Abstract

Avitourism sebagai salah satu konsep ekowisata memiliki manfaat pada bidang pendidikan, lingkungan, dan ekonomi. Objek wisata Girimanik sebagai kawasan ekowisata menyimpan potensi keanekaragaman burung dengan didukung kondisi habitat yang relatif baik. Akan tetapi, eksplorasi data keanekaragaman burung belum dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keanekaragaman burung sebagai potensi untuk dijadikan kawasan avitourism di objek wisata Girimanik. Pengambilan data burung dilakukan pada tanggal 11-15 Agustus 2018 di enam jalur pengamatan objek wisata Girimanik, dengan menggunakan metode IPA (Index Point of vbAbundance). Analisis data yang digunakan adalah indeks keanekaragaman Shannon-Wienner, indeks kemelimpahan relatif, indeks kekayaan jenis, dan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif-kualitatif untuk menjelaskan potensi avitourism. Hasil penelitian ditemukan 60 spesies burung dalam 32 famili dengan tingkat keanekaragaman tinggi sebesar 3,1. Kemelimpahan burung didapatkan sebanyak 34 jenis termasuk kategori tidak umum, 22 jenis kategori sering, kategori umum sebanyak tiga jenis, dan satu jenis melimpah. Kekayaan jenis tertinggi dijumpai di jalur Air Terjun Manikmoyo. Berdasarkan potensi avitourism, sebanyak sembilan jenis burung endemik Jawa, tiga jenis terindeks daftar merah IUCN dan tiga jenis masuk Apendik II CITES, 10 jenis yang dilindungi pemerintah, lima jenis raptor, dan enam jenis burung yang memiliki bulu indah serta tiga jenis bersuara merdu. Girimanik berpotensi untuk dikembangkan sebagai kawasan avitourism.

Abstract

The Gajah Mungkur Reservoir (WGM) is located south of the center of Wonogiri Regency, Central Java. The variety of aquatic biotas, such as fish, in WGM is quite diverse due to the many rivers flowing into it. This identification is important because regions in Indonesia have a diversity of different types of fish and endemic types. The data collection locations were divided into four stations in the WGM. The diversity of nekton was studied using two methods, namely active and passive methods, and data were also collected on abiotic parameters, including TDS, water temperature, brightness, DO, and pH. The nekton found in this study consisted of 11 families comprising 15 species of fish and two species of shrimp. The dominant family was the Cyprinidae family, with six species: Hampala macrolepidota, Dangila cuvieri, Osteochilus vittatus, Barbonymus gonionotus, Rasbora argyrotaenia, and Oxyeleotris marmorata. The TDS levels ranged from 790-1050, water temperature from 28.9-30.4°C, brightness from 42-83 cm, DO from 3.55 to 4.8 ppm, and pH from 8.5-8.9. The Shannon-Wiener diversity index showed a value of 1.07-1.89, the evenness index ranged from 0.65 to 0.97, and the species richness index was within the 0.54-2.37 range. This sedimentation results in soil formation that local residents use for agriculture, especially in planting palawija crops. Sedimentation can also reduce the fishery areas within the reservoir and cause habitat displacement for nekton. Additionally, Mimosa pigra plants have been found to inhabit the sedimented soil, which may affect the water quality and ecosystem of the reservoir

Abstract

Aligning the sustainability effort of the Saguling Hydroelectric Power Plant (PLTA), Bandung Barat Regency, this study was conducted to understand the aquatic ecosystem balance through the diversity and community structure of the fish on those area. Data collection was conducted in July-September 2024 on 6 stations, which includes the environmental and fish diversity data through active method by direct capture and VES (Visual Encounter Survey), and also passive method through trapping and observation to the fish caught by fishermen or local residents. Data analysis was carried out through diversity, evenness, and species richness. Based on data collected, 570 fish from 22 species and 15 different families were found. The mostly found species were guppy (P. reticulata), pepetek (L. equulus), and red devil fish (a. labiatus). The environment of study area location in general has good circumstances of water quality to support fish lives and other fisheries activity (class 2 to 3) regarding to water quality standard. Based on ecological index calculation results, study area location has a medium diversity with a score of 2.548, high evenness with a score of 0.813, and medium species richness with a score od 3.464. While station 6 (Cicangkang Hilir) has the overall highest index compared to other stations.
