Abstract

Electronic stores are generally known as a place for selling electronic appliances that are disorganized - in the sense that they are concerned only with the principle of sales and profits. This design aims to create an electronic store design with a holistic problem solving, from the commercial, function, and aesthetics side, which design is based on the real project that the author did professionally.Interior Design of Electronic Shop in Sukabumi is designed by creating a brand image in terms of creating characteristics of the store from interior design side as an initial design for development in the future as well as unifying the concept of the store so as to give the impression unity. In addition, a sustainable commercial interior approach is also used to create value in design. The design is also equipped with supporting facilities such as Sunda Café for leisure, commercial office room, service & trial area, information booth, credit booth, warehouse, loading dock area, and employee’s room.

Abstract

Indonesia is the largest archipelago country in the world. In the tourism sector of Indonesia, Bali is one of the top tourist destinations. Each year tourist arrivals to the island of Bali always increases. Not often foreign travelers use cruise ships as a transportation to the island. Benoa cruise ship terminal is the only waterway entry for tourists into the island. In fact the facilities provided by Benoa cruise ship terminal inadequate for an international standard. This reason creates a necessity for passenger terminal interior design. Selected design concept is "Local Content in Modern Design" with the aim of making Benoa as an international gateway for foreign tourists who want to visit the island of Bali and to introduce Balinese local values to foreign tourists.

Abstract

The design aims to solve the existing problems: 1) the lack of Chinese cultural elements and characteristics, 2) the absence of space to welcome guests such as lobby, and 3) the use of monotonous furnitures. Based on those problems, designer learns how to create an interesting, warm and cozy Chinese restaurant atmosphere with Chinese characteristics that is able to maximize the functionality of each room within the restaurant. The interior design of this Chinese restaurant located in Surabaya is also act as an introduction to modern Chinese culture towards society. Design Thinking method is used to get the maximum result during the design process. The design results in the establishment of a lobby facility, a semi-VIP area that offers scenic view, VIP rooms as private areas, the stage to accommodate music and dance performances, buffet area, and bar. In the end, hopefully the design of this Chinese restaurant could be an alternative solution to resolve the existing problems, especially in Surabaya.

Abstract

Interior Design Street Food Center aims to accommodate the social needs of Tulungagung citizens with designing a comfortable place to eat and interesting place to gather with friends , family , and colleagues . In addition , the design has a target to provide new tourist attractions to residents of Tulungagung and also gives an interesting design innovations in town. This design represents a concept of street food with an interior street scenes accompanied by an indoor garden atmosphere that takes the concept of alun - alun Tulungagung, and the atmosphere of the beach which a tourism icon of the Tulungagung. These three concepts are combined together in a interior design so that food center it has a good atmosphere and cozy.

Abstract

Along with the development of the times that occurred in Indonesia, the car that was once considered a luxury and only for certain circles only now turned into a means of transportation that is almost used and owned by all community groups. Therefore, many automotive brands are competing to offer their vehicle products with various advantages each and has a showroom facility along with a workshop that can accommodate both vehicle owners and potential buyers of vehicles. This is of course realized by the brand of Honda as one of the leading automotive brands from Japan which has a name that is well known in the community because of the car products offered a large power but still efficient. Honda has many showrooms scattered throughout Indonesia, one of which is Honda Surabaya Center located in the center of Surabaya that accommodate the public to be able to buy a car, setting up the car, to perform maintenance and service on the car owned. The purpose of this design is to create a showroom that can provide a new experience to visitors who come and staff and has a characteristic of Honda itself. The method used in this design process is design thinking are (1) Discovery, (2) Observe, (3) Emphatize, (4) Leverage Stories to Discover Insights, (5) Frame & Reframe, (6) Ideate, (7) Decide, (8) Prototype, (9) Validate Your Idea, (10) Iterate.

Abstract

Surabaya is one of many cities in Java that has many chinese descendant citizen. In the history of Surabaya, peranakan chinese have quite significant role especially in term of economics. However, history pertaining to the chinese tribe,  especially culture are rarely available and has been substantially marginalized during the Orde Baru period. This causes most of chinese descent, especially young people in the modern era do not know how the history of their ancentors. In addition, young people nowadays are increasingly losing their interest in learning about history because it is difficult to learn and tedious. Therefore, it is necessary to provide a recreative and innovative chinese historical center in Surabaya to introduce the history about Surabaya chinese descendant especially about economy, social, architecture, politic, and literature. Additionally, this historical center will also introduced about Java chinese descendant culture.

Abstract

Tourism has become very important and impactful nowadays. It takes important role in recreation terms. Recreation itself has become human secondary needs. Lombok is one of the best tourism spots in Indonesia. But the number of facilities and accommodations especially resort hotel are very low. Whilst resort hotel could become very appealing to people and easily become another beautiful tourism attraction. To answer that problem, we design Royal Avila Resort with lobby, lounge, restaurant and bar as its facilities. We hope that this design can create a comfortable hotel facility. Also we combine modern design and local traditional culture (Sasak) to make itself full with values. Technical values, humanity, symbolic, economic, and commercial value are some of the values it serves.

Abstract

Indonesia as an archipelagic state owns a group of large and small islands that have the potential to become tourist attractions spots, including one of them is Bali Island. Viewing from this perspective, the interior design of this resort has become a supporting medium for the development of tourist attractions in Bali, especially in Nusa Dua. This project was implemented in response to the high interest of domestic and foreign tourist, which makes Bali a major tourist spot with its own appeal, which is the beauty of its beach and sea. This resort will eventually provoke the interest from domestic and foreign tourists to visit tourist attraction spots located around Nusa Dua. The results of this resort design consist of lobby, receptionist, luggage room, waiting area, staff room, lounge, and bar.

Abstract

Interior Design Gallery, Cafe and Retail Nostalgia is designed with the goals and expectations in order to be useful to the community as a place of entertainment, information, and education in the same, especially people who ever existed in the era of 1960-1990. Interior design galleries, cafes and retail will generate a nostalgic  is scheduled to be build in Surabaya, in the central part of the city area and the hotel Tunjungan and Majapahit. This location was chosen for the strategic place design and prospects, the location in a crowded area with high historical values, so that it communities and tourist. In an effort to be able to realize this design then takes several steps to meet the design requirements. The first stage is to find data that is needed to complete the design. As with literature data, the data typology as a comparison among other are kopitiam 88 in Surabaya, Surabaya Ourbar, The Bistrot in Seminyak Bali, and Cosmic Diner on Sunset Road in Bali.

Abstract

Indonesia is rich in ethnic groups, languages, religion, etc. Religion is one of the numerous diversities tolerated by the Indonesian. There are 5 religions admitted by the government of Indonesia, namely Catholic, Christian, Islam, Hindu, and Buddha. Christian is one of the most developed beliefs of its time, requiring a space to facilitate worship activity of the Christians. This design aims to present the unique characteristics of GBI ROCK in accordance with its vision and mission, as well as to design a minimalist church with still presenting a sacred impression in worship in order to be closer to God. GBI ROCK City Square is purposedly designed to give the impression of sanctity and the feeling of being closer to God during mass or worship while maintaining the minimalist concept. The main design in the vestry includes Prefunction section as a welcoming area for the congregation and multipurpose section as a facility designated to support the Sunday school.
