PT. X is n new express delivery company which was established in 2010 and still using the traditional business system. PT. X needs information system strategy and information technology (IT) to support its business processes so it can survive and compete in this modern business world. The information system strategy and IT that will be applied adjusted to the vision, mission, companyâs strategic, and companyâs need.In effort to produce information system strategic and the IT for PT. X analysis is performed using information system strategic planning which is started with porter value system analysis methods, strength, weakness, opportunities, and threat analysis (SWOT), and TOWS analysis. Finally, the analysis is continued using balanced scorecard analysis (BSC) and critical success factors (CSF).From the research conducted, informations about the companyâs conditions, companyâs needs, and the companyâs competitive forces are produced. The companyâs CSF can also be known from this research. In the end of this research the most suitable aplication portfolio with the companyâs vision mision, strategy, and companyâs need are produced for the PT. X.

Nowadays, technology develops very fast.Â Â Especially as a support for business activity, such as administration information system which is already applied by X distributor. There are some elements to be fulfilled in order to apply the technology. However, it is important to calculate the benefits compare to the technology expenses. To help the organization in solving that problem, it needs an Information Economics as a tools to calculate the benefits and the investment.Based on that problem, there must be an analysis on the investment. That analysis can be done by calculating the ROI and IE Score. Then, the result can be a consideration whether the infestation worth to be done or not. The quantification which is divided into four categories, value linking, value acceleration, value restructuring, and innovation valuation and makes a questioner for the weighting to the business and technology domain.Because of the complexity calculation process, there was made a calculating tool which can help the organization easily get the result of ROI and IE Score. That application based on the web which is use a PHP program language and Mysql as its database. It will make the user easily access the application everywhere and every time. The weighted score from the analysis is 82.86. This score was categorized as a very great investment. Moreover, the payback period is a year 5 months and 11 days.

Nowadays, PT. Balatif has the calculation system for production cost that can only include the calculation of cost of materials based on standard Bill of Material (BOM), while record of factory overhead cost, direct labor cost and report that relating to the calculation of Cost of Goods Manufactured of product still cannot be handled by the system. So that the current costs that really occurred in the production process will be difficult to trace and the production cost not based on reality process. Based on that problem, this research design a system to calculate production cost that can handle that problem. This application used Microsoft Visual Studio .Net 2005 as the programming tool and Oracle 10g as the database. Results that obtained from the application that have been made are raw material usage can be saved based on BOM or additional, machine usage, operator usage, and so on associated with the production process. In addition, the application that has been made can be used to allocate the costs that occur during the production process and to generate reports related to the calculation of Cost of Goods Manufactured of a product automatically.

Petra Christian University Student Executive Board (BEM) needs an administrative and project management system that can help managing the activities. This Board was having a problem of coordination on managing the activities they have. The tight schedule of each member of the executive staffs who comes from different departments has created this problem. To answer the above problem, an administrative and project management system is developed to help PCU BEM managing each of their activities. The scope of the system covers access privileges, job divisions and task assignments, proposal creation and budgeting arrangements of the implementation of each activity. The application is developed as a web-based system using Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004, PHP and JavaScript programming language and MySQL database system. The system testing concludes that the application is able to support the performances of the BEM executive staff members in managing their activities. The detailed job divisions let the implementation process of each activity be easily viewed by each executive staff member.

Web and SMS is a new development that is useful for many people as a data exchange media. In the business world, especially for marketing use, by using those two media business can be performed globally so that informations are fast and easily spread all over the world. From this problem born an idea to promote Diamond Hotel by using web and a facility to reserve room using SMS. This Application was created by using VB 6 language and using AT command to communicate with cellphone. Meanwhile, data that flow between system and cellphone are in the form of Protocol Data Unit. System had been tested by sending SMS request from a cellphone and system sent back SMS response as requested by user.

Informatics Engineering Department Petra Christian University do inspection process for judicium manually. This manual process spends considerable time and difficulty in adjusting to the curriculum and regulations. Based on the problems faced by the Department of Informatics, the author develops an application to help speed up and simplify the judicium inspection. This application includes the setting of curriculum, setting fields of study, inspection requirements judicium, determining areas of study graduated students and graduation report. This application was created using ASP.Net programming language and MYSQL as a database. Based on the testing processes, this application has been able to meet the needs of Department of Informatics in the judicium inspection process.

Manggala Motor is a vehicles selling company. Occasionally the company lacks goods stock so that it can not obtain maximal profit because the customer needs can not be compiled by the company directly. The company needs an application that can forecast the motorcycles selling for next period, the application is expected to solve the companyâ€™s problem. The application is made by using ARIMA method (Autoregressive-Integrated-Moving Average). The result of this application is information about the selling forecasting in the next period. It is hoped that the selling forecasting can help the company to prepare the goods stock and fulfill the costumers demand.

Mandarin is the dialect of Chinese spoken in the North and Southwest of Republic of China. International bussiness also prefer people who can speak more than one international language, which is other than English, so Mandarin become one of the language that many people search for. So many people in Indonesia who cannot speak Chinese especially children. Children usually not being taught to learn Chinese in school and the parents also cannot teach MandarinThis application helps people learn Chinese. This application have features such as Picture Guessing, Sound Guessing, Arrange the Sentence, Chinese Spelling, and Writing Chinese Character. Picture Guessing teach user about Mandarin using pictures. Sound Guessing teach user about Mandarin using sound. Arrange the Sentence teach user how to arrange Mandarin sentence based on English sentence or arrange English sentence based on Mandarin sentence. Chinese Spelling teach user how to pronounce Mandarin word correctly. Writing Chinese Character teach user how to write Mandarin character based on the word displayed.Through this application user teach user about Mandarin language about pictures and sounds, user can learn how to write Chinese character based on the word displed, user learn how to pronounce Chinese language correctly, user can learn how to arrange Mandarin sentence based on English question or arrange English sentence based on Chinese question
