Abstract

This research aims to preserve the historic Chinatown of Semarang with the concept of preserving cultural heritage areas as mandated by Law No. 11/2010 on Cultural Heritage. Of course this effort is also a form of collective memory maintenance, because this village is very historical. The research method was carried out by observation, interviews and conservation planning. In the effort of preserving or conserving the cultural heritage areas, the concept of spatial planning with multiculturalism dimensions is also developed, meant that spatial planning is pursued in conjunction with cultural acculturation activities to reduce stereotypical social problems that still exist today.

Abstract

Memilih dan menentukan judul penelitian merupakan bagian penelitian yang menarik karena dalam memilih dan menentukan judul ada pertimbangan-pertimbangan akan masalah penelitian, tujuan penelitian, teori yang digunakan, dan desain penelitian yang dipilih.  Akan tetapi, bagi peneliti pemula, kadang memilih judul merupakan bagian yang sulit. Memilih judul sering menjadi masalah tersendiri dalam memulai penelitian. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menguak problema dalam pemilihan judul penelitian kebahasaan bagi pemula serta mengajukan kiat-kiat untuk mengatasinya yang diajukan berdasarkan pengalaman dalam perkuliahan maupun membimbing karya tulis mahasiswa. Berdasarkan pengalaman empiris penulis, problema yang biasa muncul dapat diklasifikasikan menurut isi dan bahasa. Menurut isinya, judul yang dipilih merupakan judul yang sudah banyak yang membahas (jenuh), judul terlalu luas jangkauannya, judul terlalu berat untuk dikaji seorang pemula. Secara kebahasaan, judul yang mengandung problema adalah judul yang ambigu, tidak jelas fokus kajiannya, serta tidak padat. Kiat-kiat untuk mengatasi problema itu adalah dengan memperhatikan data yang ditengarai mengandung permasalahan penelitian serta menggunakan kata kunci sebagai bahasan utama atau topik, variable, atau ancangan yang digunakan. Problema pemilihan judul bersifat kontinum, karena suatu problema dimungkinkan tumpeng tindih dengan problema yang lain.Kata kunci: problema; judul;  penelitian; kebahasaan ABSTRACT               Choosing a topic in conducting research is very interesting due to many things to consider namely research questions, purpose of the study, and theory used. However, for young researchers, it is not easy to construct a good title. This sometimes becomes a problem in their research. This article aims to uncover the problems in choosing a title and propose some tips to solve them. This is done based on the experiences in lecturing and supervising the students to write scientific papers. The problems may rise can be classified in terms of its content and its language. From the content side, the title may be too broad, or has been investigated by many writers, or are too good to do. From the linguistic point of view, the titles are sometimes  ambiguous, not clear, and not concise. The tips used to cater the problems are using key words to present the topic, variable, or approach to the analysis used.   Keywords :  problem; title; research; language

Abstract

The arrival of Laksama Cheng Ho to Indonesia in the past with friendship has actually laid the foundations of a very harmonious relationship between ethnic-ethnic in Indonesia with ethnic Chinese.A multiculturalism approach would be a strategic bid to change other approach models that once existed. By taking the spirit of Cheng Ho’s voyage, this approach is a good new model but not yet tested, the government should wisely adopt a wise civic policy by providing facilities for infrastructure such as moral appeals, encouragement or in the form of conducive legislation. Even if later will happen acculturation process or assimilation let happen by itself and can not be forced.

Abstract

Although there were three Sultans who had ruled the Demak Sultanate whose influence extended beyond Java, until now the location of the kingdom's center was not certain. It is estimated that the location of the palace or the center of this kingdom is in the center of the city of Demak now, because in this city you will find the Great Mosque of Demak, a royal relic located in the center of the kingdom. The lack of data / archaeological remains regarding this kingdom causes the condition of the center of the kingdom is not known. However, there are several remaining toponyms and geographical conditions, presumably the data that can be used to try to study the socioecological center of the Demak kingdom, of course by looking at the processes of change.

Abstract

Abstract In the people of Kawengen Village, "mblandong" is the best economy activity. They have ignored legal or illegal rules, because at the reality, mblandong can develop of the other sector of economy at their village, to the agriculture, carbon industies, industries of handicraft and furniture. Beside that, mblandong also can available to the building material. In this case, mblandong very important for economic, and than mblandong will be custom or folkways of The Kawengen people.
