Sign consists signifier and signified, but other expert tell that relationship between signs and their object are iconic, indexial and symbolic. The relationship signifier and signified is convention and arbitrary, but it can also be denotative, connotative and myth. Culture can means a set symbol system, which is used by mansion or people for ruler their behavior, included adaptation and interaction with their physical and symbolic environment. Interpretation to know the symbolic meaning, it is focus of symbolic interpretivism paradigm and also hermeumeutic paradigm, wich both also focus to interpretation of human creation

Pageblug or outbreaks that occur in the community such as the pandemic of the current Covid-19 virus, have actually existed since time immemorial. This series of Pageblug events in the past has also provided experience, lessons and at the same time a warning to the community about deviant behaviors for the authorities and society. The method used in this research is descriptive analytical method which is based on observations and interviews. With the occurrence of the covid-19 virus pandemic, it is seen by the Javanese people as the Pageblug event, a natural event that marks that leaders, rulers and people in Central Java must improve their behavior to reach civil society. The leaders or rulers or officials must be able to provide protection and exemplary for the community, and on the other hand the people or society will also obey all orders given by the leader or the ruler.

The country of Indonesia, which has multi-ethnic and multi-religious communities, indeed requires the care of their customs and culture. The main treatment is aimed at building wisdom, togetherness and preventing potential social conflicts. The village is the smallest government institution in Indonesia, through the revitalization of LKD and LAD, the customs and culture of the community can be preserved, despite the great challenges in this modernization era.

Tourism has an important aspect in the growth and development of a country. In its development, tourism is needed by the community as a means of entertainment. The progress of tourism can also be seen from the many variations of tourism services, one of which is the Bersukaria Walk Semarang which is a sub product of the Bersukaria Tour. Packaging tourism services on foot and telling stories behind buildings is a new form of tourism. In carrying out its activities, a company that has a good organizational culture will be reflected in the work attitude of its members, in this Merukaria Walk it is called a Story Teller. This research uses ethnographic research method with participatory observation, namely following the activities of Jalan Bersukaria every Saturday-Sunday and national holidays then conducting in-depth interviews and documentation. In carrying out their work, Story Teller applies attitudes that describe the company such as values and norms that are also applied by the captain or company leadership. The conclusion that can be drawn in this study is that leaders have an important role not only to instill values, norms, and make symbols as a characteristic of the company, but also rituals or activities designed to bring Story Tellers and leaders closer together. to build relationships with its members. Organizational culture has an important role to play for Story Teller, as created by Bersukaria Walk which formed Story Teller for discipline at times as well as customer-friendly attitude.

THE -- condition of the Javanese society is now more individualistic, materialistic, and more prioritizing its own interests than the common interest, the lack of tolerance towards others, wanting to get rich by justifying all means, as well as violence and crime is increasing everywhere. Aspects of power and economic aspects become very dominant in the orientation of community life, which should only be a means of living together. As a result, today's society tends to pursue wealth and power by justifying all means, ignorance, and leaving mutual cooperation and tolerance.Soekarno's trilogy program implemented by the Governor of Central Java with the addition of "ora ngapusi" and "ora korupsi" slogan, may be appreciated by the people of Central Java, especially to improve people's understanding of their adhilugung culture.

The concept of 'manunggaling kawula gusti', which had developed in Java in ancient times, until now still colored the behavior of people living around Mount Merapi, which among others demanded the full devotion of the people to the Sultan and his magical companions, namely Baurekso Mount Merapi and Nyi Rara Kidul in the southern sea. Mbah Marijan and some of her descendants and followers still show loyalty, so in order to keep their Merapi they offer to the Sultan as the ruler of the human world, which is often regarded as the incarnation of Gods / Lords of the rulers of the universe. In this way they believed that their spirits would later merge with Gusti as their worship, as a form of uniting the people's physical body to the king and to rule over nature. The purpose of this study is to find out more about the meanings contained in Mount Merapi, namely the mountain that is feared and sacred by the people of Yogyakarta, and especially those who live on the slopes of Merapi.

Kampung Batik Durenan Indah Batik is a gathering place for batik artisans, which number around 20 people who are members of four companies. The existence of Sekaten tradition in The Yogyakarta Palace is one form of Javanese cultural heritage that is still preserved by the community until this day. According to the history, the emergence of Sekaten Tradition was not only to celebrate the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad, but also an initiation by Wali Sanga as an effort to spread the religion of Islam. The phenomenon of religious and cultural relations can be seen directly in the Sekaten Tradition held in Yogyakarta and its relation to the Kauman Yogyakarta Community. In fact, Sekaten with mystical traditional colors still exist in Kauman Village, where the majority of their people are identical with Islam and Muhammadiyah. They were accepted Sekaten's presence, even participated in those celebration. So that, the Sekaten tradition which always smells things that are forbidden by Islam, can continue to run well in every year.

Monel handicrafts grow and develop in Jepara district. It has characteristic that the skill of making monel art is preserved from generation to generation. Its ability to survive was influenced by how much the support of community. Community care and love for the craft can support the existance and development of monel handicraft. The process of descending monel crafts has the advantage that each family as a monel craft business unit has its own characteristics and competitiveness. On the other hand, there is no formal container for learning these skills. This makes monel crafts less open to a wider regeneration process. Even though regeneration really determines the development in the future. Looking at the current development of the craft, efforts to make a more open regeneration process seem necessary. Through this paper, the author try to find steps that can be taken by the supporting community and the Regional Government to form a formal and informal container. It is intended that interested people have access to learn about this craft. Regeneration is carried out to maintain the continuity and development of monel crafts.

The beginning of the struggle of Prince Sambernyowo begins when his father was exiled to Sri Lanka, the first struggle was done by helping Mas Garendi invade Kartosuro Palace, because Pakubuwono I in cooperation with the VOC. Thap next Prince Sambernyowo held a direct resistance to the VOC which was marked by wars in various fields, among others, in Kartosuro, in Ponorogo, in Sitakepyak Rembang, in Vredeburg Fortress Yogyakarta, and others which then ended with emerging Salatiga Agreements. Many heritages Pangeran Sambernyowo during his struggle to ascend the throne at Pura Mangkunegaran, in addition to the palace Pura Mangkunegaran, among others Astana Mangadeg in Karanganyar, Inscription Nglaroh and Tugu Pusaka in Nglaroh Wonogiri, Pablengan Karanganyar and Sendang Siwani Wonogiri.
