Abstract

Indonesia is a country that is experiencing the growth of the occupation where a third of the population of Indonesia is a school age child who is the forerunner of the nation that must be protected. In contrast to the situation almost every day is heard of violence in children who are dominated by sexual violence. In 2010-2017 cases of child violence reached 21 million cases, 42%-58% was a case of sexual violence. The case of child violence increases annually because the child is always positioned as a weak figure. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of parenting, teacher’s role and peers on personal safety skills in Tangerang. This research is a quantitative research, with a cross sectional approach. Research samples amounted to 294 respondents with simple random sampling techniques. The instrument used a questionnaire sheet. The technique of the data collection was done by interviews. The data analysis of this research using Chi-Square and logistic regression. The results of the Chi-Square test were obtained from the parenting (P = 0,039); teacher’s role (P = 0,021); peers role (p = 0,021). The logistic regression test found results contained in the parenting variables (p = 0,007) and OR 1.394; teacher’s role (P = 0,000) and OR 6.091; peers role (p = 0.001) and OR 2.260. Personal safety skills are an early effort done in dealing with child sexual abuse. With this skill the child is expected to be responsible for keeping the personal body from sexual offenders.

Abstract

The moral development of elementary school children is all the thoughts, feelings, and actions that exist in the period of school harmony or intellectual time by showing some traits such as honest, fair, respectful, helpful as a reference in acting. In the development of these children, the social world, namely the interaction between peers who can strengthen the understanding of moral principles such as reciprocal, cooperation, justice, and welfare. However it is slightly different when talking about moral developments in boys and moral developments in girls in elementary school age. The purpose of this research is to examine the moral development of boys and girls at elementary school age. The focus of the discussion on this study was the moral progression of elementary school age children, the moral development of boys and girls at elementary school age. The study used a qualitative approach with a literature study method. The results of the study expressed rejecting the moral development theory of Lawrance Kohlberg which says the moral reasoning of the boys is higher than the moral reasoning of the girls. There is a difference in the moral development of boys with girls as follows: 1) in acting boys lacking manners than girls. 2) The level of the male discipline is lower than the level of the daughter's discipline. 3) The boys pay less attention to the sound of conscience than girls 4) boys more often do a statement of regulations that apply than girls. 5) The level of honesty of lower boys is female Adri. 6.) Boys love to fight, have trouble, and engage in problems. 7) Girls prefer to invite to play with friends. 8) The little boy likes to help other people's work than girls who like to help other people's work.

Abstract

This study examines the policies of Islamic elementary school heads in improving the quality of the profession of Islamic elementary school teacher. The focus of the discussion on this research is how the teacher's profession is, how to improve the quality of the teacher profession, how to evaluate in improving the quality of the teacher profession. This research uses a qualitative approach with field study methods. The results of this study show that the policy of the head of Islamic elementary school in improving the quality of the teacher profession in MI Ma'arif Saman Bangunharjo Sewon Bantul Yogyakarta as follows: 1) Make himself (Islamic elementary school head) as an example. 2) Include Training, Training or Workshop. 3) Activate Teachers In Professional Organizations. 4) Conduct Class Action Research (PTK). 5) Supports improving teacher qualifications. 6) Follow The Latest News. And In order to conduct supervision to improve the professional competence of teachers, there are several things that need to be done by the head including 1) Making a visit to the classroom. 2) Monitor extracurricular activities. 3) Conduct administrative examination of Teaching Learning Activities (KBM). 4) Give a direct reprimand. The supporting factor in improving the quality of the teacher profession is the first of the seriousness of the madrassa head to the main capital as well as his commitment to improving the quality of Islamic elementary school. Both enthusiasm teachers to make improvements from the problems that arise in order to improve the quality of their profession. While the inhibitory factor in improving the quality of the teacher profession is the availability of infrastructure facilities that are still minimal.
