banks, so that all these products can be recognized by all customers who are users of Islamic bank products. In this research, it is hoped that it can add scientific references in knowing the products in Islamic banking, especially those that are directly related to Economic Construction in the Technology 4.0 era. by using the SWOT Analysis technique. This paper will use qualitative research with a case study approach, namely the author tries to reveal real life so that the collected data is analyzed in detail obtained from many sources, both from interviews, direct observations or data results that have been published by previous researchers. The findings in this study are that Islamic banks can choose the right strategy to synergize with the 4.0 industrial revolution, namely by using SWOT analysis. Abstract

In the era of increasingly advanced developments, it requires humans to follow developments that occur in order to support life. The development of technology and speed in obtaining information is certainly very influential in activities to improve financial performance, one of which is the development of technology-based businesses. This study aims to determine the effect of the level of risk, benefit, and ease to use on the decision to use use a digital wallet with interest in use as an intervening variable. This research was conducted using a quantitative approach and used three independent variables, namely the level of risk (X1), benefit (X2), and ease to use (X3), then there is one dependent variable, namely the decision to use (Y), and one intervening variable, namely interest in using (Z). The samples used were students of the State Islamic University of Nort Sumatera in 2018 as many as 99 samples. The type of data use in this study is primary data by distributing questionnaires to the respondents. While the data analysis techniques used is path analysis. The results of this study indicate that (i) the level of risk has a positive and significant effect on interest in use, (ii) usefulness has a positive and significant effect on interest in use, (iii) ease to use has a positive and significant effect on interest in use, (iv) interest in use has a positive effect and significant to the decision to use, (v) the level of risk has no significant effect on the decision to use through interest in use, (vi) benefit has no significant effect on decisions to use through interest in use, (vii) ease of use has a positive and significant effect on decisions to use through interest in use. Interest path analysis was tested to be able to mediate the relationship between the level of risk, benefit, and ease of use on the decision to use a digital wallet. Abstract

The research aims to determine the effect of trust, convenience, and benefits of digital payments as a means of payment on individual consumptive behavior with digital savvy as a moderating variable. This study uses a quantitative method in data analysis where the data comes from the results of questionnaires that have been distributed to the respondents. The population in this study is Medan city residents, especially those aged 18 -25 years (Gen Z) with a sample of 100 respondents. To determine the sample using a purposive sampling technique, namely by determining the criteria for respondents including residents aged 18-25 years (Gen Z), domiciled in the city of Medan and using digital payments. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 25 with Multiple Linear Regression and Moderate Regression Analysis (MRA). In accordance with the tests that have been carried out, the results show that trust, convenience and benefits of digital payments have an effect on consumptive behavior. From the data test, it was found that the R square value was 0.552. It can be concluded that the variables of trust, convenience and benefits of digital payments contribute 55.2% to consumptive behavior while the remaining 44.8% are influenced by other variables. The MRA test that has been carried out also proves that Digital Savvy as a Moderating Variable is able to influence and strengthen the relationship between variables with increased R square results after being moderated.
